The room is large for Japan. 20m² and super comfortable and nice large bathroom - japanese style. Service as far as I am concerned was great (we didn't have a lot of interaction) and the POLA bathroom products that are available in the room are the top tier products in Japan. I read some bad reviews before coming and we were a bit worried, but it turned out great. Location, while a bit further from Shinjuku, it is right next door to Shinjuku Gyoemmae (2 stations from Shinjuku) on the Marunouchi line. Simply great 👍

Suited us as we were a family of four. We stay here at the start of our two week trip and again at the end. First room in main building was fine. Second room in annex was awful, cold, damp, poor toilet and shower. It was affordable but I’d not stay there again. I almost forgot, the receptionist on our return stay was the rudest I have ever met in all my travels. She would outshine Bazil Faulty 😉

Deluxe family room was spacious and had a kitchen. Comfy beds, good shower and great towels. Best budget triple share on our 4week trip.

Really enjoyed this hotel and from what I've read, the room size was large for Tokyo. The room was spacious, the bathroom/wet room was big. The staff were fantastic, allowing us to store luggage before check in, provided laundry service, the location was great, near to restaurants and bars but not close that it was noisy. There was a train station about a 3 minute walk away. Parking was available and we used it one night. The view wasn't exactly great and the bed was quite hard. Would definitely recommend and would stay again as long as the bed was a bit more comfortable. Very good value for money in my opinion.

The person cleaning our rooms didn't even bother changing sheets or cleaning the room, there was floss and hair on the sheets and in the bathroom from previous tenants!! It seems like people have different experiences in the main building but we were sent off into the secondary building down the street where the cleanliness is not up to standards! Disgusting!

We stayed 3 nights at Tokyo City Hotel N.U.T.S. in Shinjuku. The room was okay a bit small and plain, with no real decor and cost around ¥23,000 per night for 3 people. For that price, you’d expect more, especially since it’s about a 15–20 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The service was disappointing. Check-in was self-service, and the staff didn’t offer much help at all. During checkout, the woman at the front desk was visibly annoyed and unfriendly, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. Also, one of our ceiling lights broke on the day we checked in, and even after asking multiple times, no one came to fix it during our entire stay. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you’re okay with minimal service and don’t mind walking a bit to get to the main station.

The photos of the rooms listed on their website and Booking.com showed clean rooms. As one would expect when booking a hotel room. However, the room was in terrible shape. There was poop on the bathroom walls, dirt on the bedding when we walked into the room, stains on the sides of the bed, the phone in the room, and the AC/Heating unit were not working as well. The place was disgusting. In addition, the room was on the 7th floor, and they would shut off all the electricity in the building on April 6 for a few hours. Since I have a back injury, leaving or entering the hotel room without access to the elevator would be impossible.

The room is tidy with enough space for three of us and the staffs are very friendly. For the check in and out is very convenient

Yelp
This hotel was an affordable option in Shinjuku 1. It is close enough to the center of the "action" while also being just far enough for it to be peaceful and quiet. The rooms are small but well designed (for example my bed had a panel above it that controlled the lights and the ac). The bathroom was big and included a shower and bath, as well as a Japanese style toilet. Metro station is less than 5 minute walk, tons of restaurants and bars within a few meters of the hotel. I wish it had a closet that you could hang up shirts and trousers; and I also thought it was very strange that I had to sign a document saying that if I had a guest in my room I would have to notify the hotel and pay a certain amount. For some this could feel like an invasion of privacy, and also it seems like they want to charge per person rather than the room. It's not something that I had to deal with but still found it very strange. Staff were polite and friendly, and rooms were kept clean.

Yelp
They won't allow any visitors unless they pay!!!! Thus turns your room into a lonely cell. Their drive to make profit is too hugh.

Yelp
I booked this hotel through the AGODA app. I arrived to the hotel 5 days prior to my check in time to drop off my luggage. Then was informed I put 2 adults instead of 3. (My own fault) So I contacted Agoda and asked to change it to 3 adults. Everything went smoothly, wasn't charged any extra amount since it was 5 days before my check-in time. When I arrived to check in to the hotel, the front desk lady said "oh 2 adults, to add one more is going to be $90 for 3 nights." I tried showing the front desk lady my conformation email saying my booking has changed to 3 adults. She totally disregard what I was trying to show her and continued being rude and demanding the $90 fee. We were a little confused as to why we were being charged if we had already changed it to 3 people and also, I booked a triple room which has a double bed and 2 singles!!! Fits 4 people comfortably. We contacted agoda and they were super polite and helpful, but unfortunately they had to pay the $90 fee. On top of that, there's a $20 deposit for THE KEY!!! I've never been to a hotel that charges a deposit fee just for the key. It seemed like the front desk lady changed her attitude as soon as the $90 fee and the hotel key deposit was paid. The hotel room itself was nice and spacious but the experience we had it made my stay very uncomfortable and unsatisfied. The service staff on agoda were the only ones that made my experience manageable.

Yelp
It's a tiny, cozy hotel in Shinjuku, Japan. It's a short stay, but we got everything we needed. The room is small, but the bathroom is spacious with a very modern toilet with an automatic warmed seat, which is my daughter's favorite. It took us a while to figure out how the toilet worked, and it's really a "wonder". It's a very short distance to local shopping centers and the Sekaido art store. The hotel is conviently surrounded by many restaurants, and even a Subway at the corner. We didn't see many employees there, but each time we walked out of our room, and coming back even just for a short time, our room was neatly cleaned; our slippers were nicely arranged in front of the bathroom, and the toilet papers' tip was also artistically folded. The people were honest and helpful though they spoke very little English. At the end of our stay, we offered to give tips, but no one accepted, since they said they took pride on their jobs, not for the tips. It gives such a good feeling that I may come back to stay at this place again for our next trip.
