The first thing to mention about Citadines is that it is located in one of the best spots in Melbourne CBD. Bourke Street is central and close to many restaurants and shopping districts. Transport is easily accessible with a tram stop located just out the front to take advantage of the City free CBD zone.
Citadines staff are very friendly and helpful. I felt at home and all enquiries where dealt with a professional manner. The front lobby area is fitted out with lounges, TV and some Mac desktops.
The apartment room I stayed in was very comfortable. Great size, with a bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet, lounge area and kitchen. This was a lot bigger than I expected.
There was a great view from the windows. I think the only fault I can pick is that the windows did not open. However, there was an air conditioner that I used to help freshen up the room.
Bathroom: was clean and there were plenty of extra towels, soap, hair dryer, shower cap and tissues to use. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were really lovely and smelt if citrus.
Kitchen: was full of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The fridge was a great size if you are planning a long stay. Also available was a hot plate and dishwasher. It felt like my kitchen at home!
Bedroom: was clean and comfortable. Good mattress and extra linen, blanket, pillow available. A phone, alarm clock, iron, ironing board and safe were available to use. There was a television was set up in the bedroom which was great after a hard day of work.
Lounge: fitted out with a television, couch, coffee table and study desk. For those travelling to Melbourne CBD for work this is ideal.
When I return to Melbourne again I will book here again.
