One of the best dominican cakes i have ever tasted. Their cake is moist and delicious. The suspiro is soft and not that sweet. I 100% recommend this place

Great tasting but hit or miss with the writing on the cake (poor penmanship). Since 2022 started i may have bought 3-4 cakes from here. One had a weird air bubble form on top. The next had bad writing, the next one was the most beautiful one for my 66year old mom! There is a new young man there, he does the best writing on the cake. Also check that your cake that the icing is not crystallized.

I’ve been getting cakes here for 17+ years, I get cakes about 6-8 times a year for birthdays and other occasions. This would be the only place I went and I used to love it but since the main guy left their cakes are no longer the same. For the last 3 years it’s just not the same. I used to be able to come and go over designs and show him what I wanted and I swear I would leave beyond happy but now since my Regular baker left, even showing a simple cake doesn’t get done right. It’s very disappointing because after the first cake I was unhappy with, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried a few more cakes with them and it’s like they don’t even try anymore. The last cake I got I was charged 150 and it’s sad to say that I would’ve been better off getting one of those $25 cakes they have ready. They lost a very good customer

The cake wasn’t moist, it didn’t taste like it was fresh and I found a plastic inside of it broo. So disappointed🤦🏻‍♀️

Yelp
This is a small, unassuming neighborhood bakery that specializes in Dominican cakes. They have Dominican cakes available in slices or the whole cake. They do custom orders, or you can ask them to decorate one of the cakes they have ready on display if you're short on time. You can order Dominican cake with pineapple, guava, dulce de leche or tres leches. They also had typical Dominican pastries available. I'm Dominican, and I'm very picky about Dominican cake, and they did a great job with the pineapple filling in the cake. I also tried the dulce de leche cortado, and it was so delicious. The prices are very reasonable.
