This was my 4th stay at Citadines St Georges Terrace Perth and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The location is excellent—close to everything in the city, yet quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Great value and a convenient choice for a Perth city visit. I’ll definitely be back again!

I picked this hotel for our weeks stay in Perth, due mainly to the reviews I had read, and its location. It was a very good choice. Checking in was very simple, and quick. Staff on the desk was excellent, always had a minute for a chat every time we came in and out.. Room was very good, clean, comfy, and quiet. Shower was excellent.. The location is excellent, within waking distance for many of the local attractions, and the free transport was brilliant. Many great coffee shops within a stones throw, and places to eat in the evening. The laundry was very useful, as we were on a months holiday around Australia and the Far East. Also having a fridge, for milk, beer, orange juice etc was a bonus. As with many hotels now, lack of cupboard space is always an issue. Great value for money hotel.

Everything was perfect during our stay. Staff were extremely courteous. Room comfortable and the location central to everything in town. The only issue I had, though this is not a complaint, the bath tub in the toilet is really dangerous for older folks. It represents an ice skating rink when taking a shower. It is an accident waiting to happen. I recommend that before it does, please put anti skid mats in the bath tub.

Stayed for one night in room 304 whilst in the city for a show at the Convention Centre. Very convenient location, short walk to restaurants and shopping. Room was spacious and comfortable. Large comfy bed, small kitchenette, large bathroom with spa bath. However, the glass door on the shower was extremely narrow, wouldn't want to be a plus sized person, could make things a bit tricky. Hot shower with good water pressure. Unattractive view of neighbouring building. Very friendly and welcoming reception. Nice welcoming gift for being a ASR member. Reasonable value compared to some other Perth hotels. Would stay again at the right price.

1. The toilet can not flush clearly for the human waste with many many times, I push the button. The waste was still at the bottom for overnight. Next day in the morning, I informed Reception, and then it was fixed. After I went to the toilet , it happened again without flushing my human waste.2. The wash hand basin is too small. Whenever you brush your teeth, then your head will hit the mirror.3. The shower stand is small as well. It is gard to turn around and if you are a bigger size person you will hit everywhere inside the stand.4. The only good point I can say is that the location is great. Just right into the centre of the commercial area and easy to take the Blue Cat Bus to Kings Park

Our second stay at the Citadines, Perth.|As tourists in the city we find it convenient for the bus to Kings Park or walking to Elizabeth Quay, the station, the Perth Mint and the CBD.|Having a 24hour check in was great because we arrived just before 01.00am. A supply of milk and tea or coffee meant we could have a warm drink before bed.|There are cafes and shops within walking distance for all your needs.

be warned: housekeeping have sticky hands. my Dior jewellery was stolen. it was in an unbranded pouch. the housekeeper described seeing a necklace that was in the pouch, and yet claims she never saw the pouch. management came to my door several times to plead for the housekeeper, saying she is on a permit and may be banned from working or returning to Australia. am i supposed to empathise with a thief and accept the hotel’s protection of a thief? the management say they are unable to do anything about it and the police are helpless too due to the lack of CCTV footage. you’ve been warned. do not stay here.

The location is near Perth station making it very convenient. A direct train from and to airport. The room is dated but functional. Housekeeping needs to improve as they don't top up the amnenties and vacuum the floor everyday. No toothbrush and bedroom slippers unless requested.

Yelp
Ended up in Perth for a few days for work and Perth being Perth, all our preferred hotels were booked out. All we could find was this place. My requirements for a hotel to stay in for work are quite simple - It has a bed and its clean. The Somerset filled both those criteria nicely. It was also cheap (for a Perth hotel) and pretty comfortable. Their restaurant was a great surprise. We rocked in there quite late after a hard day and really didn't expect much. The food though was excellent and reasonably priced. We had a really nice meal. The only downside I found was the cost of the in room network connection which was extortionate. Its more serviced apartments than a regular hotel (which means each of the rooms has a fridge and a sink) but you really couldn't prepare a meal or anything there. Not in the cheap rooms anyway. Apparently the more expensive ones have more facilities. They are a good size though and the bed was huge. it was two doubles pushed together so you could easily sleep 4. The more expensive rooms are bigger and would sleep more people. It would be a good place to stay if you had a bunch of friends who wanted to see Perth on the cheap and didn't mind sharing.
