We liked it very much. Centrally located , two blocks from Ben Yehuda Street and Jaffa Street and light rail. Buses everywhere to everywhere. Room was clean, had a nice little kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was very nice and clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking King George Street and since the street was under major renovation there was no traffic and was very quiet. The doors to the balcony are double sets with a space between the doors that others have said help keep the room quiet even when there is traffic. The lobby is small but pleasant , there is some kind of coffee room on the basement which we couldn’t find. Amir and the staff were nice. We will be regular customers when we travel to Jerusalem each month. The price was good and basically the same some of the hostels we have stayed in in the area, but in our experience a much better room and better privacy than a hostel for the same price.

Location is excellent. Otherwise, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was in room 45 which has a foul odor that has soaked into the furnishings. I have never smelled anything that bad in my life. It was sickening. I was forced to spend the entire night in that room. Then they moved me to another room, which did not smell, but they have been outside cleaning and rearranging the furniture of the other rooms for about two hours. Is now 11 o’clock at night. I have called to complain. They keep saying that they’re going to stop and they’re still doing it. Slamming doors moving furniture & Dragging trash bags. It’s unbelievable.

Location is great. Everything else was terrible. They put me in room 45 which had a serious hygiene and odor issue. The smell was sickening. It did not go away. The next day they put me in room 65 upstairs which is a nice room, but it’s next to their storage and custodial facilities apparently? From 9 PM until 11:30 PM, their staff have been up there moving carts and furniture and brooms and mops and other equipment around from their storage room to this back room, which is right next to my room. Slamming big metal doors moving carts it’s awful. I started complaining at 10:30 PM because I couldn’t believe that they would be doing this for hours outside of my hotel room. And they refused to stop. In fact, even worse, they stopped at 11 o’clock. Said they were done and then came back at 11:30. I have never had this happen. I am livid. This place is disgusting and the people are rude.

The street the hotel was on is closed due to construction. We had to carry our luggage 2 blocks from the parking lot to the hotel. We should have been warned of the closed street when we made the reservation. The construction is a long term project and it was known at the time we booked this hotel.I am 74 years old and have a heart condition - I will pursue a refund or rate reduction for this trip. The 5 days spent in Jerusalem was a nightmare.I spent a huge sum of money for air fare, car rental and parking and was stressed out for 5 days. The best part o my trip was leaving Jerusalem!

This is the 2nd time we come to this gem hotel. Location: super central walkable and has bus connection to all over Jerusalem Room: Lovely. Super clean. With everything you need in it. Great shower with all toiletry, Great bed- very comfy and the sheets are the softest. Quiet: You cant hear the street as it has double glazing windows and on the top of it- another double glazing window. It seems they thought about every detail in this hotel to make your stay perfect Stuff: Lovely friendly stuff. We love you Amir We most definitely will be back for another vacation

Accommodations are very basic and a bit outdated. But the location is safe and convenient, and the room was clean. Great budget option.

The location is fantastic . It is very close to the light rail. Easy walk to the old city. It is a small hotel in an older building but it is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. We had a very good experience it was perfect 4 our needs.

Positive: Great location and no street noise on the 4th floor. Negative: The elevator is small and occasionally we had to ask for supplies.
