City Centre Motel

City Centre Hotel was excellent. We broke down in Bendigo with car troubles and ended up staying 6 nights. The staff were very helpful and flexible enough to allow us to book each night as the repairs dragged on. The rooms were cheap but comfy and clean and well equipped. Highly recommended .

Location is great, staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked one of the cheaper older rooms which was still perfectly fine, two beds, TV, fridge, bathroom. Fridge door was a bit creaky though, might need some WD40. Sadly the old 70s radio in the bed head no longer worked either. Besides that rooms were fairly well sound proofed and dark at night, plenty of parking, complementary fresh milk, decent sized TV. Again the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre of town and the cheaper rooms are great value. Would definitely stay here again but now curious about what I'm missing in the more expensive rooms. Sadly didn't take a photo of the room so have attached an interesting photo taken from across the road from the motel.

We had a very large room that was disability friendly. It was well appointed, very roomy and clean and modern. Huge bathroom with a shower chair, kitchenette with a microwave and large screen TV. The bed was very comfortable.

Check in was easy and smooth. They offered us 2 keys for the room, even though we would probably be together all the time. Free parking and just outside our room. ||We were in a basic room but it was safe, clean and warm so perfect for our needs. ||Quiet during the night so no issues with sleeping. The bathroom was adequate. Soap, shampoo and conditioner from dispensers. ||The location was great for our needs. Close to lots of restaurants and the gallery. Easy to get to the city centre.

My wife and I stayed at the City Centre Hotel during Easter for 3 nights and were really happy with our stay. The room was clean and LARGE and had a balcony. The staff were friendly, the service was great and the location perfect. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay again. Thank you SIMON

Always have a good stay here, come up every year. Always stay in the same room, which is next to the road so sometimes you do hear loud party goers coming home late at night Fri+Sat but otherwise pretty quiet. Love the large spa bath. Room always clean

A good sign was when we were given a small fresh milk for our tea/coffee. The room we had was sizable and the bathroom was definitely above what we expect from most motels (we had a disability access room). Walking distance from the main street with the art gallery and restaurants

Great spot in the city centre. The hotel is on the worn and dated side but neat and tidy. The walls are thin, and I could hear old mate snoring next door and upstairs having a shower at 1 am. So, a little on the noisy side for me. Parking a little tight. But if you need to be in the city centre it is great value for money and walking distance to shops, parks, art centres and restaurants. So the good outweighed the bad in this motel.
