It was just what we needed on a hot summer’s evening - a modern, quiet, spacious, very clean, air-conditioned room. We received a very warm welcome accompanied with an interesting discussion about human values! The hotel is located in a quiet street and within walking distance of the town. There is private parking for about a dozen cars in front of the hotel, so it would be wise to reserve in advance. There is no coffee/tea-making facility in the room, but breakfast is offered. There is no restaurant, but plenty of choices only 15 mins walk away. It was a perfect base to revisit this beautiful, lively and interesting town.

Great little hotel, excellent location, good room - extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, dining room was fine although a little lacking in ambience. That said, the staff were most efficient and helpful, and the check in/check out process swift and efficient. Overall very good.

This is a quiet enough hotel with some free parking.||Our room was very clean and the bed good, and the bathroom was great with a separate heater, a bath with shower over and good lighting.||But we had old maroon/red curtains, a turquoise carpet which needs changing and pillows like solid logs. There was no picture anywhere in the room, to visually break up the white wall. With very little investment and a few changes, it would have felt a lot more welcoming. Another slight gripe was that they took payment for the room and breakfast, on our arrival and not on departure. The breakfast was OK though simple and the coffee was sitting ready made in a percolator.||For over 100 euros a night we could have done better.

We had two unmodernised rooms (22 and 32) but they were fine and comfortable. This is a small hotel less than 10 minutes walk from the old town and therefore ideal if you're happy to walk around. Reasonably priced and with a charming hostess. The breakfast room has been modernised and works well, although there is scope for the offering to be made a little more interesting.

A small, very clean and practical hotel with off-road parking for 12 cars. Roughly midway (about 15 mins walk in each direction) between the rail station & the medieval part of town. No restaurant in the hotel apart from breakfast - buffet-style continental - but plenty in town centre. No excessive frills but everything worked well (free wifi, shower, TV) & the bed was comfortable. Helpful reception. The Museum of Art & Archaeology and the medieval part of town are worth seeing.

A very clean and functional hotel which was perfect as a reasonably priced base for touring the surrounding area, especially Lascaux. A generous sized room and comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Very nice hotel. The man on reception was very friendly and although he didn't speak English very well, tried very hard and did an excellent job. It was a heat wave when we were there and we were very grateful for an air conditioning room.

This modern apartment type block looks out of place in a 19th century street. I wonder how planning permission was ever granted? Arriving at the station at 12.10 the hotel was approximately a 12 minute walk away. The room was not yet available so I was directed to the Cafe de la PTT opposite the Hotel de Police at the end of the street for a luncheon. Thoroughly recommend this establishment for France as she used to be. The hotel room was perfect in every sense, modern yet chic with a lovely bathroom. However, the big drawback for me was continual clicking and ticking noises, footsteps seemingly of people walking around with high heels on carpet less floors and outside in the car park people chatting. I did get a good sleep as everything went silent by 11 pm. Personally I'd prefer to try elsewhere next time I'm in the historic city of Perigueux.
