The hotel is quite clean. 😊I enjoyed the water station and shoe cleaning station. The food was also very good, large portions at affordable prices. Only cons were the Rooms weren't really noise proofed. Dining area gets very busy in the evening resulting in longer waiting time. Breakfast was good and the downer was queuing for places even if you don't want eggs, you have to wait for your turn before you get the plate😭

Value for money coupled with excellent and courteous staff... From front desk to the cleaning team, all super nice.. Rooms are neat and spacious..Next time will ensure I book the breakfast option as well.. The ice on tap (excuse the pun) is a winner and does compensates for the rooms not having those mini bar-fridges... Also don't personally mind those stairs...Good work out (win win situation..lol..for those who don't gym) Overall experience for us was good and would come back for another stay here... Central to most of the city attractions..

I had an absolutely great experience at City Lodge Hotel. I didn’t expect such a high level of service and a beautiful place so close to me. The ambiance and facilities exceeded my expectations, making my stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for family vacations or romantic getaways, especially during the festive season. It’s the perfect place to relax and create memorable moments. I look forward to returning!

Was attending a conference at the ICC and it is a walking distance and safe. I want to appreciate Sihle and even when I was not feeling well she offered me medication for a headache. I had a problem with being asked to pay in full when checking in. Having come straight from the airport I only had dollars and going to look for rands around 5pm in Musgrave, Pavilion and Gateway malls was not a great experience as I had travelled over ten hours and was extremely tired. At least allow someone to check in and the following day th y can pay in full or take the dollars. The other problem was during breakfast with Sindi. You send her tea she takes along time. Today I called and told her someone had spilt some milk on the floor. Not a lot but could make someone slide. I then ask her to bring me tea. She just asks for my room number I don't know why and goes. I wait and wait for the tea until I call another waitress. Then the customer next to me in another table says he also asked Sindi for tea but she never brought. After waiting for sometime I finally get the tea with cold milk...sigh l.

Agoda messed up my dates, but the City Lodge manager Fiona was very helpful and sorted out everything in a heartbeat. I've received the best service for years and many more to come. Well done City Lodge.

Nice place to stay. Situated close to most shops and the ⛱️ The place is very well suitably situated and there is ample parking bays to add to your holiday experience. There is a variety of rooms and a swimming pool for those who would like to cool off. Don't regret not going there as it is the ideal place for a break away. For those who does not want to get wet, there is a place where you can sit down and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea. If that does not satisfy you, then you can enjoy a nice farm fresh breakfast at your favorite restaurant. There is also enough for the kids to keep them busy. So why not take the road and enjoy a break away time away from home. Your home away from home. For those who loves outdoor shopping there is also enough nearby shops to keep you busy. For the book lovers you can pop into a book shop and enjoy a stress free day. No frills and no over crowded shops. So why not get into your car and escape to a relaxing time. If you really looking for a time to relax while shopping this is the place to go to. You will not regret it. So why not give it a try. For those who want public transport the place is nor far from the public transport facilities.

Not ideal for business travel. Noise isn't managed, so it was disturbing. The plugs in the room weren't working 🥴 The breakfast pack wasn't packed as per the filled out form and had to wait for a further 20mins. Would be great for a holiday as there is definitely holiday vibe.

I love the place is beautiful and quiet the rooms are exceptionally very nice 👌 and also the stuff we're friendly One of the employees by the name nohlahla she was the one making sure that we're drinking hot coffee ☕️ during our breakfast
