Nice hotel in the centre of Cognac. Lovely courtyard at the back. Room was small with a tiny shower but it was clean and quiet and air-conditioning was welcome. Breakfast was ok. No parking at the hotel but found some up the road.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All staff were happy and friendly and it feels as though everything is cared about from the cleaning, general look of the place and furnishings to the breakfast. The location is excellent, we parked the car opposite the hotel on the Friday evening when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left on the Sunday morning. Perfect in every way.

I found the room to be too basic. Very small & w/ basic necessities.Good bed, but having traveled from USA, I was looking for something a little more special, a little more charm. Very friendly & responsive front desk. However a good bargain for the price.

The family room was very nice and large. The bathroom was simple but efficient. The beds were good. The airconditioning was functioning well. The owners were very accomodating and stayed up until 1 in the morning to let us onto the parkinglot. Breakfast was nice. We would love to come back some day.

Nice little hotel in Cognac, the room was very clean and had air conditioning which we needed as the temperature was up in the 40’s that day. The bathroom and the toilet were a little small. The breakfast was self service and had a good selection,you could take your trays out to the courtyard and eat there. All in all a nice experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We picked this hotel from reviews as we wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful en route south. What a little gem. The staff were delightful and all very helpful and kind. We had fortunately booked a parking space through into the courtyard. Do book if you can. We were up on the second floor and there is no lift so bear this in mind if stairs are difficult. There are ground floor rooms available. The room was small but adequate for what we wanted and air conditioned which was welcomed. ||We had breakfast in the courtyard and we thought there was a pretty good selection with fruit and yoghurts, pastries and bread, juice and hot drinks as well as hot food. Good for a small hotel. ||The hotel is situated in the heart of old Cognac and near to shops and restaurants so a perfect place to stop off.||Would definitely return if we wanted an overnight again.

Booked 3 rooms for myself and family for one night.|The Reception staff were really helpful and genuine. The Rooms are immaculate and clean. Big enough not to feel gemmed in. Very quiet atmosphere when we stayed. Check out is easy. Absolutely first class and will return when we do our next Bar Luciole Visit !|Ideally situated for all that Cognac can offer.. Would recommend to everyone.. great value ! |Thank you !

Was pleasantly surprised with hotel . Although the room we had was very cosy in size it was clean & the owners were very pleasant . We dined at a local restaurant which they suggested which unfortunately was a bad choice ! The bed was very comfortable with very quiet a/c . The breakfast , what breakfast ? Very expensive at over €9 pp for a croissant , nasty jam , they had run out of eggs ??? I always use my own tea so just some milk & hot water a baby croissant with a dash of jam ! The excuse was they didn’t expect so many for breakfast ???|We would stay again but find somewhere else for breakfast !
