City Hotel Ljubljana

We stayed for three nights, nice place. Very good breakfast (even if you come 15 minutes before it ends, there's still plenty of choice, you're not rushed), extremely good bedding & sheets (pillows are amazing - I searched for a tag to find the brand but couldn't find it), noise from the outside is minimal, very clean. Good location. Garage is absolutely private without any cars from outside of the hotel.

My compliments to the hotel and staff. Our visit went great. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the location of the hotel is perfect. I would describe the breakfast at the City Hotel as the best of the hotels in the European cities I have visited. So many different and delicious dishes and drinks, really awesome. With all care to cover dishes for people with a special type of diet. Four coffee machines! The hotel is a top ten! 👌

This fantastic hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from the bus and train station. Its prime location allows easy access to all the city's attractions.||We stayed for three nights to celebrate my fiancée's birthday. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly upgraded our room to one with a beautiful castle view. As a special birthday treat, he also provided Inese with a voucher for a complimentary cake and drink. Such thoughtful gestures truly enhanced our stay. Breakfast was excellent with many choices - great bar and restaurant with such attentive staff - would highly recommend a stay and will be back!!!!

Nice hotel. I only stayed for a night while in transit but really enjoyed. Central location with a lot of bars and pubs around, clean and quiet room and on top of that really nice and helpful staff. The restaurant also looked interesting but I didn’t have the chance to try it as I arrived late. The only downside of it is the lack of parking. I’m definitely recommend and visit again when in Ljublijana.

Very comfortable beds, great pillows; kettle, tea & coffee available in the room; the hotel offered 2 bottles of water; room is very clean; we had an excellent breakfast; cosy atmosphere; nice staff; very good location. Public parking place close to the hotel (the cost was aprox. 13 euro from 20.00 until 12.30 pm).

Great hotel, great staff, our stay for 2 nights Dec 1 and 2 was very enjoyable!||Front desk staff Myah was very helpful making our reservation, I appreciated that.|Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable.||The bar/dining room staff were friendly, and courteous, it was a pleasure to eat at the hotel, which we did both nights.|It was our wedding anniversary on Dec 1 and the staff person, Eva, made us feel special, and it was a wonderful celebration.|We had the stew which they make daily and they were delicious. ||We had underground parking at the hotel which was very convenient, I think it was 20€ per day. I am not sure of that as it was included in our price which was a ‘special’ Park and Stay. Also Breakfast was included in the price.||Wonderful location to visit the ‘Old Town’ you can walk to it in 5 minutes. We visited the Christmas market also wonderful.||All in all it was a great visit.

The hotel lobby is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, with a clean and well-maintained en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Everything was perfect!!

After much debating about where to stay for two nights in Ljubljana, I am glad I chose City Hotel. The location was perfect for both exploring the old and new town, and getting to and from the train station, a 10 minute walk away. |The room was so peaceful, especially as the window overlooked the centre of the building, a view into the reception area from above, which meant there was absolutely no street noise. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The bathroom was lovely and had a good shower and breakfast was great. I’d stay here again without a second thought.
