Campsite easy to find. Reception opens at 3pm and check-in efficient. You are able to choose your own pitch. Pitches are on grass. You may have trouble finding a spare hook up as there doesn't seem to be one for every pitch. Shower block is tired but clean. The bar area is worth a visit as is the food truck. The city centre can be reached by waterbus. There are two options, a free one, which is a short stroll away or the nearer one which charges a euro. Both frequent. |The only negative about this site is that it is near an "events" site. Whilst we were there a techno music event took place. All I will say, is thank goodness it finished at midnight! To be fair to the site they did warn us well in advance this was taking place.

Great wee stop over in Antwerp on our way back home to Scotland after an exciting weekend watching our son run the Frankfurt Marathon. We arrived late Sunday evening, easy access via code for gate, picked our spot and parked up for the night. Great wee site with everything we needed, hot showers, water and waste. The site its self is steeped in a 60 year history and deffo worth a visit. Next day we checked out, left the van on the moho parking bays just outside then walked 500m to the jetty then hoped on the water bus. 1 stop away we were in Antwerp City Centre, we were amazed at the cost to use this service which was only €1 per person return. Great day sight seeing, walked to the famous DelRey chocolatier in the heart of Antwerp and bought some goodies, they look almost too good to eat, the chocolate and cakes were amazing. Lots of nice restaurants for food plus the obligatory Belgium Waffles 😍 Great site, excellent location to pitch up for some sight seeing, I've added some random photos, we'll definitely be back 🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🙏

This is one of my favorite camp grounds in Europe. The staff are so friendly, and the location is ideal to explore Antwerp and for those passing through town. The presence of a bakery on the weekends and the bar (open daily) are excellent. The restrooms, showers, and grounds are well cared for, and if there is a music event, they make sure you know and offer you ear plugs. There are great food options in the area, but the location also feels secluded for being so close to the city.

English – Extended Translation: A great, cozy, and affordable campsite located just outside Antwerp. From here, you can take the water bus straight into the city – it only takes 5–6 minutes, making it both convenient and enjoyable. The pitches are nice and green, but can feel a bit tight if you’re traveling with a larger motorhome, so keep that in mind. The campsite offers all essential facilities, including clean toilets and showers, stations for emptying greywater and toilet waste, waste sorting, and good access to electricity. A charming extra feature is the small bakery that is open every morning from 08:00 to 10:00 – perfect for picking up fresh rolls and croissants for breakfast. The pricing is very reasonable – just under 35 euros per night, including electricity. Note: It’s highly recommended to book in advance, as the site is often full, especially during peak season. A campsite I can wholeheartedly recommend for those wanting to combine a city visit with peaceful surroundings.

Absolutely disappointing experience – poor communication, bad service, and unacceptable facilities We booked an early check-in at City Camping Antwerp and were told we could enter the campsite at 1:00 PM. However, the reception was not staffed until 3:00 PM, and there were no instructions available on where to park. As a result, we had to repark our motorhome at 3:00 PM – just because of missing information. But that was just the beginning. The second pitch we were assigned to was poorly located: the power outlets were so far away that even a 30-meter cable wasn’t enough. So we had to repark yet again – all due to a complete lack of communication. Charging €10 for early check-in and then not being present to guide guests is outrageous and deserves zero stars if that were even possible. To top it all off, the men’s restroom facilities were unavailable for 45 minutes because the cleaning staff was on a break – for over 30 minutes. When we asked when the restrooms would be usable again, we were told to just use the women’s toilets. Seriously? That is absolutely unacceptable. Overall, this place fails at the basics of hospitality and service. We will certainly not return and do not recommend this site to anyone.

This is a great little site. It's perfectly placed to explore Antwerp while being on the other side of the river so you're not in the centre of town. The facilities are good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Make sure you bring a long CEE cable if you need electric as the boxes are over 10m from some pitches. It can be a little noisy as there is a site over the river that hosts events but overall I really enjoyed my stay here.

Perfect little camping to explore Antwerpen. The city is easy to reach by bike or with the "water bus" boats that stop right around the corner.

A lady greets you at the entrance, she is very successful in her job, very kind and friendly You can sit in the bar inside and have a drink, the showers are clean, but the toilets should be cleaned a little more often, otherwise the atmosphere and location are very nice, it is a perfect place to enjoy the sun and read a book.
