City Inn Oct Loft

This hotel lift very small and slow. Room ok quite spacious but toilet only got one side door, if you shower you cannot use toilet (door is close on the bathroom side) Worst thing is inside the bathroom NO hook to hang clothes, so after shower you have to bare body come out then wear your clothes. There's no wardrobe to hang clothes only have the hook on the wall. The breakfast spread very limited, they served bread WITHOUT BUTTER. Oh man, how can you serve bread without butter. Also many taxi drivers don't know this location.

The hotel name is actually City Inn OCT Loft in English.||||Spent 2 nights mid Sept. Normally stay in Holiday Inn Express in Lowu but want to go at a more relaxing pace because I have more than 1 day.||||It is located very close to Chuangyiyuan (an area which focus on creative industries), it takes around 10-15 mins to walk from East of Overseas Chinese Town station. A quiet area perfect for a getaway from the hectic downtown||||Service is good for a 2 stars hotel, they got all my requests done promptly and friendly (including fixing the non-working aircon in an hour), which is not bad at all for a 2 stars property||||Room is very nicely decorated but on the small side, we have one of the ten special rooms decorated by local artists, which looks very chic and cool. Did not have too much in terms of in room amenities but are more than adequate. In room broadband is FOC but very slow for serious usage||||Cleanliness is very good overall, no complain in this department||||At RMB 385 per night, it is already one of the more expensive room for the hotel, a normal Deluxe room cost RMB 325, same size, only minus the special decoration by artists. At this rate it is quite good value, especially when you compare to foreign run hotels||||Will go back again

The hotel looks ok. The lobby is small but it looks ok. Everyhing looks and seems to be ok, untill you get to the room.||Mould everywhere. Ceiling in front of the bathroom was pretty much black from mould.||Some parts you can see were just painted over. The smell in the room is bad also. It smells moist and mouldy. Window did not close completely. We had to change the room, but it only got a tad better. I would not stay in this hotel again and I would not recommend this to anyone, unless your options are sleeping outside or in this hotel, then maybe I would choose this hotel. I gave 2 points from 5 because all is ok before you get to the room.

Environment is Quiet.Room is ok clean,Friendly stuff .......||We like this hotel's concept from Reading and culture exchange.They provided some books about stories of cities. It's is very good of the location near OCT, It's fun there. The first Sun/Sat of the every month, there are functions such as exhibitions, music out there.It's nice to have a relaxing weekend out there. "My noodle" restaurant is good!!!Don't try the Cafe there,it's sucks....

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, other than that it's basically a place to leave your stuff, sleep at night, nothing more. It's a bit dodgy and unclean. Won't complain more since my friend and I were out all day, and the main reason of our stay was to explore Shenzhen.

the hotel is very nice, nice people, smeell good, the price is ok, the only problem for me was the location, if you want to buy small things (like fron 7eleven) needs to walk a lot or even take a taxi

Good location inside of OCT, good price. staff couldn't speak english though. just near by there's market, lost of coffee & bar etc.

Recently renovated and rooms are very clean and tidy. There are no safe boxes.
