Citizen Cake

a choice for pre performance dining leaves a bit to be desired, as the timing leaves a bit to be desired. the food's not bad so if you can put up with the tension, you can enjoy a relatively inexpensive bite before the performance. better yet, stick with the sweets at the takeout counter, which are to die for.

I'm reviewing their pastry counter ONLY, since I've never actually been in for full dinner service. If you have a sweet tooth, prepare to curb your instincts to get one of everything. There are lot of tasty sweets here but you can easily make yourself sick in a short period of time if you're not careful.

The single best dessert I have ever had was at Citizen Cake. I can't find the menu, but it was a chocolate cake with ice cream, some other cream thing, and a shotglass of spiced pineapple juice. Holy crap was it amazing. I really liked the old location better, though.

this 3rd fl cafe in the virgin megastore leaves a lot to be desired. although the cupcakes are great, there are limited varieties to choose from. the food menu itself is limited to sandwiches and soup which is fine for the small cafe atmosphere.

The place was busy but we still got spot. Great place for the sweet tooth and to catch up with friends.

Totally overrated. I bought six different things here and not one of them was exceptional. Hmph.
