My second time visiting this museum. Other than the wonderful to-scale casts and structures of ancient architecture from France, there’s a fascinating exhibition of modern architecture including some of Le Corbusier’s seminal works. This one has place has lovely views onto the Eiffel Tower.

One of my favorite museums in Paris. We just saw the delightful exhibition on the Grand Magasin of Paris. The castings and reproduction of architecture are great, the recreated murals (especially the dome) are beautiful and the architectural models are fascinating. And the full scale build of the Corbusier apartment is fascinating. Never too busy and with great views if the Eiffel tower.

Great museum for those who are fascinated by architecture, art or design. The vast collection include reproduction of cathedral portals, stained glass windows, and mural paintings.

This site is absolutely stunning – full of history and beauty. A must-visit. unfortunately, the experience is spoiled right at the entrance by Mr. Tenan, Alpha chief of the Korporate agency, who barks at visitors for no reason. I’ve met street aggressors with better manners. In a cultural landmark of this standing, basic courtesy should be a given. How can such behaviour still be tolerated?

Big, spatious interesting museum if you like architecture + some really captivating temporary exhibitions sometimes. I really recommend this place.

A place where you can really enjoy the exhibits quietly. You can also take pictures of the Eiffel Tower.

I’ve always loved this museum, but unfortunately, our recent visit ended on a very disappointing note. At around 18:40 (despite the official closing time listed as 19:00 on their website—see photo attached), a security guard abruptly asked us to leave, without any courtesy or prior warning. We were not informed—neither when we bought our tickets nor during our visit—that the museum actually begins clearing visitors out well before the stated closing time. While we understand that staff may need to start closing procedures a bit earlier, the lack of clear communication and the rude attitude of the security guard left us with a very unpleasant impression. It’s a shame that such poor organization and unprofessional behavior tarnished what should have been an enjoyable cultural experience.

Incredible, hidden museum, at the Trocadéro. Almost zero tourists, focused on historical architecture. Splendid views on the Eiffel towers by the windows. Entrance in 9Euro. Exhibits don’t always have English descriptions.

Yelp
Part of the luxury of living in Paris is the leisure to slowly explore the city through its museums, especially on First Sundays, when quite a few of them are free. A few friends and I had a chance to recently visit this treasure of a museum and I was reminded for the umpteenth time as I gazed at the casts and replicas of the treasures of medieval and modern architecture that the French have many reasons to be proud of their heritage and patrimony. An unexpected pleasure of visiting this museum is the different views of the Eiffel Tower that are afforded as you climb floors of the museum. Well worth a visit, and can be well visited within 2-3 hours.

Yelp
WOW! A lot of cool really old ancient stuff! Chances are you plan on visiting the Eiffel Tower, and chances are you used the Trocadero Metro station to get here for the view, and chances are you are a smart tourist and bought a Paris Museum Pass, which includes this museum. Its definitely worth an hour of your time. But if you don't have the pass, the €8 regular admission seems seems a little hefty.

Yelp
Small architecture museum located right near the Eiffel Tour. We came here since our Paris Pass included free admission to all the museums...and we wanted to escape the cold! Not very big but really cool to see small versions (replicas) of some of the monuments around Paris. Definitely worth about an hour of your time to visit -- not really anything cool for the kiddos but as an adult you may enjoy exploring.

Yelp
Actually 2.5 stars. Nothing inside here is real, but the fact that it fooled me for the first ten minutes bumped it up to a 2.5 star museum. Well, in a sense it's a good thing. It shows some REPLICA architecture from churches, buildings, and monarches of major places throughout Paris. So if you don't have the time to actually visit these places, then coming here to look at the replicas is the next best thing. Very nice, attention to detail on each sculpture. Again, it kinda fooled me, but had I read their English guide, then I would have known right away. This museum is located in the Trocadero and it's part of the museum pass. So if you have some time to kill, then yah, come on in, or if you really appreciate 15-17th century French designed architecture. Otherwise, you can probable skip this replica museum.

Yelp
Interesting space with a vast display of unique architectural styles spanning the course of centuries. Included on the Paris Museum Pass it was an excellent way to spend a couple of hours and the overall layout of the museum was quite user friendly. Admittedly many of the pieces are replicas, but for the sake of diversity and evolution in styles it is interesting and educational.
