I stayed in one of the private rooms with attached bath. The hostel is in a good location close to restaurants, cafes, squares, etc. About a 20-minute walk up to the Acropolois, ten minutes to Plaka, and ten minutes to Syntagma Square. It can be a bit noisy with revelers, scooters, etc. The room is very basic - no TV, no dresser, no closet, no coffee pot or hot water kettle, no mini fridge. Just a basic, small private room with a desk and bathroom. The bathroom is about 3 feet from the bed, so if you're staying in the room with someone, you'd better be comfortable with that. The hostel has nice common areas with generous freebies (filtered water, coffee, tea). The hostel does a good job of creating community by hosting nearly nightly events. Overall, a good option for lodging in Athens city center.
