City Lodge Hotel Durban

Well located, very affordable, great place to stay. |However, there was no complementary drinking water provided in the rooms.|We had also asked for an airport shuttle service but the email apparently went missing. A taxi was booked for us and we had to pay for it.

Although Durban CBD has gone to the dogs, this little isolated oasis is lovely to stay at. The rooms and bedding was clean, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, the food was good, and the pool was clean and nice to use in the Durban heat and humidity. It is close to the people mover buses. After our boat cruise we were quite sick, and since the lodge had lots of open rooms at that time, they let us book in a lot earlier than usual was really appreciated. The sleeper couch was a bit hard, but that was the only thing we could fault. it was also very affordable for December holidays. Our personal experience there was really good. 9/10.

I would love to book the hotel once more next time, I felt at home. The waiters and the cleaners were welcoming and kind to me and my colleagues so I am sure they also enjoyed a stay there. There was a guy there who was excelling in serving us food, he is light skinned and short both in height and hair cut; if had my way I would promote him, he is so patient and kind serving with no complain.

Great employees who takes pride in their work and provide superior service and experience to the guests. ||The location of the hotel is closer to my areas where I was doing business and easy access to many interesting destinations within Durban Central. ||I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends also colleagues.

I wanted to give a 10/10. We travel a lot and must admit one of he best hotels we Stayed in. The team is friendly and accomodating. No ask is to big. Thank you to the assistant manager who were on duty 22 Dec. Your smile and warmness towards us went a long way.

The staff is amazing and rooms always neat. The breakfast is delicious and supper. It is a home away from home.The staff go out of their way to make sure you satisfied and happy. The cater for family, business and even host conferences. Its always my first accommodation option

Comfortable rooms with good workspaces, friendly and helpful staff who assisted with all requests made this a great place to stay whilst travelling on business. The decent breakfast and different evening meal selections made this an enjoyable stay.

The bathroom needs a bit of maintenence and deep clean. Please keep curtains and hallway carpet clean. Would be nice if they had more halaal options at restaurant. The restaurant staff need to know what exactly is on their menu and if their meat is halaal
