We had a brilliant experience at this hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the tube station and with many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. ||The hotel is self check in, but two staff members offered assistance as we completed the process. You are able to select your room based on floor level, view etc. which is a great touch. We opted for a view of the Tower of London, which was stunning. The Shard was also visible in the background. ||The room itself was clean, comfortable and well-designed. It was not huge but had everything you need for a city break, including a mini fridge, toiletries and safe. The blackout blinds were great, and the option to choose lighting colours was fun! ||Breakfast looked great but being honest, felt expensive for the price point of the hotel. The in-house coffee shop was handy for drinks and pastries, and there is plenty of breakfast choice in the immediate vicinity. ||The rooftop bar is a lovely way to spend an evening. Drinks are quite expensive (£10 for a mocktail) and service was slow, but the views of the London skyline were superb. ||Check out was easy and again, colleagues were on hand to confirm we had enjoyed our stay, and help if needed. ||Thanks citizenm. We’re already planning our next visit!

Exceptional Stay with Stunning Views! Booking was a breeze thanks to their seamless online system, and the detailed map from the train station made finding the hotel effortless. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—their warmth and professionalism truly set the tone for our stay. Our room was spotless, cozy, and offered an incredible view of London right from the window (perfect for morning coffee or evening city lights!). The location couldn’t have been better for exploring, and every detail felt thoughtfully planned. Highly recommend for anyone visiting London—this place is a gem!

Everything about our stay here was phenomenal. The team went above and beyond to deliver five-star service with warmth and efficiency. The food blew us away — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We loved how there was always something going on, from poolside games to live evening shows. Our room was pristine and tastefully designed, making it a perfect place to unwind. The entire hotel was immaculate, and the atmosphere was both luxurious and relaxed. Located close to key attractions yet away from the noise, it offered the perfect balance. I would return in a heartbeat — a true standout hotel.

I can confidently say this hotel deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and valued. The service was impeccable — quick, friendly, and professional throughout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully furnished with a view that took our breath away. Dining was an absolute pleasure, with a wide variety of delicious, freshly prepared meals. The entertainment each evening added so much fun to our stay, from live music to themed events. The hotel was immaculately clean in every corner, and the overall atmosphere was calm, classy, and relaxed. Everything, including the prime location, exceeded expectations. Truly a perfect stay.

What an incredible hotel! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff’s hospitality set the tone for a wonderful stay. Every corner of the hotel gleamed with cleanliness, and our room was stylish, spacious, and serene. The food was on another level — each meal full of variety and flavour. Evening entertainment was top-notch, with something enjoyable for all ages. We were also impressed by the location, which gave easy access to beaches and attractions. The atmosphere was both elegant and welcoming. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.

Google
The hotel in general is brilliant. Great staff, good vibe, lovely food and drink. The rooms are too tech focused, leading to some glitches and lack of air con during a heatwave. However alternative rooms were made available for us and complimentary breakfast for the duration of our staff made up for this. Location is excellent.

Very small but clean. Regulated AC ( which is surprising for England) . Interesting layout of room. Glass wall between the bathroom and bed. Low areas are communal down stairs. Decent bar and breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had some weird art but I'm sure that changes with the rooms, at least I'd hope so.

We loved our time at Citizen M. The Staff and lobby experience was amazing! We ate some light lunch at the hotel and the food was great!. The team went above and beyond for us and helped in as many ways as they could. The beds were very comfortable and rooms clean. Good location for getting to the top things to do in the city also.

Yelp
An absolutely perfect hotel so solo or business travel. The location cannot be beat - it's literally on top of the Tower Hill Underground station. Walking distance to the Tower Bridge, Bridge Theater, and Borough Market make it a great hub for exploring the City of London. I stayed for a single night, and almost wished I could have stayed for another, instead of moving on to my next reservation. Check-in and check-out was seamless and self-service - it's all done through iPads, with staff nearby if you need any help. You are able to select the room type available when you check-in (city or tower view, low or high floor etc), and pay for any extras such as breakfast. I didn't get the breakfast, but it looked worth it to me, as it was buffet style and included a free barista-made coffee. (I have stayed at the citizenM Boston and it looks like the continental breakfast offered may be standardized across their chain. I personally liked the ones I've had) The room is controlled using an iPad - you can turn on the lights, control the blinds, connect to the TV. The one qualm I've had is I don't really like the iPad stand. The charger juts out of the bottom and you have to slot it directly on top of it to "lock" it in place. It's an attempt to be tech-forward, but I would prefer a touch screen panel in the wall or a real remote control - it sort of feels dated. This is the smallest of critiques because it's really not an issue. The citizenM app you can download also offers some nice function like checkout, light control etc. Comfy, large beds, lined up against the window. Stunning view that makes waking up early completely worth it. I really appreciated that the room had a variety of outlets - including both a standard UK outlet and a standard American outlet. I had forgotten my convertor but this was a lifesaver. The desk is a tad tiny, but they let hotel guests work in the large coworking space in the lobby. WiFi was decent and fast enough for working and taking conference calls. The bar on the 7th floor has panoramic views of the Tower of London and river behind it. Was very refreshing to grab a cocktail and unwind up at the top.

Yelp
RIGHT THERE WHERE LUXURY & AFFORDABILITY BLEND TOGETHER CitizenM offers everything in one. Right in the heart of London. Step out of CitizM for a stroll OR train ride, beside is the Tower Hill Tube Station/Stop. This's priceless! Right from your window grace that magnificent view of the Tower of London. No dull moments for guests who want to take a relaxing walk along the Embankment and nearby Thames path. The exceptional customer service and professionalism of staff is next to known. So friendly, warm, helpful and welcoming. I felt at home and was treated as royalty. The high quality furnishings, interior décor; excellent and spacious dinning rooms, full English Breakfast in the morning and quality, delicious and affordable dinners served with great love and hospitality. Rooms well-equipped and many featured designer bathrooms and high-end toiletries. Couldn't be happier, CitizenM is 'HOME AWAY FROM HOME?" Looking for a 5STAR Hotel that's affordable but luxurious when you are London, look no farther, CitizenM is it!!!!

Yelp
Shoutout to Joseph and Sven (Syed?) for converting us into citizenM loyalists. We've been to the Washington DC citizenM and we thought that was great - we were WRONG! This one is superior. Rooms are cozy and for two 20-something's they are more than enough. Views on the outside perimeter of the hotel are fantastic, and the views from the balcony are better. We had breakfast here 4 times, phenomenal. PROS: Location, views, great food, clean room, kind staff, free luggage storage, unbeatable vibes, iPad controls works as intended. CONS: Had to go to lobby for drinking water, and cocktails on the balcony are expensive (~£18 each). Overall, would recommend to anyone staying in London. We truly had a 10/10 stay and would gladly come back!!!

Yelp
We loved our stay at CitizenM Tower of London. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the room was nice (we stayed in an accessible room due to a disability) and the hotel overall was nice. The reviews about the AC are accurate. AC was nonexistent during our stay. We weren't hot but it was so stuffy with no air movement. Other than that we were really happy.

Yelp
Longest wait. 100 degrees. Terrible hotel. Food is absolutely disgusting. Would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy (would be even too gross for them) The fact they charge the price they do for the services they provide is INSANE. Im disgusted and will not be returning to this 3rd world country because of this hotel.

Yelp
Beautiful rooms and living room area. Convenient pantry and bar. Negatives - food and air conditioning. Do not get the ramen, has no salt, no broth, no egg. My rooms air conditioning suddenly stopped and which made it hot and hard to sleep. When I called the front desk, they said it happens all the time and the repair man will check in the morning.

Yelp
Felt like home! Location! Location! Location! Face it..... there are hundred of hotel options when you Google London hotels. But trust me, I would stay nowhere else, but the citizenM. There hotel os directly beside the Tower Hill tube stop. A very quick in and out for exploring. I mean, steps away! This is priceless! You will be directly beside the Tower of London. You can see it from your window! Now let's talk food..... there is a full, true English Breakfast, every single morning. Plenty of seating so you can relax in the common areas, or covered patio, while you plan your day. The staff are incredible! Some of the nicest folks we met on the entire trip Our airline lost of luggage, and the staff went out of the way to help us gather necessary supplies. It was a priceless bonus to have such caring people to welcome us back, every single night. The hotel is casual, yet homey. Yes, the rooms are small, but isn't every London hotel room? Can't beat the price! King sized bed!!! Funky lighting options, a huge window to bring in natural light, a rainfall shower head, comfy towels...:.: trust me, you'll feel a bit of luxe for the budget price. Until next time, citizens

Yelp
Would give this chain 0 stars if I could. First hotel at Victoria had no running water. Toilets wouldn't flush, etc. They we're working on it for hours and seemed to think it wasn't too big of a problem. Really?! No toilets! Never mind a shower. Got transferred to the Tower location. They did pay for our taxi. Check in an was told the Tower M isn't as nice as the Victoria. ?? Asked if we're paying the same. Yes. And our room faces the garbage cans. Get to room and there's hair in the bed. Bed is a board. If you have back trouble, this is definitely not the place for you!! Won't be back.

Osso P.

Yelp
AC is useless. Doesn't move air or cool the room at all. Moved to another room. Same issue. Don't stay here.

Yelp
Located on London's South Bank, you will find this well-appointed boutique hotel that features rooms with wall-to-wall windows, kingsize beds, and some modern accommodations in which you control the features of your room with a tablet. The room I stayed in offered an incredible view of the Tower of London. It was a treat to wake up to the beautiful view every morning. Now, their rooms are compact (172 square feet) but citizenM has put some serious thought into packing a punch with their amenities. For example, they offer a slew of movies on demand and free, speedy WiFi. They offer mood and ambient lighting that you may adjust to help you fall asleep or wake up. Their common areas are beautifully appointed public spaces that you want to lounge in. The bar at the top of the hotel is worth the views, offering a laid back vibe with requisite cocktails - Gin & Tonic anyone? The location is perfection; located right across from the Tower of London and a tube and DLR station. The beds were super comfortable. The service and catering for our conference sessions held at the hotel were also impressive.

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel for a week while on vacation. I took the train from Heathrow and as promised it was right next to the Tower Hill underground station exit. I walked into the hotel and was immediately greeted with the very stylish lobby decor. Check in was located at the center of the lobby and one "ambassador" was there to help, as the computer terminals were being finicky. This went smoothly and I went up the elevators to my 3rd floor Tower view room (that I did not pay extra for). The room itself was about the size of a shipping container, with the XL bed spanning wall to wall. Floor space is at a premium and the provided closet space is inadequate. My suitcase did not fit in the drawer provided under the bed so I constantly had to Tetris the room around. Eventually, I worked out a system and made the most of the space I had. They allow maximum two people per room, and I highly recommend that you get along with the person you are sharing with because you will have zero privacy together. You can hear the other person in the restroom while they do their business. You can see their silhouette while they shower. The toilet is in an enclosed space with the shower separated by a very thin and much too short shower curtain, such that the floor by the toilet will have a puddle. While ignoring the space constraints, this hotel would be completely fine for a solo business traveler, or someone just coming by for the night. They provide basic amenities but they do it well. The XL bed is sturdy and comfy. The TV has free movies, programs, and porn (yes, free full length features). There is a teeny mini fridge with bottled water replenished daily. My only complaint with the amenities is that they do not provide lotion and conditioner unless you go downstairs and demand it. There is no room delivery of amenities whatsoever, there is no room service. As far as the "tech" component of the stay is, the iPad seemed cool at first but kept glitching out randomly. The first night I was there, the movies were inaccessible. Sometimes, the mood light could not be controlled with the touchpad unless you turned all the lights off then back on. The blinds got stuck. Etc etc. Whoever said that this hotel was on the central line is wrong. The hotel is on top of the Circle and District lines. As far as noise goes, I did hear some traffic noise so it's not completely soundproof. With the blackout curtain, it did end up being completely lightproof. As far as justifying the tiny rooms with common area use.. I can't recommend this. The downstairs lobby was almost constantly packed with business types who may or may not have been other guests especially in the afternoons around rush hour. I suspect that people who work nearby come here to kill time before heading home to avoid peak time on the trains. So overall excellent for access to a tube station, cool hip decor/design, and bed size/comfort. Thumbs down for stinginess with amenities, random people hanging out in the "living room," and the very pocket sized room.

Yelp
Nestled just above the Tower Hill underground station, citizenM is a tech savvy, spacious and modern hotel. Pros: 1. Lobby is vibrant, huge, with cafes, bars, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. 2. Rooms are huge and full of tech including Apple home kit with powered curtains, blinds and lights, mood lighting all controlled by an iPad and giant bathroom with rain shower. 3. Movie selections (some that are still in theaters), all the channels you need and porn for free. 4. Underground tube is right downstairs. 5. Staff is very young, kind and helpful. 6. They are very lax with late checkout and it's cheap to extend several hours. 7. Their very own iron room. Cons - there are none. CitizenM is just awesome.

Yelp
Just got back from spending most of the past week in London. During that time, we stayed at the citizenM Tower of London location. This is an interesting and unique hotel with a location that can't be beat! (+) Location, location, location. Literally a 5 minute walk to the Tower of London and a 1 minute walk to the Tower Hill tube station. Yes, one actual minute! lol This made getting around London a LOT more convenient. (+) Rooms are cozy and quaint. You can operate everything in the room using the iPad. This includes blackout curtain control, TV, lights, and even "mood lighting" for the shower! (+) Staff was always very nice and friendly. Very good service provided. They were quick to assist me with check in and made the process quick and painless. (+) That bed is easily one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in years. I got some fantastic sleep whilest in London. (+) there are a LOT of seats and sofas and common areas where you could hang out and relax. (+) Free Wifi. 'Nuff said. (+) 2 bottled waters per day are complimentary. (+) You actually have an empty fridge to use for your stay! This was very convenient. (+) Excellent showers! Again, some of the best I have experienced in my travels. Great pressure and very responsive to a change in settings. (+) Lots of free TV and movie options! Like a ton! ....and this is the only place I have ever stayed at where they had a moderate selection of porn available ..lol....and for free... not that I would watch such things! ;) (-) The iPad could get touchy every now and then and we would accidentally blast the TV or send the curtains going up or down. Was annoying at first until we adapted. (-) you better be pretty tight with any other occupants of the room, because the toilet has no real barrier from the shower it directly faces other than a shower curtain. lol (-) Rooms are small but cozy IMO. 151 sq. feet to be exact. (-) no bottle openers in the rooms or available to borrow for the evening. although you can just walk to the bar and they will let you use theirs right there, but that's not terribly convenient. As you can see, the good far outweighed the less than good here and I would definitely recommend citizen Tower of London when staying in this magnificent city! 4 solid stars! Yay! I'm a fan.

Yelp
The location is great, and the staff is very friendly. That said, the rooms are HOT! To the point that sleeping is difficult. My wife and I didn't use the blankets once. We called the front desk, and their reaction seemed to be "yes, that's just a thing here." If you like sleeping in a hot room, this place is perfect. It affected our sleep every night though.

Yelp
During the recent London heatwave it took them 6 hours to pay attention to our complaints about no aircon. They finally moved us at 11pm and then offered a tiny refund. During this 6 hour period they were consistently rude

Yelp
Stunning views. Comfortable bed. Great location!! The Sky bar is also v good. What else could you ask for?

Yelp
I have to start with the positive, the location is great, there is easy self check-in and a superb rooftop bar overlooking the Tower of London. However, that's really where the greatness ends. The lobby, which is your shared space, is now showing wear and was overrun with locals using it as a home office so rarely was there space to stop and unwind. The rooftop bar is great for the views and there was usually standing room to be able to grab a cocktail and relax. Three out of the six days we were in town there were locals hosting happy hours so again there really wasn't a lot being offered for the hotel patrons. The hotel promotes the area for local businesses and entrepreneurs to host small gatherings and shared workspace. Now for the biggest compromise and the reason I am going with only 2 stars, the room experience. Everything is controlled by a first generation iPad mini and over 50% of our stay the functionality was ok to poor. We often found ourselves having to use the master switch to be able to get everything turned off so we could go to bed. Because the rooms are small you want room service in daily or for sure every other day, it was extremely disappointing when sadly the Earliest our room was completed by room service was 3:30PM. The service was extremely late and inconvenient. Most days we arrived back to freshen up only to find we had no clean towels and the room was untouched. Overall I would recommend if you are traveling alone and want a great location, but don't care for service and don't mind being in small spaces. This was not close to a four star experience.

Yelp
There is security dressed in regular clothes, heather gray sweater and had ear pods in... very rude and argumentative. We are touring the city and walked in because there is a coffee shop up front and very colorful seating decor in the waiting areas. So, we wanted to walk around to view the hotel. This very rude security greeted us by saying: this is a private hotel for guests staying in the hotel only. How do you expect to generate future revenue/ guests by rudely dismissing potential sales in the future. Rude is one thing but to be accusing and argumentative is rude. We are courteous and professionals, not bums. It is 9:31 am. Why be so rude, so early in the morning ? He ruined the karma for city M on this day.

Yelp
After 12 hours flying and dealing with the maze at Heathrow airport, my son and I were done for the day (we arrived at the hotel around 10 am). My room was available for early check in! Staff here are fantastic. The room had an amazing view of the Tower of London. The 7th floor bar has great food.

Yelp
OMG!! Seriously one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. My husband I stayed here in September of 2016 for our 1 wedding anniversary. The service was to die for! The self check in was easy and pretty cool. If you needed help - there were plenty of people around to help, but the process was pretty easy. The bar overlooking the city and right across from the Tower of London was the best! Drinks were great and service was unforgettable. Our favorite bartender (Jacko) never let us see an empty glass. He was the coolest guy! I hope when we visit again he will be there *fingers crossed* The manager was also great. We saw him nearly every night and he would always say hi. So friendly! We really enjoyed ourselves here and because of the stay at the Tower of London we will probably be checking out the other CitizenM's across the world as well. Way to go Tower of London crew...you all are amazing!

Yelp
Great stay in London. Rooms are small but have great amenities (hello king sized bed!!). Check in was easy and quick. Loved the option to pay a little more for late check in (did this and was worth the money to come back and shower before leaving). Would stay here again without a doubt!

Yelp
I got to stay at the citizenM for a couple days on a press trip, and it's one of the best hotel experiences I've had to date. The one downside is the size of the rooms; they're fairly small and compact, with some irregular modeling choices (i.e. the sink is in the hallway, the bed is fully against the window). It may be tough to share with another person, so they're ideally suited for one. Otherwise, I found them to be comfortable and modern, with an iPad that allows you to adjust the lights, blinds, and TV. The bed was comfy King and the bathroom is a decent size with shower. Check in and check out is very easy, and can be done entirely at the computer kiosks in the lobby. Staff is very helpful and available at all hours; even though conditioner is not available by default in the rooms, you can ask them for a complimentary bottle. Also enjoyed the Breakfast option, which comes included with each stay. It's well stocked across all hours that they operate, and has a great selection of warm foods, cereals and yogurt, and bread and pastries.

Yelp
A great lesson in creative smart room design and chic modern interior design. Great service. No problems.
google avatar

Yelp
Come here for the splendid rooftop bar on the 7th floor. It might not seem that high, but it provides a great view of London. The entire interior is chic, modern, and classy. It was a nice spot to grab a drink and absorb the views throughout our day. Even the downstairs lobby was comfy and vibrant.
google avatar

Sophie S.

Yelp
The 7th floor bar has a nice terrace and pleasant nook just steps from the Embankment tube station. The view is fantastic along with cozy sofas for an afternoon of work or relaxation.

Yelp
This place is so cute. Came here for a meeting and absolutely loved it. Adorable decor!!!

Yelp
I stayed here for business for a week, and I was satisfied. The hotel rooms are very small, and the sink is in the middle of the room, which I didn't really like. The rooms are like small pods, but that makes them great for sleeping because they get super quiet and keep out the light. The lights, tv, curtains, etc are controlled by an iPad which is convenient because you don't have to get up at all but also frustrating if there are glitches. The staff is helpful and the hotel seems very clean. I wouldn't stay here with a group or more than 2 people but good for traveling solo. They also have a coffee bar downstairs which is good and it's right next to the tube so it's easy to get to.

Yelp
Everything about this hotel is overdesigned, unnecessary and overall unpleasant. From counterintuitive iPad apps in the room to a weird communal ironing board (that was nigh unusable unless you are a practiced wizard with a mounted steam iron), this CitizenM hotel is a product without an audience. Ostensibly pitched as a hotel for business people, they seem to go out of their way to make things harder for people traveling on business. The staff was friendly, which is great, but this is not the hotel experience you are looking for. Should have stayed at the DoubleTree around the corner. The vibe of the hotel reminds me more of Logan's Run than a modern bastion of comfort. Everything is just a bit... off, and you'll find yourself wondering, 'is it just me?' Here's some help. It's not you, it's them. Pass on this and find something that asks less of you as a guest.

Yelp
We loved citizenM! This is absolutely a millennial's dream hotel. The check-in process was a breeze as you simply walk up to a computer, check yourself in and make your own room keys. As a bonus, you get a free drink ticket for one of the hotel bars (my advice is to to the the 7th floor bar as it offers a beautiful view of the Tower of London). There is an attendant there for anyone who needs assistance. The rooms are small but flawlessly designed to take advantage of every inch of space. The bed....simply wonderful. I wish I could have taken the mattress with me. The absolute best part of the stay was the technology integrated room control. You can literally control every aspect of the room from an iPad. I'm talking the television, blinds, lighting, alarm clock, etc. If we are ever back in London we will definitely stay at citizenM as well as seek them out for upcoming travels.

Yelp
Our second d time in this chain hotel. Its perfectly situated with excellent staff. I really do have an issue with room layout but that aside of you get this at a good price then it's about as good as it gets

Yelp
When traveling, you may not spend a ton of time in your hotel room. Or, you shouldn't. However, it can definitely be a make-or-break decision if you end up staying in the wrong place. It's a lot less fun to see the sights during the day if you've spent the night in an uncomfortable bed, with tons of noise interrupting your slumber. If you stay at citizenM, rest easy. You will have a super comfortable bed (that's gigantic), a quiet environment, and a bunch of other features that make your stay feel just a little bit more like home. Each room comes equipped with an iPad that allows you to control the lights, television, and environment. You can also hook up your own device so that you can stream Netflix to the TV. Staff is friendly, and they've put in place processes to make things like checking in and out less painful. If you're traveling by yourself or with a significant other, this hotel is perfect. It's also on the Central Line, making travel around London super convenient--literally walk out the door and you're at the Tube entrance. If you're traveling with a friend, like I was, it might be a bit cramped. It's one large room with a frosted glassed-off section for a bathroom, so showering/using the toilet can be a little awkward. The room is small (which I knew going in), so it does force you to become really good friends, really quickly. That's not the fault of the hotel, there are tons of pictures available of the rooms online--we just wanted to save money and figured we could tough it out during our stay. It worked, we were just both happy to make it back to our own homes at the end of it.

Yelp
I was very excited to stay at CitizenM in Tower of London. I prepaid for a full week. Then, I had to cancel my trip due to airline delays which would make me miss my connecting flight. I canceled my hotel reservation the day before I was to arrive and it was too late to get a refund. I expected them to keep probably one day of fees, but they didn't give me a refund for any of the week. Around $1000!

Yelp
I thought the bar was closed on a Sunday but on this fab Sept Sun, this lovely bar on the 7th floor overlooking Tower of London was open - and what a gem! Few things I love about London - combination of the old and new - great views of The Shard & Tower of London complimented by fab cocktails from bartender Matteo (originally from Milan) - makes this hotel the must-visit this Autumn. Dutch-Indian owner Rattan Chadha got the concept right - no fuss, solid quality, individualism is the name of the game - great hotel that embodies what Europe is all about - people, friends, loving and living !

Yelp
What more can I say about this place that hasn't already been mentioned in the numerous 5 star reviews from fellow yelpers. This hotel is absolutely amazing and made my trip to London an absolutely wonderful experience. If you are a tech-savy individual, you'll love this hotel. To check-in, you merely walk up to a touch screen, make a few clicks (based on availability, you can pick if you want a room with a high/low ceiling; what type of view you want, etc.) and boom you're set. You even make our keys through the touch screen computers and they can double as luggage tags when you check-out. After checking-in, take the lifts to your room and be amazed. We got a room with low ceilings and a view of the adjacent Tower of London Castle. If the above seems too daunting, don't worry! There is staff there to walk you through the aforementioned if needed. And the best part, they are all extremely nice. Upon entering the room, it was like entering a trendy night club/bar as there are customizable smart lights that turn on (I think it is automatically set to a purple/red color when you first enter), which you can control with a few swipes on the iPad located on the night stand. Like the lobby, the decor of the room is chic, modern but minimal, and very trendy. Books like the Great Gatsby and cool artwork added a really hipster vibe to the room and was much appreciated. Like the smart lights, everything in the room is accessible via the iPad. You can adjust the blinds, the temperature, the television, set an alarm, etc. all with a few swipes. Want to feel like you're in the amazon when you shower? Don't fret because this place has those wonderful waterfall shower heads. I felt like Usher in the "U Got It Bad" music video (where he dances in the rain) everytime I took a shower here. The King size bed was huge and while the room was small--reminscent of a luxury studio apartment--I never felt like I needed more space. There was also a small table and bench for your sitting needs. Because of the techy aspect of this hotel, there were even two USB ports and a U.S. power socket if you forgot to bring one of those U.K./EU converters things. Those USB ports were a life saver. Amenities: huge lobby with sofas, lightening fast free WiFi in your room and thoughout the hotel itself (wish they encrypted/protected the network though), a rooftop bar/lobby bar (didn't get a chance to check out the roof top bar but was told it had a dope view of the castle/city), a limited 24 hour market with drinks/packaged foods/and fresh cooked meals during meal times, a fast but expensive dry cleaning/laundry service (4 items costed me like $30-40 USD), and a barista who makes bomb mochas w/ some really good pastries. If you don't mind walking, there is cheaper coffee in neighboring cafes but the convenience of getting a mocha in the morning without going anywhere far was worth it to me. Now the best part of this hotel: location to the tube. You are literally next door to the Tower Hill station (it's gets busy during rush hour FYI) and can do pretty much all of the touristy stuff with ease. London's metro system is amazing and efficient and being within a few steps to the tube made my experience here great. Also, you are literally a 10-15 minute walk to Tower Bridge and surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. You can also UberEats/Deliveroo yourself food with ease here as there are countless surrounding places to grab a bite if you are feeling lazy. The area itself is also super safe and has a lot of business looking people in the day time. Book here you won't regret it. I am definitely coming back to London in the future and this will be my first choice; however, there is also two other Citizen M's in London and both of those are in good locations relative to the tube. I am excited to checkout the Citizen M in Amsterdam/Glasgow! Lastly, the rate for this 4 star hotel is reasonable and totally worth it.

Yelp
The staff here is awesome! They really go out of their way to make the traveler feel welcome and the rooms are awesome! They have on-demand movies and music in the rooms and even have mood lighting. I would definitely stay at another CitiezenM property on my next travel adventure!

Yelp
in general i liked the place - most people worked there from europe were pretty nice cant say the same thing about the locals who works there tho - been standing at the top floor bar for a good 10 minute and this bartender just completely ignored me and doing some tedious i dont know what the whole time (check out the video) - i m not sure if this brixit head didnt know about customer service (which is the job he's on) or he just didn't care for foreigners (at a hotel bar of all places) either way - he needs to be fired

Yelp
Citizen M appears a welcoming space--open floor plan, lobby cafe--but winds up to be picky about its customers and exclusive with its rooftop bar, which is only for hotel guests, rather than interested locals. Will not be returning to work or grab coffee as have frequently done previously. Disappointing.

Yelp
We've stayed at CitizenM Tower Hill location years in a row, and each time we've been impressed with the experience. The Canteen provides lots of food options throughout the day for minimal cost, the bar and bartenders is amazing, and the rooms are very comfortable. The location is next to the Tower Hill tube station as well, which couldn't be more convenient. If you stay, request ahead of time to have a view of the Tower of London; it really makes it special! I suppose the one thing that could be a drawback is that the rooms are small, no way around it. The bathroom isn't the most private thing in the world, so stay with someone you're completely comfortable with. But that said, the room has amazing touches- everything is controlled by an iPad which is fun and easy, tons of free movie options, a big bright window, and a truly comfortable bed. Highly recommend it all!
