City Hotel

Got a 4 room unit when I checked in for a night. The price was around 700 kroner. There was noise in the morning and the breakfast was just a basic one. A couple were messing around in the kitchen and the lady vomited on the freaking floor. I didn't have my coffee due to feeling disgusted and I left. If you want some quick sleep, that's the hotel to check in to. Not recommended for long stay.

Needed a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and found this hotel in the city centre. |Free parking lot right outside the room. The room was a bit old fasioned, but clean and in good condition. Two good beds, and an OK sleeping couch - at least for a night or two. |Complimentary Wi-Fi with sufficient speed for Netflix streaming. Basic breakfast included, and very friendly staff.

Stopped in this hotel on the 17th May. It was a budget priced hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. It was comfortable, clean with good sized rooms, and a good on suite. Staff were welcoming and infirmation was available as to where to eat. The hotel is nicely positioned to enable you to walk to a selection of restaurants. The chinese dead opposite is well worth a visit. If you are on a budget then we feel this hotel is ideal for you

If you are booking a hotel in Southern Sweden you will find that most hotels are very expensive and not that fantastic so although this is a very basic hotel it is good value for money if all you want is somewhere to overnight before catching the ferry. B&B's in Sweden are also often disappointing and if you have a pet with you very difficult to find a place that accepts them.||||The hotel does have a slightly unpleasant smell in the corridors and reception but this is mainly from the smokers who tend to congregate around the front entrance.||||The bathroom is very basic and the shower over the bath has no curtain so prepare yourself for some acrobatic movement to be able to shower without soaking the floor.The bed however is really comfortable,clean and I had a really good nights sleep . One of the few hotels to provide nice thick pillows and four of them.The breakfast was also basic but fresh and really as much as I wanted.||||The hotel is ideally situated for the centre and there is a huge variety of restaurants and take-aways to choose from. We settled for cheap Chinese from the restaurant opposite and a bottle of wine from the systembolaget and ate in the room with the company of our dog and watched champions league football.||||Just a three minute drive to the ferry in the morning very,very handy after driving from the north of Finland.

My family and I booked a stay for an extended weekend getaway. The surrounding neighbourhood is not what I usually expect to find in Sweden, but mainly a lot of kebabs and empty shops/warehouses making any outside activities limited not to say dangerous after dark.||||The owner of this pretty wornout hotel is completely nuts. Not only did he monitor any activity we did inside the room he also constantly commented on it. The owner at several occasions entered our room without any prior knocking on the door. He refused to turn on the heating, and was completely paranoid of any movements the guests did. At least two other couples cut their stay short and left in a hurry, and on the second day we were kicked out and presented for an additional fee of 10.000 SEK on top of what we payed through Hotels.com, not giving any explanation, merely threatening us with his affiliates from former east block countries.||||The only positive thing I can think of is the hotels proximity to the southbound freeway.

The toilet wasnt clean, cold at night in the room and also the breakfast was really poor there were 2 boiled eggs and 3 slices of a cucumber. All i can say abut this place that i will never go back i still actually feel dirty from being there .

This hotel is dirty, the bed is half made up, sheets not covering the bed, pillow doesnt deserve the name. Shower with hairs in and around it, dust on the shower itself and no coffee or thee facilities. Really far below standard and the price is not even that modest! Really very unsatisfactory!!||The bed is like a trampoline and stinks!!||Worst experience ever! And I have seen a lot of hotels!!!!

Can’t stress this point enough. Stay away and don’t feel tempted by the low price. |Sheets, towels, amenities everything is old and worn out with holes and brown spots. Bathtub is not fastened to the floor creating a safety hazard. Mold and fungus on the bathroom walls (this explains the weird smell other reviewers has mentioned) ||Neighborhood doesn’t feel safe. ||Had to leave the hotel after checking in and went to find another hotel. ||Disgusting.
