I absolutely love this hotel! CitizenM is always my first choice whenever I come to KL, and this is already my third stay here. Once again, nothing disappointed me. The bed is super comfortable, the check-in process is the fastest I’ve ever experienced, and the room is always spotless. Even the bathroom is fresh and clean with no unpleasant smell. Everything feels modern, cozy, and well thought out. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We stayed at CitizenM Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights on 22 to 24 August. Our first time staying here. |It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.||We arrived very late around 12.30am. We were surprised at how smooth and efficient the check in process. |A big thank you to Mr Sina, who welcomed us with his professionalism and friendliness despite the late hour. His prompt service and positive attitude really set the tone for our stay.||The hotel is modern, stylish and feels very much like a chic European boutique hotel. The lobby has a vibrant vibe and the rooms are cleverly designed with smart technology. We especially enjoyed using the in-room iPad to control the lights, blinds, TV, and other features. Such a unique touch!||Breakfast that was offered has a nice variety of options. |Combined with the very reasonable room rates, CitizenM is truly a great value for a quick getaway or even a longer stay in Kuala Lumpur.|Before I forget, the hotel offer free parking. ||At the end of our stay, we left with only good impressions. ||Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a modern, comfortable and well-priced stay in KL. ||And once again, thank you to Mr. Sina for his outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. We stayed here for 3 nights during our KL trip and it turned out to be a great decision. The location is perfect with everything nearby, and the hotel itself has a very modern, smart design. The rooms are compact, but cleverly built, every inch is well used. What stood out was the tech: everything from the lights and curtains to the TV, alarm, and temperature is controlled through an iPad. Super convenient and fun! The only downsides were having to manage our own bags (no staff assistance for luggage) and the early 11 AM checkout. Other than that, it was an excellent stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting KL who wants comfort, style, and convenience all in one

Whenever I am in Kuala Lumpur, I come here, and it never disappoints. Their breakfast is average at best for me, but for people with simple pallets, it might be okay. Service is exactly what you expect from a good hotel. The rooms are the same as the pictures. Sound insulation is good for not hearing outside noise, but you will definitely hear people walking in the hallway. Location is perfect to be close to everything in the centre, however when you go into the hotel you can enjoy a different energy. For views, your room either faced the road and other hotels( when we were in our room, we could see people from the other hotel looking into rooms and waving etc. The only other option is the rooms that face into the other rooms, so I can imagine when people are in their rooms, curtains have to be closed. There are blackout blinds with a smart system that allow you to control the atmosphere, lights, and overall ambience. Beds are firm.

This was my first solo trip to KL, and I wanted a hotel that was close to public transport, shopping malls, and attractions and this place delivered!The location was super convenient and made getting around so easy. There’s even a convenience store nearby, which was perfect for quick snacks or essentials. The hotel staff were amazing very friendly and helpful during check-in, and they patiently answered all my questions. I felt really welcomed and safe throughout my stay. Highly recommend for solo travellers! 🌟

Everything about this hotel is good and clean but they’re clearly aiming for a high-tech experience, but the in-room iPad is quite slow, which makes it a bit frustrating since all controls for lights, aircon, and TV are managed through it. The iPad takes a while to respond, so you need some patience. Another issue is with the room door and toilet shower door.. it is very hard to push open. Breakfast was pretty simple with limited choices, but they do offer freshly made coffee and tea, which is a nice touch. The barista staff were super friendly and always smiling when interacting with guests. Even the reception team, both the morning and night duty staff, were incredibly kind as they offered me drinks and snacks while I waited for my Grab ride. Not sure if the rooms are soundproof, because I could hear my neighbour’s footsteps and even their shower running at midnight. The sink is also located outside the toilet and is very small, so water tends to splatter everywhere when using it.

OK, confession: We didn't actually stay in the hotel. 🤪 We saw the foyer as we were walking by and thought it looked like a nice spot to sit, have a drink, and chat a bit in relative peace and quiet. Tick 3 boxes! This place was great. I bought a bottle of red wine, we both found interesting books on the shelves, and we sat listening to excellent music for about 2 hours before wandering back to our apartment. The art in the foyer (and mezzanine) was fun and quirky, the library similar, and the bar staff friendly and well versed in their trade. If I had known about this hotel prior to booking our KL stay, I would have chosen the citizenM for sure! 😄
