This primarily baroque style church was built at the end ofvm the 17th century after the previous 13th century church was destroyed by an earthquake
Inside is a beautiful baroque interior with an impressive main altar, pulpit and various altars on the side.
On the outside are interesting sculptured plaques depicting whole families in prayer.

You can see the earlier description of the last supper, the version before Vinci's famous painting came into.

This Church is not that impressive from the outside, not like the French, German or Italian Churches, but inside this a whole different story and I'd even go further describing it as superb.
Especially the ceilings which are outstanding.
Just take a look at the pictures,
Enjoy.

Attractive church . Views from the church bell is really impressive. And it is hard to imagine, that for decades a family lived in the tower for maintaining the clock. Well worth to climb up the stairs! The guide is doing that several times a day!

Beautiful church in the center of Klagenfurt. If you go upstairs, there are wonderful views. The church is visible from almost all points of the city.

The church is really very beautiful, both externally and internally! If you are in the city, I also recommend a visit to the Tower (for a fee, 6€) which allows you to enjoy a nice visit to the city!
