CitizenM is an all self-serve hotel concept. Rooms are kept very clean but are noticeably small. The overall design is clever, making it perfectly fine for a single guest. Bed is comfortable; the only downside for me was the oversized pillow. Overall, it’s good as I had a good night sleep.

On the plus side it is very, very clean and the staff very, very helpful. The coffee and the cooked breakfast were excellent (though surprisingly no yoghurt amongst the varied choices of good quality food).|However, that is all the good things to say about this place. For the money we paid for the room (£100) I do not think it is worth it. It reminded me of when EasyJet did those functional hotel rooms in the 1980s. I would not call it a room - I have stayed in bigger cruise ship cabins and that's what it felt like - but not as wide ! The 'bathroom' is a frosted perspex cubicle within the room with no sound proofing and back lit to highlight the activities of the occupant. So you'd better be comfortable with each other. Though the IPAD controlling all functions of the room might appeal to some, it is not so with us oldies ! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room - and not even any cups for water or toothbrushes. Unacceptable at this price range. There is a fridge (with nothing in it). We found the room very poor design and facilities lacking - although at least it was very clean and the bed comfy, but more like a big bunk, than a bed !.|Location wise - if coming in to CDG from Terminal 2 (which most flights do) it is a good 20 min trek through the airport complex which includes getting on the (free) airport shuttle train and THEN a five minute walk outside of Terminal 1 , where the train station and bus station are located (semi covered walk way to the hotel). To be fair its reasonably well signposted, along with the other hotel chains, from the station area.. Not a great choice though for anybody with mobility issues. There also appears from Google Maps to be a more direct route from Terminal 2, with a fully outdoors route - but on a dark rainy night we were not going to attempt it (states 11 minutes ?).|Overall would not use this hotel again - poor value and not really that convenient.

Small room. Impeccable. We'll designed. Quiet despite being at CDG airport. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Had an excellent experience, on all fronts. The breakfast was delicious, as well. The lounge / lobby area was great - lots of art, lots if spaces, a few people wandering around.

On arrival we thought the room was fantastic. Very smart, bright and novel. Problems came to light during the night. However my husband had to climb across me to go to the bathroom, the duvet was too small for the bed (we were told we could have requested a bigger one, shouldn't it be on the bed already?) ,and because there was a small table next to the bed he kept hitting that as it couldn't be seen in the dark. Needless to say we didn't get a lot of sleep! The mattress a pillow were good 👍A small tablet is provided to operate the lights, the TV and the window blind which was novel. We were impressed with the rain shower which was hot immediately 👍 the shower curtain seemed to be a bit of an after thought 🤔 maybe to stop the toilet rolls getting wet? There were large chunks of fibreglass out of shower cubicle floor. Good quality towels provided 👍 Someone staying alone may not have any of the issues with bed. There weren't any glasses provided at the sink. Considering the cost of the room, a bottle of water could have been provided in the small fridge? Yet bizarrely a small blank book was provided should you want to write poetry during your stay 🤯 ( indicated on the cover) The reception area is fab, so much to look at! There is a bar, the prices are astronomical!! Personally we wouldn't recommend for a couple and didn't feel the room represented the price sadly!

Flight canceled in Paris. Found citizen M on bonvoy app and it was the most amazing experience.. The whole team was working together everywhere, front desk, luggage, food and beverage. They were kind, hospitable and I was amazed at the service. Warmly welcomed by Gaston at the front desk, he was able to find a room for early check in(lucky). I was jet lagged and went to the bar for a bite to eat and a beverage.. Ibrahim offered me his valentines special. Big smile, enthusiastic.. Osariem also welcomed me and was making drinks, assisting the desk. Victoria was staying busy assisting guests and offered me coffee and beverages. I have never received this level of service in an airport hotel!!! I will be back.

First of all, the good things:|1. Although the hotel is not only inside the airport - it is next to the runways, we didn't hear a thing. The rooms can be 100% noise proof , and as a light sleeper, I couldn't believe how quiet our stay was.|2. The staff - excellent people. They had a problems with the room keycards the day we arrived. They escorted us to our room, doing their best, and while it was a choir for them (they help all the guests this way), they kept their cool.||Could be improved:|1. Vegan food is very limited. in the attached picture you can see the best we managed for a breakfast. For dinner (when we arrived) they had nothing, we had to order from McD (and they cancelled delivery ) and then from KFC, so we ate much later than we wanted.|2. Arriving the hotel from the airport seems easy with Google maps, but was very hard with luggage. In the airport we looked for the hotel shuttle, found it and waited for a long while (almost an hour). Not even 1 shuttle stopped there. We got to walk a long way to the hotel in a rainy evening, and the way from the airport terminal to the hotel is short (300m) but exposed to rain and puddles, so we had to carry luggage and umbrellas, it was tough. I'm not sure the hotel can act upon this, but they should know.|3. The rooms are very small and with only 2 person it's crowded.

Perfect stay at citizenM Paris CDG! I had an amazing stay at citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle. The hotel is modern, stylish, and extremely convenient—just a short 3–4 minute walk from Roissypôle / Terminal 3 and the CDGVAL train, which made getting to Terminal 2C for my flight very easy. The room was super clean, comfortable, and very smartly designed. I loved the large comfortable bed, the quiet atmosphere, and the iPad controls for lights, blinds, and temperature. Everything felt premium and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming from check-in to check-out. The 24/7 canteenM is very useful, especially for late-night snacks or quick breakfast before a flight. What I liked the most: ✔ Ultra-convenient location for CDG ✔ Spotless rooms and huge cozy bed ✔ Modern technology in the room ✔ Great vibes and stylish interiors ✔ Smooth check-in and check-out Overall, a perfect hotel for travellers—comfortable, modern, and stress-free. I will definitely choose citizenM again for my next trip!

We had only a 14-hour layover in Paris before heading to Portugal so we picked M Citizen since it was in walking distance from the airport. We were surprised at this place. You check in via an IPad but someone is there to assist. The room was minimalist but everything you need. My only issue was the bed was scooted up to the wall so someone had to crawl over the other to get up. Rooms were quiet and comfy and very bare. |The restaurant is amazing and has help your self to fresh-baked bread. More on that in separate review.|The staff is young, hip and super helpful.|My favorite part was waking up in the middle of the night and wanting a cup of hot tea and a cookie. My wish was granted. The kitchen downstairs was 24/7 open and they had several beverage options and three different types of cookies including my fave, butterscotch chip! The hot chamomile tea and cookie were just perfect to help me fall back asleep. |We woke up, showered and hoofed it back to the airport for our final flight. It was a brisk walk but much easier and quicker than waiting and taking a taxi/uber; 15 minutes walk vs 30 to 45 minutes wait/drive. |We highly recommend M Citizen!

Update: Ok, this is the way back. We will stay here at The airport CDG T-3. in this Citizen M Hotel. One of the most consistent, clean , cozy with a modern Ambience Hotels i know of. This trip, been here twice. i can see T-3 from the front door of this Hotel. Not exactly next door , but less than ten with your bag. We came here tonight planning to fly tomorrow mid morning and not have to be involved with work traffic on the RER - B train or other travelers needing to be at CDG early. We can breakfast here or in the Terminal. Decide Tomorrow.

Very cute hotel that is at the airport. Everything was perfect. Loved the small room and the service at the bar was great. Will definitely stay here again before an eaely flight.

Billed as the hotel of the future, we wanted an opportunity to gaze into a crystal ball of the hospitality hereafter. The front-desk free experience was lacking as I couldn't get us checked in via the mobile app, so I had to have the attendant facilitate using one of their computer screens. The robot vacuuming or cleaning our hallway carpet was kinda StarWars'esque, but it repeatedly ignored our requests to play any hologram messages from princesses in peril. The room was small, as was the pod-like wet bathroom. I liked the fact that we could stream Netflix from our iPhone to the flat panel above the bed via the provided iPad controller unit, which could be used to open and close the window shade and kick off a disco light party. The food wasn't that good, but I did enjoy l'eau gazeuse gratuite. It's walkable to CDG, but if you're carrying heavy luggage without wheels, you're gonna feel it.

I loved my stay at Citizen M! Convenience from downtown metro to convenience to the airport shuttle train. Whimsical, fun. Fabulous shower area after enduring the little shower spaces throughout France. Absolutely wonderful automatic shades giving total darkness and total quiet. Nice food area on first floor with plenty of comfy seating. All in all, I would stay here again and again.

Super convenient to stay before an early flight out of CDG airport. Just from the RER B stop in T2 walk about 5 minutes out if the doors and you'll see RoissyPole bus depot. Great signage will take you outside. There is. Covered concrete path that leads to the Hilton and CitizenM. Staff help with check in. You get an electronic key card then you're set. Super modern inside the room. I've never seen the shower set up as a tube shaped wall next to the desk. The iPad-like device controls all and you get to select room mood (?) and color of the shower stall. A rainbow of color. The TV didn't work well and seemed to have limited channels. View of the tarmac at a distance. Decent sleep except for the noise of air venting in the shower stall. A console with sink in the aisle. Refrig. Hairdryer. What more can you want? Oh yeah, the club like feel of the ground floor with food & bar options. Nice hotel. I will return!

Let people know bed has only 1 entrance as other 3 sides against the wall. We had 2 bookings here, one on Oct 16 (made directly)and the other Oct 17-19 (using Expedia) for 4 night total. 1st we arrived at 1:15 am on Oct 17 after 10 hr drive from Torino, Italy with worst flooding in history causing road flooding and closures and GPS had difficulty issuing safe routes causing the delay. Room was small and cramped but OK. Problem was bed was placed like in a box with walls on 3 sides. Never in all our years of traveling have I seen this. Wish I had read the following review as I would not have booked. "Placement of the bed in the room was not convenient. Since the bed had walls around 3 sides, it was very difficult for the person against the wall to get out of bed. My husband had to climb over me in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom." Me: For medical reasons, I'm 85 and my wife is 75 and I have an enlarged prostate and get up frequently at night and my wife has shoulder disk problems. We could not with the bed attached to 3 walls rise over each other. No where on their website did it show this. Was made to pay immediately. Had I seen the room I would not have paid. We were beyond free cancellation and were refused a refund. I appreciate company policy but with the unusual not known bed situation and medical reasons not able to sleep on it, management should override the policy and refund but refused. To add to our misery we had booked 3 more nights through Expedia and as we just learned about the bed issue, at 1:15 am were an hour and half over free cancellation of the other 3 nights and were charged another night . Expedia worked 2 days to get a refund but they again refused. I feel it would have been decent and honorable to issue discounts based on the unusual medical reasons for the placement of the bed to only allow getting off 1 side. Place is nice, modern and for young couples bed no issue but I warn older people to consider this before making a reservation. Does Citizen M really need the money for 2 days cancellation fee. I hope that lack of future reservations when people read this cost them more in lost revenues.

This place seems like a scam. With just about any hotel you go to these days a bottle or two of water is waiting for you in your room. No such luck with this hotel. You have to pay for an over priced glass bottle of evian. Everything is controlled with a tablet in the room. I guess that's convenient but what is extremely inconvenient is the fact that my temperature control does absolutely nothing. I have been down to the front desk twice and called once. They don't seem to believe me that my room is freezing. They say their graph shows that it is 23°. If it was that hot, I would be sweating. I stand up on the chair and fill the vents and it is nothing but cold air pouring out of the vents. So maybe the air conditioning works great but don't plan on any heat. They brought me extra blankets. How lame is that?. And they offered free tea. I asked for a portable heater, but they say they don't have any. And they do not have any extra rooms available allegedly. Why not have someone come and fix the heat? Or find a breaker switch that maybe needs flipped? So they will offer a small discount and I guess that's fine. The company I work for will get a little money back. But that does nothing for me sitting in my room freezing. Maybe it is all because of this silly iPad that has to control everything. Maybe not. But there are no manual controls for anything and I think that might be the major downfall of a hotel that is trying to be more modern than it should. The room is tiny, but functional and the food downstairs is OK but very expensive. You will find you pay for everything that you might normally get at a normal hotel. I also noticed they don't have coffee in the rooms like any other hotel. And it seems if you want any you will need to pay for it. It might lure you in with the location close to the airport and what looks like a decent room rate but they will get you every other way they can. And you just might freeze in your room and they won't believe you.

Chose this hotel because of its location but will go back for its concept especially now I have understood that it is across the world ; I will intentionally seek this hotel. Love the choice of red as an accent color the many different zones in the open plan concept of the reception area. A special menton to the staff who are just wonderfully polite , helpful and efficient. Food was not good but excellent. The bedroom concepts suits my need and what I love : a huge bathroom sorry shower with great pressure , plush towels , huge bed with the tv right there on the wall. Mood lighting if you ... are in the mood I guess or just want a glow. WoW So happy to say goodbye to boring hotel and hello citizen M.

Clean, reasonably priced, an excellent place to stay if you have an early morning flight out of CDG, or are coming in late and want to rest up before proceeding on your journey to Paris or the rest of France. Cool technology with your room being operated via an iPad. Food in the dining area was more than adequate and there is a Marks and Spencer market in terminal 3 across the road for more food choices. Also across the road is a bus station with access to all of Paris and a shuttle train to terminal 2.

Such a cute hotel! I booked last minute after being stuck in Paris and this was very close to the airport. A modern, quirky design that I loved. The lobby and the restaurant/bar area was very nice. You actually check yourself in and make your own keys/check yourself out also. The rooms amenities were all controlled via an iPad in the room. I'd definitely stay in this chain of hotels again

We stayed here in March. We chose this for the price and its proximity to the CDG airport. We needed a place to rest for the night for our early morning flight home the next day. Citizen M was the perfect choice. When we arrived we were greeted with a really relaxed ambiance. We love the decor and concept. Check in is so simple and easy. You are able to do self check in but there are attendants there to help.The room itself isn't large but as a couple we didn't require much space and the space provided we felt was utilized well. The bed was extremely comfortable. We found the little quotes on items to be hilarious. The space was clean and comfortable and we loved that we could control everything with the provided control pad. The control pad allows for control of the lights, TV, Window shades and even the shower lights. Overall we had wished we had booked more nights here. It's perfect for the weary traveler. We would definitely come back or try out their hotel in other locations.

Citizen M lives up to its philosophy: affordable luxury for the people. The design is modern and all tech in the room is controlled by tablet. Good bar service. Even though it is located across the street from CDG Airport terminal 3, it was hard to find. We had to Google (not Google maps) how to get there because exact directions weren't easy to find on their website. But when we finally got there, it was well worth it to rest up before an early flight.

Really neat space to stay the night before a morning flight from CDG the next day. The room is compact but not unusuable and the bed is super comfortable and spacious. (The tradeoff of course is that the room is compact). The lighting effects controlled by iPad is really cool and I love watching the planes taxi around from my hotel room. The restaurant below offers a strange menu, not really much in the way of French food, so hopefully you're sick of the French cuisine from the weeks and days before your departure!

Very visually appealing hotel conveniently located next to Charles De Gaulle airport. Room was small but clean and modern, the lounge is decorated with a kinds of art infused aircraft memorabilia. The main bar has modern rustic look to it and the morning buffet was very good. Definitely recommended.

Stayed here a couple days this year over the holidays & everything was great, the staff are so friendly & helpful. Check-in can be done through the app if desired. The train into the city is a short walk across the street & about 20-30 into Notre Dame. Their signature scent is amazing & can be purchased in body wash & shampoo .. I wish they had it also in lotion though! The lobby area is modern & comfortable, nice to work in or grab dinner/drinks.

Horrible customer service. We sent several emails asking specific questions and they never answered. They just sent a generic email. We tried canceling 40 hours before, since they said we had a 24 hour cancellation, and they still charged us. We send emails again and no response. Better to find another hotel to stay at.

Although not a five star hotel, we certainly felt it was a five star experience! A short walk from the train station at terminal 3 of CDG, we had a wonderful overnight stay before leaving Paris for home. The hotel is new, very well appointed, excellent food (although a very short list of options) and fantastic, friendly service. If you haven't stayed in a citizenM, the room is no wider than a king size bed (which fills one end of the room, and perhaps twice as long. It feels like a ship cabin, with just enough room for a shower, sink and toilet. But the blackout shades and lights are electronic controlled and the shower had wonderfully generous water volume. Wonderful sound proofing as well.

This is an "ultra pod" hotel. The rooms are clean and best of all, quiet. I am sick of hotel rooms that allow slamming doors. Even at the Ritz and Four Seasons you experience this. CM has solved the problem with a soft close door. Perfect! Reason for single star removal was their pricing model. They jack the price when area hotels are full and then the price for value model becomes absurd. At least if you measure the cost by the square foot.

We had an early flight home to the USA and drove in from Chenonceau the afternoon before. Electronic check in, with self passport scanning and self room key creation which double and luggage tags when you leave. Very comfortable lounge areas on the first floor. Central bar. Key locked elevators. Rooms are very small but everything you need. Great shower and water pressure. Free streaming movies. Black out shades and curtains. Would be perfect for business travel, good prices Minutes from terminals Very highly recommended Slainte

4 stars... Until you enter the room. Felt like a bit DORM room, ship bunk. I did appreciate the tv that u can cast to from your phone. Lighting was also fun, use a tablet provided. Lobby is spacious and fun. Room was claustrophobic and not fun. Washroom a few feet from the bed, not good.

Since I had an early morning flight I knew I wanted to get as much rest as possible beforehand and staying in Paris just wasn't going to cut it. I booked at CitizenM at CDG and got a great rate. The hotel is new and modern. The check in and out process was quick and simple as well. As it was the first time I stayed there the staff walked me through the whole process and explained everything. I also really like that you keep the key fob so when you check into other CitizenM hotels you can use the same key. The room was just the right size for staying overnight and was well planned out. The bed was soft and cozy and the bathroom was fun and quirky yet big enough to move around in. We are dinner at the cafe since the prices were comparable to that of the average Parisian restaurant. The food was amazingly good. It was fresh and prepared to order and they even went out of their way to substitute an element my spouse couldn't eat. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

Stayed here January 3-5 2017. We really got in around 2am due to delayed flights and it was about 8€ Uber ride from terminal 2. Normally it's a short walk to the tram in terminal 3 but the tram shuts down at midnight. The rooms are small but very efficient and staff is helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed and very nice shower. iPad room controls is a neat twist and lots of free entertainment options on the tv/radio. The only drawback was that we found the food to be very expensive and not very good. 2 bowl of watery tomato soup and 2 bowl of simple salad with one juice cost €34. Unfortunately you have minimal options given that the airport food is similar cost though probably better options for the dollar. There is a small fridge in the room so recommend bringing food from the airport.

Booked this hotel because website exclaimed that it's so close to,the airport that it doesn't need a shuttle--true only if you know how to get there. We arrived by train in the evening and tried to find our way to the hotel. We tried to follow their instructions, used google and Apple Maps, and ended up taking a taxi because we couldn't figure it out. Getting to the airport from the hotel the next morning was relatively easy in the light of day and some specific directions from hotel staff. The rooms are small but sufficient for a night. Huge bed surrounded by three walls would be fine for one, but for two people it's awkward to get in and out of the bed. Nowhere to set down and open luggage either. Large lobby / bar area was hopping when we arrived at 9pm. Available food is ok, nothing special.

Super-modern hotel with a youthful attitude. Starting with the automated kiosk check-in, the whole experience is "designed." I mean that in a good way. No hotel tradition is exempt from re-thinking. The room key? Take it with you, it's also a luggage tag. Check-in and check-out are via a touchscreen and they need minimal. Very straightforward. The restaurant is semi-self-service. And the staff is right there and well-trained in case you gave questions. Attitude: All the signs, menus, etc. are funny and smart. The rooms are small and feel like a dorm room but are so intelligently designed that it works. Everything is automated, smarthome style, but I think they went rather overboard. Quirky -- for instance, you can open the window blinds using a wall switch but not (as far as I could tell) via the remote ipad, and the other wall switches engage not-very-predictable lighting. Was very inexpensive for us (on an off Sunday). The food was surprisingly good -- even excellent -- considering that it's more or less cafeteria style. We had a cheese and charcuterie platter that was assembled well, with fresh, quality ingredients and there was plenty for two. A very convenient three-minute walk and you're on the airport train, minutes away from each terminal.

Rooms very very small. Felt like i was staying in a camper. Bed abutting wall so can only get in/out by climbing over your bed mate. Not ideal at 3 am. Room very stuffy despite setting temperature low and fan high. They did have an enjoyable shower Lounge was very cool. Probably what the 25 yo looking for. Not recommended for 50+ crowd

Was not really sure what to expect from this place. Read a few reviews before I booked it for an early departure from CDG. Pleasant surprise that it is actually a 5 minute walk from Terminal 3 Nice welcome and check in. Rooms are exactly as described, SMALL but contemporary with stylish features. Loved the Ipad for control of the room, only wish the Power and volume buttons were not soo close, I turned it off twice. LOL If your looking to meet and mingle with other guest the cocktail hour was a great place for that. Drinks were excellent and everyone was downstairs. Sat and played cards for a few hours to kill time. Breakfast starts early which was great as our flight was 0 dark 30. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This place is modern. It might be post-modern. I don't really know what that is. But it sounds like something that I should use to describe a hotel in Paris, and so I am going to do just that. Aside from being ultra-conveniently located just outside of the airport, across from the Hilton, the rooms definitely feel contemporary and clean-almost sterile. That can be a good or a bad thing, I suppose, but I really enjoyed the aesthetic personally. The space is a bit small, with a narrow hallway leading to a small area with a desk, and then a bed that occupies most of the room. It spans from wall to wall, top-to-bottom, and also meets the wall on one side. Underneath is a place to store your luggage, which helps to make the most of the otherwise limited space. As others have mentioned, the entire room is controlled by an iPad, from the lights, to the TV, to the temperature. I like my dwellings COLD, so I was disappointed that it had a minimum setting of 18 degrees, but what can ya do? It was February, I suppose. The room might be a bit small, but the convenience of running everything from a single hub is quite nice. I found the bed comfortable, and very spacious. The TV is set up for AirPlay, which was very convenient, and made rewatching GoT from my laptop a breeze. Additionally, the common area, such as the lobby and the bar, was absolutely buzzin' all night. I have never really seen anything like it. There are desks with iMacs, board games, and of course a restaurant and full bar. There were only two beers on draught, which was a bummer, but if there is one thing that I learned from my week in Paris, it is that you don't come to France for the beer. My only complaint stems from the fact that they claimed to have 24 hour food service, but when I came downstairs at 3am, I was told that I would need to come back at 6am, when they began serving food. I found this a major inconvenience, and the description of their offerings misleading, but I was much too tired and drunk to argue with them. I went back to my room and ate some of my souvenirs instead. C'est la vie.

Extremely slow check in. Booked over a week ago and can't find my booking. Nobody is helping. The guy at the front must be new this is my third time here and I'm more then dissatisfied. After a 5 hour drive

This was a super memorable, modern & visually pleasing place to stay. My original intent was finding a place close to the airport (you'll be a 2 minute walk from T3). Check in was exceedingly easy. The guest can check in independently by simply scanning their passport. Once scanned my Expedia reservation was recognized. There's English speaking staff close by should you need assistance. Also, your room key can be converted into a makeshift, sturdy luggage tag. Everything in the room is controlled by an iPad. This includes the blinds, TV, any room requests (such as opting for a late check-out), & the lighting option for the shower. I believe you can control the temperature here too, but to be honest I don't think it worked. Our room ran very hot. Two different scents of body wash & they're in huge pump bottles. Waterfall shower + customizable mood lighting is something I didn't know I needed in a hotel. Hubs & I vowed to return. I'd return due to the uniqueness, but that's only second to the epic breakfast buffet. Breakfast is done right in France yo. Buffet consists of pastries, yogurt, an assortment of meats & cheeses, fresh fruit, fluffy eggs, potatoes & your choice of a drink from the bar. Great cappuccino!

Ultra hip & modern hotel with electronic everything! There's electronic check in and the rooms are controlled by ipads--you can even turn the bathroom into a disco! This place has a colorful contemporary youthful vibe and is best suited for millennials, couples, and solo travelers. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially a front desk gentleman named Raouk? Rooms are smaller than normal hotel rooms, but as this location is pretty much an airport hotel where your stay is probably 1-2 nights, the space is efficient and actually really cosy. There's free movies to watch on a nice big flatscreen TV opposite the bed. Breakfast buffet consisted of fruit, yogurt, sausage, juices, eggs, and cereal. I'm excited they have locations worldwide and would definitely use them in another city!

Hello fellow travelers. I'm coming to you live from CitizenM Paris CDG where the scene is getting pretty desperate... It's 12:30am. I've been trying repeatedly to contact front desk all evening as nothing in my room has worked since the moment I arrived earlier this afternoon. I was assured it would be working by the time I returned tonight. It does not. You see, the entire room is controlled by an iPad. But in my pathetic situation the iPad displays "waiting to check in" and aside from the lights and window blinds I can't access any features of the room! And you might say, hey JD why don't you just get up and turn the tv on the old fashioned way or just adjust the thermostat with those tender thumbs of yours... well to go even further... THE TV HAS NO MANUAL BUTTONS ON IT. YES THATS RIGHT FOLKS A BUTTON LESS TV. AND A MANUAL THERMOSTAT DOESNT EVEN EXSIST IN THE ROOM. Hence why I'm curled up wearing three layers of clothes under the bedsheets and have plenty of malice and undistracted time to write all this bull shit out to you now. Because this is absolutely the worst joke of a hotel motel ive ever stayed in for the money and right now the motel 6 in Jersey is looking pretty damn cozy. TRAVELERS BEWARE : CITIZENM IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. AND CITIZENM, YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AFTER TONIGHT BUT OH YOU WILL SEE MY REVIEW ALL OVER MY FEED TO THOUSANDS OF FOLLOWERS. ;) Sweet dreams from Room 414. Update: 10 mins after posting this review on Facebook the front desk called and asked if my iPad was working. L O L. I said no. They said they would be up to fix it. An hour has gone by and I've seen NO ONE. Its now 2am. So I guess while I wait I'll continue to share my review online. ;)

I had low expectations for an airport hotel, but this was surprisingly nice and modern! The rooms are very small but well-designed, and everything is very high-tech from the self-check in to the iPad that controls the TV and room. There is also a very lively bar scene, no doubt due to the fact that the rooms are so small. They also offer a buffet-style dinner, but I would recommend eating elsewhere if you're able, as the options are limited. Minus one star for the air-conditioning being broken in my room.

Great location, clean rooms, spacious bathroom, beautiful lobby and restaurant/bar area. The food was delicious and fresh and not expensive. I would return here. The rates are reasonable and worth checking out.

Arrived very late on a Monday night to spend 1 night and catch a connecting flight the next day. I found the staff to be exceptionally kind and attentive to my needs. I was able to order dinner very late from the canteen (and bring it up to my room, food is served on order and pick up until 2 AM). Breakfast is a bit pricey especially when the person visiting you (for whom you've dished out 17Euro for breakfast) decides to select a small croissant and a coffee. BUT it is well supplied with all the usual hotel fair and a few extras. The room is very comfortable. There's an entertainment system with a selection of curated movies for all moods. The bed is MASSIVE and comfortable as well. I called room service several times and was not disappointed. All in all a great experience and I will be sure to visit CitzenM hotels again in future. P.s. It was my birthday and my husband's experience setting up a surprise was very good. Staff were excited to set up the room and to give me and my baby daughter a pleasant surprise (Balloons and Macaroons... what else can a gal ask for!)

My 3 year old son and I stayed overnight due to missed flight. Staff was so friendly, room was huge and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Next time we come to visit we will definitely revisit citizenM. Thank you.

Alynah at the front desk had a great attitude. She was very welcoming. My stay was wonderful. The hotel was very trendy and would easily return again. Great staff all around. All of them deserve a raise!

citizenM is the future in hotel development. I mean, I'll be honest, it's not for everyone, but if you're looking for a nice big, comfy bed, clean bathroom, free wifi, yummy breakfast, and a fun and relaxed environment, this place will make you smile. Pros: + Convenient and easily accessible from Terminal 3 of CDG in a covered walkway. + Quick, fluid, painless self check-in + Affordable nightly rates starting around 70€ + Delicious fresh breakfast including croissants, pain au chocolat, crepes, salumi, fromage, sausage/bacon, fresh juices/milk/mint water, cereal, coffees and teas..BONUS: you can take it to go too! + 24/7 canteen so if you are feeling the munchies, you'll always have something to grab and go. + microwave! + ample desk and work stations in the lobby + cool, edgy, modern, minimal with pops of color to accentuate Dutch design + loads and loads of seating and they are ALL comfy + super comfy bed + rain shower head with excellent water pressure + free movies and tv + free wi-fi + 30 minutes by RER B into central Paris + friendly, accommodating staff + very clean + quiet rooms, even though you are at the airport Cons: - Those who love big rooms will not find it here. They are each about 12 sq. meters - Each room is identical - 2 persons max per room - Those who want to be super close to the city center should not stay here. - Those who are not technology savvy might get frustrated with the Samsung touch pad that controls all lights, tv, and room temperatures. Be patient and have fun with it! As you can see, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. For the business traveler, this is a great pod hotel that gives you all the luxuries that make your working life away from home that much more attainable without the exorbitant price tag. Even for the tourist who is looking to save on lodging in the City of Lights will love it too. Just make sure you purchase a Paris Visite pass or Navigo (depending on your length of stay), and you'll get to zip around the city in the metro and bus affordably! :) I'd advise that if you have lots of luggage that space will become an issue, but for Husband and myself, we each had a carry-on and there was ample space for the two of us to maneuver around. We loved staying here, and look forward to returning to this location for our future Paris visits, and to check out their other US/European destinations too!

Shitty customer service upon check in. Had to change rooms due to inop AC. 2nd room has same problem. Called down to have a fan delivered to room, and was told they don't offer fans. Clerk said it takes an hour + for ac to start working after checkin. After an international flight and needing sleep, it's impossible to sleep in this sauna. Had to be 10 degrees warmer in room than outside. Lobby was also overheated, no AC. Room is smaller than a cruise ship stateroom. Don't stay here unless you enjoy a hot, stagnant room, & poor customer service. A coworker was checking in the same time as I, and the self check in kiosk destroyed his credit card. It came out of the machine in pieces. The male clerk overseeing check in offered no apology or reparations.

We needed a place to stay one night before our flight home the next morning. Reviews led us to this newish and quirky place, just across the street (but not far) from CDG Terminal 3. It was not hard to find and the walk there, once outside the airport building, was just about 5 minutes. We were greeted by a friendly person who helped us through the process of making our room key using the QR code we had received by email. Our room was as every other review has described, small but pretty efficient. It was fun having the iPad to control the lights, TV, and window shades. We were very happy to be able to stream Netflix from our own devices so we could catch up on shows we had been missing from home. My only small complaint about the room is that there was really no counter space to put anything, and no space at all for an open suitcase, except the bed. I'm glad I was organized enough to pack the next day's clothes and my toiletries on top of my suitcase so I could just slip in there and get it. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were fine, not great. Next time we may try the Ibis hotel, which is closer to the terminal.

Cute room but if you're at all claustrophobic, stay elsewhere. Super tiny. Very comfy king bed. Toilet is in the shower. Rain Shower is fantastic. Lights and blinds are controlled from a iPad. Friendly, fast check in and check out. Adorable lobby/dining/bar area. A 5-minute walk from CDG. Very good buffet breakfast! Order ahead and save 3EU p/p.

Due to the train strike I found myself in Paris for a night and so needed a place to crash for the night before my midday flight home. This place is seriously awesome. After easily finding it (well lit up at night) I then had a smooth automatic check in, they even offered me two room view options ... I chose runway for the novelty and was stoked in the morning to actually see planes taxiing past my window! The rooms were perfect... Sure small 12m2, but who needs all that space, it is very efficiently used with the shower toilet unit together and the hand basin in the main bedroom area. The king size bed was super comfy, and light, blind, tv control was all via a Samsung tablet which was uber user friendly. The mood lighting was defiantly fun. Breakfast was brilliant, fresh food with a wide range of options, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, bacon, eggs, crepes, fruit juices... The list goes on and on... I totally recommend this hotel to anyone passing through. It really was a highlight!!

We stayed here in Aug 2015. Marvelous common area downstairs. Mimicking a persons great room at home. Library books. Ultra modern rooms. Excellent location, nearby mall for shopping via convenient shuttle.

Yep. That's the hotel you want to stay at if you have to stay overnight in the airport, paid 81 box, just followed the signs in the airport. Once on your way out of the airport, follow the park axterix sign, a 5-minute walk, the Hilton hotel is on the right, go straight and here you are in the hotel. Great customer service, food was meh, not my style, but the place was gorgeous and clean! Check the pics so many great things to say about CitizenM. Customer service also got better at cdg airport, used to be dreadful, I was there at night, so not so sure it improved :(. Anyway I recommend citizenM, a refreshing oasis in the deserted and not so customer-oriented cdg airport. I was just so exhausted when I made it to CDG, it was a great place to rest. Easy to find, comfy and clean, and not expensive.

On the positive side, the hotel is very easy to get to though not so easy to find. It is an easy 500m walk from Terminal 3 but it is not sign posted at all so you will probably have to ask someone to point you in the right direction. There is no shuttle because it is so close to the terminal. Room was perfectly quiet and the shades kept annoying morning light from waking us up too early. Hotel is hyper-mod, modern and high tec. Even check-in is automated at a kiosk where you simple scan your passport, prepay the room with a credit card and receive your roomkey. However, it didn't work for us and a human had to check us in. The small awkward minimalist rooms carry these theme upstairs. Things are tight with much use of plastic furnishings. The bed, a very large one, is squeezed into the room, right up to the walls of the room on three sides leaving no room for end tables and making it difficult to get out of the bed. Again, the room is high tec with the lights, shades, and temperature all controlled by an iPad supplied to each room. The showers have no bars to stabilize the wobbly among us and the soap dispensers are cheap and difficult to pump. The restaurant is not very relaxing and the food is decidedly average. It is a loud and active place. Tasty ingredients are skimped on and while the dishes look like like they should they are not very tasty. The pad thai was mostly noodles and cabbage with few shrimp. My yellow curry turned out to be vegetarian with no curry sauce that I could taste, (though I have to admit that my wife could). The service is indifferent, except from a guy named Nash who covered for his colleagues and saved the meal from being a total disaster. On the whole, this modern, hip hotel will probably appeal more to young people older travelers may not appreciate all the technology, and might be as tolerant of the noise or the quality of the food.

My room was rather small and the dinner menu options in the bar were limited. Bar drinks were a bit pricey and after a certain time, you are required to order from the bar...no table service. The rooms were very modern and offered just enough space to take a 360* of the room lol.

We missed our flight last Tuesday so we had to stay an extra night near CDG. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since we were already paying extra for our missed flight. I found this hotel in hotels.com for $112! From terminal 2, walk all the way to the free airport CDGVAL train going towards terminal 3. Look for the exit with the citizenM name and walk straight across the street. You won't miss the hotel. Really cute hotel but the rooms are small. It's perfect for overnight stay for 2 ppl without a lot of luggage. We had 3 luggages and our handcarries and it was already cramped. The rooms were designed for 2 people max. This is not a family friendly hotel but good for a person traveling solo. There is one king bed in the room and no other bed options so be aware if you are in a business trip with a coworker and want to share a room. The bathroom although it looks translucent, you cannot really see the figure in the shower from outside and there is a curtain you can pull out should you prefer more privacy.

Loved that hotel. Def a romantic must loved how tech it is the LED lights on the bathroom super cool! Would stay again!

Although not inclined to believe that the Yelp app is often consulted for International destinations, I am nonetheless compelled to make an exception here. This very hip contemporary concept was quite a pleasant surprise! Booked in proximity to airport due to early next morning flight. Found excessively easy access via free airport transport and short scenic walk along covered path. Assisted self check in after entering chic cafe styled lobby/lounge/ bar area. Small but comfy contemporary /efficient room design featuring king size bed, iPad controlled window blinds, mood lighting and media, super efficient staff, stellar customer service. Ok, if that were not enough,now to the pleasant surprise! Firstly I must tell you that the purpose of my trip was business in Barcelona. My traveling through Paris was solely for the purpose of entertaining my increasingly more sophisticated and discriminating foodie palette. So Imagine my horror upon the discovery of the self serve 'Dinner Buffet' at CitizenM! On my last day in Paris! Oh hell no! But wait! Cringed, held my breath, took a look at the offerings, decided to spring for it, only 22 euros to loose. Absolutely Fantastic! After 2 days of concertedly seeking the best food in Paris One of the best meals I had! Breakfast the next morning was less exciting, leaning Western ala Continental breakfast while offering enough classic French touches to leave me content. A winner!
