Ristorante Cittadella Garni

Romatic Locarno Old Town ristorante, with a delicious menu and great wine selection. The service could be smoother and more rounded, but its still great. Enjoy the Lobster Pasta amongst many things!

The gnocchi with pumpkin were absolutely delicious, i would very much recommend! Nice atmosphere too and the staff seemed to be very nice as well.

Great food and service. The pizza and spaghetti is fantastic and our server was great and very accommodating.

Had a lovely dinner here. Starters and mains were delicious. Our fish dishes were made on the open grill, and both were very tasty. Outdoor seating on the little plaza is wonderful.

Nice restaurant and professional staff (although a bit too "stiff" for my taste). With some food I was delighted (carbonara), with some disappointed (salmon with potatoes and a LOT of butter, far too much). Dessert was a joke... I will give it another try and then I will maybe change my rating. For the moment it feels to me overrated regarding to food they offer.

Other restaurants in the area were fully booked but this place got a table. Service is rather slow but understandable with so many guests. The food we ordered tasted great though the pasta vongole had broken shells in it (for me almost a no go). Tiramisu is ok. All in all a good restaurant to go for.

Went in late evening (kitchen officially closed) - asked if they could serve a quick pasta. They accepted us. I ordered beat-root risotto. FANTASTIC! My wife had Porcini pasta - AMAZING! Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful, classy and friendly. This place offers a nice outside area for donning and a menu with the typical food of the region. The portions are well served and the waitress was super friendly. Totally recommend it!

Caveat: Have not eaten there yet. But the beauty of the churchyard terrace means we will be coming back for a try. See other websites for current English language reviews. We walked through the churchyard, unfortunately after eating elsewhere and immediately knew we had to try this place at some point. I only mention it here as a marker for Qypers as something probably worth trying if you're in the neighborhood. Churchyard is directly across street from actual restaurant and was eerily beautiful.
