⭐️ 1 Star – Harassing, Discriminatory, and Unprofessional Experience
This was one of the most uncomfortable and humiliating experiences I’ve ever had in a building that claims to be professional.
Me and two other women came to do a brief photoshoot after being granted permission weeks in advance by a staff member, with clear instructions that we were allowed as long as there was nothing going on and we weren’t interrupting anyone. When we arrived, the doors were unlocked, a woman was at the front desk, and no one stopped or questioned us—so we proceeded respectfully.
Shortly after we began, that same woman asked if we were members. We answered honestly and said no. The manager then came over very rudely, telling us we could not use the area because it was “members only.” We calmly explained the prior permission and asked for understanding. He then stated that we could use the lobby/public area, acknowledging he had no right to restrict that space.
We went downstairs and tried to make the best of the situation. That’s when things escalated unnecessarily.
The same woman followed us downstairs and aggressively asked, “How did y’all even get in here?” We explained the doors were unlocked. She then locked the doors behind us, went back upstairs, and continued to treat us like we didn’t belong there.
We were only there for about 15–20 minutes total and decided to leave to avoid further issues. Unfortunately, one of the women accidentally left her phone behind. When she tried to retrieve it, that same woman refused to let her back in and called the police.
To make matters worse, she then lied to the police, stating she didn’t know who we were and claimed she never even saw us—despite interacting with us multiple times. This made it seem as if we were trespassing, which was completely false.
The entire situation felt targeted and discriminatory. As women of color, it was very clear we were treated differently, made to feel unwelcome, and viewed as suspicious from the moment they realized we weren’t members. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic human decency was shocking.
I do not appreciate this type of service or behavior, and I would never recommend this buisness to anyone. No one should be made to feel unsafe, harassed, or criminalized for simply existing in a space—especially when they were given permission to be there.
