Nice hotel for a short stay. The room is compact but not too small. You have enough space for everything you need. Generally is clean and cozy. Location is good. Lobby is very nicely design, if you are on a business trip, it will be good for you too i believe.

Stayed at citizenM Bukit Bintang and loved the experience! The location is unbeatable—just steps from Jalan Alor food street and Pavilion KL. The hotel is modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. Rooms are compact but very well designed, with smart controls for lighting, curtains, and TV. The XL king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The lobby has a cool, trendy vibe with plenty of space to relax or work, plus a 24/7 canteen which is super convenient. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. A couple of things to note: rooms are on the smaller side, so better suited for solo travellers or couples rather than families. Amenities are minimal (no kettle in the room), and breakfast is a bit limited. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you want a clean, tech-savvy, and well-located stay in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Highly recommended for short city breaks!

Whenever I am in Kuala Lumpur, I come here, and it never disappoints. Their breakfast is average at best for me, but for people with simple pallets, it might be okay. Service is exactly what you expect from a good hotel. The rooms are the same as the pictures. Sound insulation is good for not hearing outside noise, but you will definitely hear people walking in the hallway. Location is perfect to be close to everything in the centre, however when you go into the hotel you can enjoy a different energy. For views, your room either faced the road and other hotels( when we were in our room, we could see people from the other hotel looking into rooms and waving etc. The only other option is the rooms that face into the other rooms, so I can imagine when people are in their rooms, curtains have to be closed. There are blackout blinds with a smart system that allow you to control the atmosphere, lights, and overall ambience. Beds are firm.

Honestly, you can never go wrong with a citizen M. I will always recommend them but especially this as it is so high tech it made me never want to leave and cosy nights in were lovely. Being able to set my own alarms on something other than my phone was refreshing and having black out and normal blinds was great. Streaming services 10/10 and the friendliest staff ever, would 100% come back again. Location also perfect, walking distance to all the main spots and easy to t a grab to the caves or twin towers!

OK, confession: We didn't actually stay in the hotel. 🤪 We saw the foyer as we were walking by and thought it looked like a nice spot to sit, have a drink, and chat a bit in relative peace and quiet. Tick 3 boxes! This place was great. I bought a bottle of red wine, we both found interesting books on the shelves, and we sat listening to excellent music for about 2 hours before wandering back to our apartment. The art in the foyer (and mezzanine) was fun and quirky, the library similar, and the bar staff friendly and well versed in their trade. If I had known about this hotel prior to booking our KL stay, I would have chosen the citizenM for sure! 😄

This hotel is perfect for a quick short stay where you want no fuss, modern and clean amenities and don’t mind no frills. Check in and check out are simple and easy. Staff super helpful and always there to assist. Rooms are compact (probably best for a solo traveller really) but function well and tech element makes the room very customisable to you which is brilliant. The cameras on the iPad did freak me out as a solo female traveller but perhaps that’s just me being cautious. One disappointment was that housekeeping did not clean my room when requested. Cleaning services offered during your stay are basic anyway (seems like they try to deter you from requesting it which is rather odd to me) and I stayed for only two nights but basic amenities like toilet paper ran out and were not replenished. Hand soap was also running out (noticed this upon arrival to the room) so although the room and hotel were generally clean, I’m not sure how much attention to detail is paid by housekeeping to small things. Hotel was a solid option as someone just wanting a centrally located place to stay in KL for a quick stop over.

I genuinely loved the hotel’s decor, ambiance, and overall atmosphere. Everything from the design to the comfort was thoughtfully done. Unfortunately, the management and communication were severely lacking. I had mistakenly left my passport at the reception after checking in. Despite a 16-hour window, during which I spent about 12 hours within the hotel premises, there was no attempt by the staff to return such a critical document. This lack of initiative and coordination caused me to miss my flight. As a result, I had to pay out of pocket for an additional night at an airport hotel. I also reached out via email, but received no response. A disappointing end to an otherwise beautiful stay.

Love my stay in special room, stylish, comfy and spotless. Special thanks to housekeeping Kevin for personally helping clean my room on the first day, and to Viana for the warm welcome the next day'. These small touches made my stay extra memorable.
