The most important thing about Citizen Hotel is its closeness to the International Airport. The hotel highlights the horizon which is splendid. The rooms are perfectly designed for comfort. Excellent Room service. Although I wish they could upgrade the menu. The hotel staff is so humble and polite. Overall its perfect package to stay for while.

Check In hotel at your own Risk. Air condition can never be stopped, neither could temp go below 21*C, A big no. As soon as we tried to stop AC all walls and toilet and floor, ceiling gets flooded with Water. Check in At your own risk. Never never never and ever book this . Staffs tried to help but nothing helped out. Worst Food ever, not a family hotel. People travel for relaxation. But we were worried for three days how to manage ac and stay in room and this lead to sickness. We wore very much annoyed. It was a fight. I asked for cancellation but staff said non refundable. Reception lady was non cooperative and arrogant. And internet horrible experience

Clean and tidy hotel, staff were pleasant. Bed was hard, breakfast was ok. Room was well equipped but hotel decor a little dated. Room above me was being renovated, so lots of drilling and hammering. Location was good if you want to be away from the busy strip. The best bars and restaurants are around 20-30min away. The partial sea view was very disappointing and the pictures in their adverts a little misleading.

Due to the location, the hotel serves as a drop-off location whilst you chill on the beach. If you are not bothered with 5 star quality, then this hotel will serve its purpose. We just wanted something close to the beach, and this hotel is literally on the beach!! The area at the back serves as a shaded spot where you can relax out of the direct sun. Also, the checkout is at 12 pm, so it's very handy. Service, as with most hotels in India, is great!!

My friend recently stayed at Citizen Hotel and it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment they checked in, they encountered a myriad of issues that made their stay extremely unpleasant. Firstly, the air conditioning could never be stopped and the temperature never went below 21°C. This was incredibly frustrating as turning off the AC caused all the walls, the toilet, the floor, and even the ceiling to get flooded with water. It was an absolute mess. The staff tried to help, but nothing worked. It felt like a constant battle just to manage the room conditions. The food was the worst they have ever had. It’s definitely not a family-friendly hotel. People travel for relaxation, but they were stressed for three days trying to manage the AC and stay in the room. This led to them getting sick, and they were very annoyed the entire time. When they asked for a cancellation, the staff refused, stating that it was non-refundable. The receptionist was non-cooperative and downright arrogant. To top it off, the internet experience was horrible. I strongly advise anyone considering staying at Citizen Hotel to think twice. Check-in at your own risk. Never, ever book this hotel. It was the worst experience ever. Writing this to create awareness so that people spending their hard earned money atleast get a fair return of service for which they are paying.
