Rooms are small but very functional for a couple. Choice of viewpoint at check-in. Unusual maintenance issue identified on arrival which was sorted out very quickly. Location is excellent with easy walking to everything in the city centre and right next to a metro station. Could not hear any other gueats theough the walls. Stayed in room 401 overlooking the main road, but no road noise from outside.Would stay here again. No frills but cheap and very modern for the money.

I like modern alternative boutique type hotels and this matched all those things. It was a relaxing chilled friendly atmosphere. If you enjoy spending time in a big hotel room with tea and coffee making facilities then this is not the hotel for you. The room is comfortable modern and very high tech. The lounge/ reception area was a favourite place to sit and relax in. Loved the decor. Enjoyed the breakfast. Great experience all round in the centre of Copenhagen.

Rooms are rather small. The bed-adjacent-to-one-or-two-walls is very inconvenient (have to climb over your partner). The choice of centralising all controls in an IPad is a poor choice. The app is slow, 70% of TV channels don't work, heating controls are placebo. You can't even switch on the bathroom lights without the app (loading... please wait!). The sink is in the main room (very bad idea). No glasses (have to fetch them from the bar). No kettle/tea/coffee. Bathroom lacks privacy due to glass door which also has gaps; it also could be cleaner. One day there was no hot water whatsoever. For this price I would expect something much better. On the plus side, the location is really good and noise levels are quite acceptable.

Google
The best cost-quality hotel you can stay if you want to visit Copenhagen. It is situated in the best location(city centre and 1 min to Tivoli Garden and Metro). It has few non-stop groceries nearby amd a lot of places to eat nearby. The breakfast is one of the best i've ever eaten. The rooms are modern and techy (you control everything from the tablet they provide or from your phone). The staff is very friendly and helpful. For smokers is perfect because it is probably one of the few who has a terrace right outside the breakfast area so you can smoke and drink a cofee right after you eat while watching the city centre. Thing is they were bought by Marriot and they have told me they will dissmis their current App and checkin system(which were THE BEST in the market).

The room is indeed modern and clean (but very small and few equipped) and location is great. The view from 7th floor is fantastic. But it is still not worth EUR 200+ per night as it is just like a private room in hostel…. Copenhagen is definitely overpriced these days…

Lovely quirky hotel beside the Radhusplasden square and metro . We got from the airport to hotel by metro. Rooms are functional and clean and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Nice bar and cafe on 7th floor. We just had drinks there. Plenty of cafes around area and a 7Eleven shop very near hotel. We hardly used the metro as we walked everywhere. It’s about a 25 min walk to Nyhavn where the coloured houses & restaurants are and about a 25 min walk from there to harbour and little Mermaid.

Google
Absolutely fantastic hotel, might even be the best hotel I stayed at in all of Europe. The room was comfortable, spacious, and I had the best sleep with the black out curtains. The locker storage was extremely convenient and very safe with individual lockers. The self check in process was quick and easy and the staff was there to assist with any issues we had.

Google
Clean and quiet hotel that is centrally located and around the corner from Tivoli Gardens. Check in on the top floor took about 5 minutes. The room itself was very high tech. Could close the shades, adjust the room temperature, change the lighting in the shower and request housekeeping on an iPad. Took the train from the airport and walked ~ 10-15 minutes to the hotel. Walkable to the Kødbyen (meat packing district with lots of restaurants) and Strøket. Public transportation across the street.

Yelp
We've stayed twice at this location, at the beginning/end of a European holiday, several stops between. Each time, we have found the generally young staff members to be respectful and friendly, offering hospitality and responding quickly to requests. From my perspective, the "cons" of citizenM are room size, best for traveling alone or with a partner (in this case, my spouse) with whom you enjoy sharing very close quarters, and no coffee service in the room. The "pros" include outstanding location and view, very good climate and lighting control, very good breakfast buffet, and large dining area that doubles as a "living room" when you need it. Thank you, citizenM, for two good stays.

Yelp
An artistic hotel in the heart of Copenhagen, offering a wonderful and unique experience. Parking is available just a short walk from the entrance, and reception is located on the 7th floor where you'll also find an extensive collection of art pieces, a large bar, breakfast nook, bathrooms, ample seating and outdoor balcony where smokers are welcome. The rooms here are smaller, and also have an artistic flare. An iPad gives you access to the rooms functionalities, including mood settings. The breakfast offered in the morning is refreshing: pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, cheeses, cereal, omlettes, bacon and other hot dishes. You can also have tea or choose from a bottomless cup of regular coffee or something from their coffee menu. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the surprises around every corner add to an amazing experience!

Yelp
Stayed at this place for 4 nights during my stay in Copenhagen. I had tried CitizenM earlier at their Seattle location and knew exactly what to expect. This place was designed exactly like their Seattle location ( as a branded hotel should be). Can't ask for more thoughtful design elements when you are travelling alone or on business. Love their utilitarian design of fitting a king bed into a 150sft room. The bathroom pod is unlike any other. All glass and vinyl shower tray ( including the portion outside.) what I don't like? Having my vanity outside the washroom pod. But key, it's understandable when you have your square bed fit wall to wall. Guess the overall footprint of the room is not much bigger than the QSuite of Qatar airways. Great things- the room automation. Everything can be controlled from the iPad or from your phone app including the mood lighting, curtains, tv etc. The utilitarianism and minimalism. The not so great things ? Vanity outside the washroom and no coffee maker in the room . Also not having laundry facilities is real problem for a business traveller. The bar on the top floor is good and they had some good dinner options. I ate one dinner there ( the day I arrived).

Yelp
We stayed here for only one night of our trip but we wished we had stayed here the entire time! The check-in/check-out process is super easy - it's an electronic self-service system (like at airports) and there are staff members in the lobby to help you. Our room was on the smaller side but well-insulated from sound and the bed felt like a bigger queen. It also had blackout blinds which were super nice and we felt very well rested the following morning. Everything in the room is managed by ipad which was also really convenient so you don't have to get up to turn up the thermostat :)

Yelp
I love the concept behind this. My previous experience in Chicago was fantastic - the room was beautiful and spotless. Unfortunately, this room is quite dirty. The bed has prominent yellow stains and what appears to be dust or bugs, and the binders are also stained. The iPad isn't working well, and despite my attempts, the room remains uncomfortably cold. In addition to the other issues, the bed itself was quite uncomfortable and sagged significantly. At only 65 kg, I can confirm my weight wasn't the cause, and it simply didn't compare to the comfortable bed I experienced in Chicago.

Yelp
This hotel is perfect for a tourist's stay in Copenhagen. Highlights: 1. Location - couldn't ask for a better spot in the city! Easy 10 minute walk from the city center station, and central location to tourist highlights! 2. Customizable - colors, music, room 3. Commentary everywhere, even on the shower gel, which made me laugh 4. Really comfy bed! The comfiest bed and pillows I slept on out of 8 different hotels I stayed at during a recent trip. 5. Great rooftop bar/restaurant 6. Fun amenities

Yelp
This was a great hotel and a wonderful stay. I needed a hotel in Copenhagen for the night and found citizenM which really is pretty centrally located in town. The rate was really great so I booked it immediately based on the location and the look from the photos. Check in is on the 7th floor and while it's a pretty "people-less" check in, they have what they call, "ambassadors" there to assist with check in. Check in- 2p Check out: 11am The lobby features a great bar, living room and lounge - all of which is open and available to guests 24/7. The hotel had a great breakfast selection available as well if you needed it. The room was great. I'd be curious to see how the American rooms are set up, knowing this chain is world-wide, but understanding I'm in Europe- yes, the room was small. But the functionality of the room was great. This room was set up in a way that reminded me of a NYC apartment. The XL king bed which was comfy but could have been slightly more plush for my personal taste, is built into the wall, freeing up what little walking area there is. The sink and desk are in the main living space and the shower/toilet are in the bathroom. Everything in the room is controlled via the iPad in your room, including the lights and the color of the lights in the bathroom. For me a solo traveler this was perfect. Would I want to spend multiple nights here with another person? Maybe not, but for the way I travel, I would definitely stay here and I can't wait to try their other locations.

Yelp
Great location but tiny (think Japanese pod hotels) rooms and dismal customer service. You will be disconnected repeatedly on the phone and never make it to the front of the queue using the chat feature on their website. I wish they'd put as much thought into customer service as they did in decor.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's very new and modern. Everything works perfectly. The concept of having the reception, bar and eating area on the top 7th floor is different and it worked very well for us. The 7th floor was decorated beautifully and created a warm place to relax with either a drink or breakfast depending on the time of day. It is open 24 hours a day. Our room was small but met our needs. We didn't like the fact that you must turn on all the lights in the room to get light in the bathroom. Storage space is tight and they have large drawers under the bed to help with that issue. You really can't beat the location. It's adjacent to Tivoli Gardens and right in the middle of downtown Copenhagen. We will book this chain again.

Yelp
Super hotel! Very nice staff, clean and artsy. We loved the efficient compact yet high tech rooms. The thick insulated walls make it very quite. Very nice and healthy breakfast buffet. Best to pay it up front and get all the free coffee and teas 24/7 We would definitely stay again and the location is center to just about everything

Yelp
I stayed at the hotel for a week in September. During this time my room was not cleaned for 4 days, despite the front desk promising that the room would be cleaned each day. There was no improvement of service despite several calls to the reception. When emailing the hotel manager with a complaint at three separate occasions, I received no reply. This lack of service is a pity since the hotel is well-designed and located in the very center of Copenhagen. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful

Yelp
We could not have been happier with this cool hotel. The location is absolutely perfect: you are within a few blocks of the premier shopping district, the train station, the Nyvahn district, and Tivoli Gardens. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very very cool. Scandinavian design was very much in evidence, and appreciated. The rooms are fully automated with an iPad: we always giggled as we showered in "Party Mode." (You can safely ignore the concerns described by others about a lack of privacy. We didn't have any more problems with privacy while poopin' than in any other hotel we have stayed in. Bring some "poopouri" from the States and turn up the volume on the tv if you're feeling bashful.) Modern, clean, fun spirited and perfectly located.

Yelp
New and clean. But super small room. We'd ordered a room with view and asked for a quite room after a long working day. We got a room with "view" to the ugly backyard with noisy something whole the night. What is this noise? I don't know, it is just disturbing (like a motorcycle rinnikg with engine problem) We are disappointed and sad/frustrated. We will never come back to this place again. Why these people do that with their guests? when they have so many empty rooms available?? This is Sick.

Yelp
Spotlessly clean is right! It is a brand-new hotel and smells great. Room controls are by a handy iPad. The bed was situated between the wall of windows and the bathroom, and the only way to get into and out of bed was to shimmy down to the end of the bed. But the bed was very comfortable. My only real issue is the lav and shower right next to the bed without a sealing door. So get ready to hear and smell your partner! The lav has no separate light so you have to turn on the room light, which depending on the time, may disturb your partner. Other than that, it was in the middle of central Copenhagen, right near Tivoli Gardens and Radhusplasden. It made it very simple to get around.

Yelp
Overpriced hotel for very very tiny size rooms. The rooms are clean, but no room to move. They have like 5 hangers in there. There is no place for a couple to even open their luggage nor hang anything. The internet was not working earlier today. No call, no message. There is no views to speak off. I asked for a top floor and they told me if I want a view I should take a lower floor which I did. The view was that of a window to another room in the building next door. The TV has like 7 channels!!! That is it. Like it would cost them to add decent channels. It would cost a few Euros a room but they are so cheap they chose not to give you that functionality. Their iPad that controls the lights and temperature etx is a gimmick. They should get rid of it and give cable television. Overall it's more like a hostel and overpriced. The 7th floor has a cafeteria style restaurant etx which is way overpriced.... They don't even have coffee in the room.... The entire theme is very gimmicky.....

Yelp
Loved it! Great for locals to grab a drink or for travelers to spend a few days. The staff is awesome and the location is amazing. Brand new and clean. Great location. Excellent staff (Sophia, Agatha and crew!), Bar and Food served 24/7 , so it you can't sleep you can always head to the living room.

Kirsty R.

Yelp
Brand new and spotlessly clean. Great location. Compact room but designed incredibly well. Large and comfortable bed. Amazing shower. Unsurprisingly for a hotel, lovely shampoo too! The bar is well worth a visit. It's on the top floor and provides spectacular views of the city. Staff are lovely, and seem happy in their work. Will definitely stay here again

Yelp
I wish this were a review of this Hotel, but the corona virus thing required us to cancel our week in Copenhagen (part of a much longer trip). Some of the hotels and airlines wouldn't refund our prepaid reservations (even though we're 2 months out) but these people were efficient in looking up our reservation and fast to agree to a total refund. AND they were really nice about the whole thing. Good service, great attitude, nice people.

Nina C.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. It was a business trip, but due to his location I managed to explore the city. Location is perfect! Almost everything is within a walking distance. Room ia a bit small, but fully loaded. You can manage your entire room with an iPad. Very nice!

V V.

Yelp
Solid hotel centrally located in Copenhagen. Very streamlined checkin/checkout (no person involved) and interesting concept with IPAD controlling lights/blinds/AC in your room. Room is clean and modern. Very comfortable bed and linens and the room can be made pitch dark (good during the long summer days). Downsides: no coffee/tea provided and if you get it on the 7th floor, it costs extra. Breakfast is extra, late checkout is extra, you get the picture.

K K.

Yelp
What a weird tiny room. I get it's Europe. I know the rooms are small. But you better really like the person you're there with. NO room to move around. The toilet and the shower are in the middle of the room in a frosted glass pod. Don't fart cause your roommate will hear it. No really. The location is excellent. The breakfast is expensive. No place for luggage. Weird large drawer you can put one piece of luggage in but you still have to live out of it. And the decor is just awful. Large creepy animal statues everywhere. Trying to be eclectic but trying way to hard. Price was fine. The view from the seventh floor lobby was great. And super clean which is important to me.
