So let me put this one into some context. I have traveled quite a bit over the last 30 years or so and stayed at all types of hotels all over the world. This was my first time in a CitizenM concept. And while the property is very modern and "hip" it is not my cup of tea. The rooms are extremely small (I think my last cruise ship room was bigger). This probably should more of a 3.5 review (but it is more toward the 3 side for me). We barely had room for my wife and I and our 3 bags. That being said, the location is great. It is right near the center of town by the Train station and Tivoli Gardens. So no complaints there. I would advise passing on the breakfast. It was very modest by European Breakfast usually provided by hotels. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Again, it is the whole CitizenM concept that really doesn't work for me. ButI am in my 60's.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were completely satisfied from start to finish. We would especially like to thank Miss Linh, who was incredibly kind and helpful – her warm and professional attitude truly enhanced our overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised when she offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar with a beautiful view of the city, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is clean, modern, and perfectly located. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. I would absolutely recommend this hotel 100%, and we would gladly return in the future. Thank you for everything!

We booked the citizenM for two nights. And it was by far the best decision. Great hotel, even better staff. Never had a bed as comfy as that one! Only downsight was that the water pressure in the shower was pretty low, but we could oversee that! All the smart things doable with the handy, just great!

Was here for 4 nights on a work trip. You have to self check in and check out. A nice thing was that they had lockers so you can leave your luggage if you want. Room was tide and clean but a bit small. You could command everything from the ipad. Breakfast was good but not a lot of options to choose. You could enjoy your breakfast with an excellent view. Location is perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Let me get it out of the way. The rooms are small, like, Japanese big city small. But, they are extremely well designed and the beds are very big and comfy. There are cool ipads that you can use to control everything in the room and the service and location are outstanding. My wife and I are used to small spaces and the location allowed us to easily walk to some great locations. We would totally stay here again.

I was surprised how pleasant my experience was at the Citizen. Clean, great staff. Super friendly and helpful. The bar, lounge area was generous and had a nice vibe. The food was very good. Nice breakfast buffet. For a relatively inexpensive hotel you get way more than you pay for!

I don't recommend it at all. I stayed for 4 days, no one came to clean, take out the trash or change the towels. The room is 14 m, out of which 4 m is an impracticable hallway, so the room is 10 m, and the shower and toilet are cut out of the room. The sink is in the room, I have never seen anything smaller than this sink in my life. Everything is petty and lacking in comfort. The price is exorbitant for what it offers. The so-called reception is on the 7th floor and you have to do your own check-out. If you want to leave your luggage, you have to do everything yourself... even cleaning. Why do we still pay so much money?

Loved my experience at CitizenM! I was hesitant because I knew it was a small room (and thus was worried the experience wouldn't live up to my expectations) -- but I can happily say, they exceeded my expectations during my entire stay! The room was incredibly comfortable (from the bed, blackout curtains, incredible ac, lighting options, etc.). The staff were friendly and accommodating (even when I needed a late check-in because I had an overnight fight). Such a convenient location and was able to utilize the trains and buses nearby. I also thought the free umbrellas downstairs were so convenient given the unpredictable weather. So happy I stayed here and would happily come back again!
