Citrus Hotel Johor Bahru by Compass Hospitality

First of all, considering the cost and location, this hotel is excellent. It offers all the amenities a hotel should have, and they are well-maintained. We arrived two to three hours before the scheduled check-in time, and they offered us a choice: if we waited, they could provide us with a room with a window, but if we wanted a room immediately, they could give us one without a window. After checking, I found the room to be spacious enough with all the necessary features. The lighting was excellent, so I didn’t miss having a window. Overall, considering the service, hospitality, and professionalism, I would give them a perfect 10 out of 10. They were very professional, friendly, and genuinely hospitable.

Amazing stay!Super near to the mall so the ease of finding food and other amenities is great! The staff are super friendly and accommodating especially the doorman/security guard! Even the staff in-charge for breakfast was super nice! Love everything about this hotel will definitely book again! Room is very clean.AC is very strong too!Spacious room.Thank you Citrus!

I would give a 5 stars for the great attentiveness and services of the front desk but the room really cannot make it. It is very worn out and when I slept and woke up by the pungent foul smell of the sewage ( not sure came from where). It was good for overnight stay but definitely not recommended for comfortable stay cos the bed is worn too. Just my honest feedback.

We stayed in the family suite on a weekday. Staff were friendly as usual, greeting with a smile. Rooms have definitely been recently renovated. Toilet was big, bed spacious. There was even a couch, definitely an upgrade from the previous times that we stayed there. However, I just wished that they had a proper coffee table or some sort so it would be convenient for families with young children to spread out take aways or even play board games etc to keep them entertained in one area. Some might find the space between the beds and wall a little space constraint but if you were to overlook thay, overall it was still a good experience. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Great location as it is near the custom. The area is also full of eateries and very convenient to buy foods, with alot of 24H convenience stores. The staff are super helpfu;, friendly and the hotel and rooms are very clean, well maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and shopping at city square mall

Superb location just adjacent to City Square and neighbouring eateries! Rooms are adequate for overnight stays with bottled water, dental kits and slippers included. Rooms are not as sound insulated (didn’t bother us) because we are able to sleep thru it.

Rooms were a little small but it was nice. Thankfully my room was on the same floor as the breakfast area. The food was nice especially the Prata. Had an amazing stay here. Location is nice as the mall is just right opposite. Thanks for the stay

Reception counter staff are all very friendly with a cheerful smile at all times. Welcomed guests with a great attitude. My 4th times staying at this hotel. Without failed. The service standard is always there. Thumbs up guys.
