Citihub Hotel @Tunjungan

Pleasantly surprised as the room was satisfyingly clean and comfortably spacious. Just note that the room does not come with the usual amenities (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, towel) so pack your own or purchase them at the reception for a little fee. We paid for two towels upon check-in and the receptionist even threw in a pack of amenities for us! That was a nice gesture, so thank you again. ||Location of the hotel was perfect, just right across the road from Tunjungan Plaza, the biggest mall..or at least one of the biggest one in Surabaya. So convenient to pop over and spend some time there. ||Two things to improve on: ||1. Besides the guy who checked us in, the rest of the staff at the reception were not impressive at all and very alike zombies actually. No smiles, no greetings, no eye contact - all of which are basic etiquette if you are working in the service line, no matter a budget hotel or not.||2. Please be careful when handling guests' belongings/luggage kept temporarily at the reception. We were almost given the luggage of other guests while collecting ours, and had to tell the receptionist twice that they didn't belong to us. ||I would still return to stay whenever I'm in Surabaya, simply because the standard of the room itself has exceeded expectations. I hope the hotel maintains itself or better yet, work towards becoming the best in all aspects because it has lots of potential. Keep it up!

This is a budget hotel in central Surabaya. For me,the only good thing of this hotel is the location. It is very close to tunjungan plaza, just across the street. The staff is not friendly, surrounding is dirty. |I booked the biggest room of this hotel, so it's quite spacious with clean bathroom which i like however with non budget price. It come with breakfast but with selected menu in small portion and so so taste. I will think a zillion times to come back. Not comfort hotel for me

The hotel is located strategically in the center of Surabaya. It is convenient place for shopping and looking for food because it right across the largest mall in Surabaya. There are also several local cuisines in the vicinity. So, foodies will have a lot to try. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The WiFi have good connectivity. Staff is very friendly and the lobby have convenient store that sells basic needs when staying in hotels. I guess we have good value for money in staying in this hotel.

Located in the center of surabaya, this hotel gives an easy way to access every part of surabaya. Renovating ex-commercial building gives this hotel uniqe shape from outside, but when we get inside it is a totaly well managed hotel.||Every things is clean in the room, very worthed for the room rate i spent, even the corridor is very clean and good. The room is equal to 3-4 stars hotel. Forget about gym or pool or bathtub, since it is a budget hotel.||I enjoy the night here, but the AirCon is a little bit noisy at certain times, but human ear can bear it, so don't worry about it. I prefer windowless room, since the hotel is located on busy street, it could be very noisy. I book for windowless room, no cars sound is heard.

We opted for this hotel because of it's location close to the train station. It was a good mid-range option, a bit more expensive than we'd normally go for.||||Staff were polite, check in was quick & the room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable, AC worked well but the wifi not so good on floor 3. It always worked in the lobby though. ||||Breakfast was always tasty & arrived quickly, it would have been nice if the fresh fruit had been available though.||||All in all a very good, easy stay. Good location & good services.

Room was clean, bed is comfortable, aircon is good, hot or warm water is okay, no window view, just hope that the guest next to your room didn't take their noisy kids with them, they got wifi but did not inform the password to me as guest, well perhaps guest should ask for it but fortunately I'm not one of those wifi beggar kind of people. Breakfast is to be honest pretty bad. Since the hotel did not provide hot drinks maker in the room a mini market where you can buy hot drinks is available next to receptionist.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days.|The hotel was surprisingly clean, no tobacco or cigarette smells. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient.||One down side is that there is no direct sunlight to the room, but i would not mind to come back.

With minimalist concept, grand CitiHub Surabaya, really nice for guest rooms. I stay there on 9 Nov until 10 Nov 2015. All services is great, friendly staff and manager, not too bad with food. Closer with central business in Surabaya, face to face with Mall Tunjungan. Only internet wifi services is poor, but when plug cabling connection in room, Internet working well
