Orlando magical dining, fail! The seasonal salad with arugula was fine, but no show stopper, the toppings were very sparse, I think the pistachios were crumbs in the edge of the salad. The entree was the deal breaker for me, I seriously think a good portion of the menu is a classic example of a chef trying too hard and overdoing it, but this dish was a perfect example... The gnocchi was over done on the lemon and was bitter, it also did not have the traditional texture or consistency either. The beef pieces were tough, they were either a very bad section of meat or way overcooked. The sauce was overbearing; it was too sweet, it tasted sweeter than their homemade strawberry ice cream and overpowered all other flavors except that lemon. The brownie was good and the toasted marshmallow was a great touch.
The service was actually top notch- literally some of the best I've had in a long time, and we had to move tables because they seated us next to a large party and we couldn't hear ourselves or the waiter- the ambience doesn't have much for sound barriers or dampening, so you get what you get.
