This spacious warehouse-style coffee roastery is located at the far outskirt of Williamsburg, inviting those who live nearby and who are passionate enough to come all the way to the east. Amazing coffee, great service, light-speed wifi are guaranteed.

It doesn’t get more brooklyn than this. Fresh coffee sold from the source. They brew and box their coffee feet from where you sit down to drink it. I am personally not a fan of the coffee, but many people love it. They could use more pastries and a better selection of sweeteners and milk.

Great place just on the border of Bushwick and east Williamsburg. Super fresh and tasteful coffee. Roasters and cafe all together.

One of the most authentic coffee places in town. Messerole street itself is a piece of art. City of Saints really blended in well with that vibe. Roastery/ bar combined with amazing coffee. Definitely a must go

Parking is very difficult in this neighborhood, but the battle is worth the fight. These guys are committed to the craft of coffee roasting and preparation. Their espresso pulls are on point, and their roasting is excellent. They have a variety of special blends as well as single origins and small lots. The venue is a bit of a warehouse conversion, funky and comfortable with adequate space to chill, enjoy and even get some work done if that's your thing. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Awesome Coffee. Great Desserts. Comfortable environment. Excellent service. And the nicest, friendliest Baristas you could ever meet, they put love into their drinks and make it look like art and taste great. Worth the money.

It's incredible coffee. I don't think many compare and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the coffee business and especially the sourcing of it. The branding is fun and it actually makes a much better gift than flowers or chocolate.

Lavender agave iced latte was AWESOME! I got it with oatmilk and it was wonderful... perfect amount of lavender, light and refreshing.

My favorite coffee shop to chill and get some work done. I especially love it when it's warmer out and the garage door is open; you're kinda shielded from the sun but still get to people watch and get an outdoorsy feeling. The place has an artistic/gritty/industrial vibe to it but that's definitely its charm. Painted walls line the sides of the shop, giving the place some flair. The coffee is always good and there's always enough room to sit and relax. If i'm in the city i'll go to the City of Saints location there but the Brooklyn one is forever my favorite. I usually go for a drip coffee or a latte (with the millennial favorite, oat milk). They roast their beans in the back of the place so it smells gooood. FYI - bathrooms seem to be for staff only so just be aware of that. Go on a weekend, have a cup of coffee and just relax.

This looks like a garage turned hipster coffee shop but it's cute or whatever. I really liked the artwork inside. I had the $4 cold brew which was just okay.

Super cool space, renovated and remodeled garage with an artsy and sorta creative feel. I love the vibe of this place! Didn't have anything exciting (cold brew was solid though) but I did have a vegan chocolate muffin which was great. Would love to see more vegan options in the future!

Coffee was great, super place real "cool", "hipster" EDM music playing in the background etc etc all the cute adjectives millenniums are using these days. The real issue and ask Starbucks what happened to them. No coffee shop should be allowed to operate without public ( oh yeah let's not forget "non gender specific " ) bathrooms. This place clearly has more that 20 seats . It must allow patrons to use the facilities , NYC laws for public restrooms clear. Serving coffee without restrooms is like listening to "Kodak Black" without the vulgar language......should not be allowed. Maybe, that will be my new mission in life going after food and drinking establishments that fail to provide adequate bathrooms. The funny part is they do have a wheelchair ramp that is NON ADA compliant, that's Federal Law maybe we start there since obviously NYC govt is too busy. Stay tuned more to come , I am pissed off !

Good, rich, and strong coffee! Nice service. Music good volume - loud enough it to meddle in other people's conversation, but lough enough to maintain your own. Cool interior - very raw; graffiti. Like the way the view faces the street. The tall stools are really nice design. But none of the chairs and tables are really comfortable, so it's more a kind of 'pop in for a quick cup' than a place I would go to sit and work. Super short 'menu' - literally only espresso, espresso with milk, ready made cup of joe, and fancy pour over coffee. The donuts and croissants look delicious! Didn't try it though. Kind of pricy - $3.75 for espresso and steamed milk 8oZ. Good and stable wifi Last note: it's SO COOL that the roastery is literally there right next to you. All places should have it like this. You can see the sacks of coffee - and I bet it smells delicious here when they roast!!!

City of Saints coffee roasters is located on the outskirts of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. While walking here, I thought I had the wrong address but suddenly stumbled into a really vibey open air coffee shop. The first thing I noticed was that they were roasting coffee right next to the barista counter (always a good sign). COFFEE (5/5): Since it was a hot day, I opted for an iced pour-over. I prefer iced pour-overs to cold brew because I believe (opinion) the hot water brings out more of the coffee's flavor then the cold brewing process does. My opinions aside, the coffee was very good. They also have an assortment of specialty drinks that incorporate unique flavors such as lavender which I will try in the future. PRICE (5/5): Standard craft coffee prices LOCATION/AMBIANCE (4/5): No public restroom but cool seating area! Also, the roastery in the back is super cool & speaks of how fresh the coffee is that you are drinking.

I find it so disappointing when you pay a million dollars for coffee and then not allowed to use a rest room .. I counted the chairs repeatedly just to make sure.. umm there are twenty

Stumbled across this place on a long walk and used the bathroom. I usually wouldn't include that in a review but others have mentioned no public bathroom , so I'm confused. Yes, it was at the back of the roasting space, and yes there was a mini fridge and a shelf of supplies in there, but it exists, it works, and it's clean! I got the $3 lavender agave soda. Awesome. Very fragrant and not too bubbly or sweet. Well-prepared to order. I loved that the place is not quite outdoors or indoors, not quite retail or industrial, but right in the middle on both counts.

A little out of the way, but the cold brew for $3.50 was very good. I only got it because the coffee was from Ethiopia but I ended up making a good choice. The barista was friendly, and the fact that they serve donut plant donuts gives them an extra star. The artwork was beautiful. My only gripe is that there is no public bathroom here. I understand that it is a warehouse and coffee roasting plant, but a bathroom is pretty necessary in a coffee shop.

I came for the murals but stayed for the lavender agave lattes. I didn't know what to expect but it was delicious. Good music and nice staff (dude was running solo) seems like a good place to work but these seats didn't make me want to stay for long.

Like some other reviewer mentioned, this place is douchey and full of hipsters. The employee working behind the counter had an attitude when we ordered three cups of coffee. He also let out an exasperated sigh when we asked if the donuts were from Donut Plant, and didn't respond until we questioned their origin again. We tipped despite the crappy service and took the drinks and donut to the seats at the communal table. Average iced coffee, mediocre drip, solid flat white, and donut was good (because it's Donut Plant, duh.)

Situated in an a large open converted garage in the commercial district of Bushwick, this is the one of the best coffee roasters to open up. Recently Bushwick has been lucky to have northwest favorite coffee punk : Cafe Vita make Bushwick it's home. There's also the newbie's Supercrown Roasters as well. What makes City of Saints great is there space. I'd hike a mile for Vita and don't care if I can hang out there because the coffee is so AAAAMAZING! The new kids on the block have a beautiful space but only 3 small tables. City of Saints has an open and inviting space with split level seating and stools at the marble table top bar. The exposed brick walls are covered with beautifully bright colored graffiti murals. The murals shows the company's awareness of embracing their environment. This part of Bushwick is the premiere place for graffiti and street art. With the likes of Buff Monster and Space Invader to all the locals, it's the best walk you can take to get a coffee. The staff here is overly kind and helpful and the coffee art is stunning! My Cortado had a heart with infinite lines and was perfect. They offer a great selection of gourmet donuts from Doughnut Planet (thank god... I love Dough but they are everywhere) with choices like vanilla bean and carrot cake. The music is great, the skylights provide the perfect ambiance and the glass garage door allows you to have a feel of being right on the street. This is a welcome addition to Brooklyn. I can't wait to come in the summer when the front gate is raised!

A hidden gem I came across while on a bike ride. Large location but mostly taken up by the machines used for roasting. The nice sent of coffee brewing is usually the first thing you experience while walking thru the door. Serving all levels of coffee with a small selection of pastry's. No restrooms here,so not sure if it's best place to come and work or stay long but the coffee is well worth the visit. Also selling coffee beans,slightly expensive.

Yeah this place rocks! Location is perfect, kinda out of the way, but still easy enough to get to. The coffee is phenomenal; they roast their own right here. And the baristas are super friendly. Lets see, they have some tasty donuts and croissants... but really, its all about the coffee here! No need to go to Cup or Boulevard anymore, the Saint has arrived ;)

Douchey Bushwick Hipster Cafe, with good coffee. When you walk in you are both stared at by every petticoat wearing, Bushwick narcissist for not having a septum piercing and edgy haircut all while simultaneously getting the most delicious whiff of fresh roasted coffee (they roast in house) So I am by no means a coffee expert, Actually I am the asshole who gets a hot chocolate or a london fog because coffee doesn't sit well with me. My sister, her fiancee and my husband all liked the coffee but I didn't get anything because I am a snooty bitch who was looking for a hot chocolate. The space itself was beautifully adorned with many plants and a minimal design I was into it. When I come back I would love to see other drinks since Coffee is a no go for me ( I know my life sucks). Just a little Satire yall don't get too mad.

If the self proclaimed artsy fartsy Brooklyn hipster couldn't find a Starbucks. No bathroom, but great coffee, WiFi, and indoor/outdoor seating is nice to get out of the house but get some work done. Good music. Not over crowded which is plus.

Not as good as their East Village spot. The location is in an odd broken down warehouse area. Graffiti is cool. Probably best to go during warmer times.

Great spacious environment. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee. Good music. Ice americano for $3.50, not bad for the quality. There is a bit of noise as it is a roasting company, but I enjoy background noise while I work.

Simple and tasty. Couldn't go wrong. Cafe fits the area also a nice selection of treats to pair with your drink! Perfect spot to just come and wind down and catch the breeze considering it's great open space layout.

Coming early in the day, we were on a coffee mission. I started my tasting marathon with a brewed iced coffee on tap and I have to say it was amazing. I never had such a Wonderfull cold brew in my life. With deep chocolate tones and big flavor I would suggest this to anyone who needs to stay up for a day (or a few weeks). (I still got this beautiful chocolate taste in my mouth writing this review... A blessing). But of course, I could not stop there. Next up on the roster, I tried a hot coffee blend of beans from both kenya and Ethiopia. Another coffee, another flavor, another waaaaaw. Lastly, I had a pour over made from a pure Ethiopian blend. This was my least favorite of the bunch. It stills had this tiny citrus flavor under tones with a hint of pepper but i'm not a big fan of citrus so i will gently let the opinion to some who likes it. I have to admit that this is where i stopped there looking at my hand shaking like a drug addict. I also stopped because of the lack of restroom (the only reason of the 4 stars instead of 5). I can't wait for the next coffee there. This time, I will prepare my bladder.

NO PUBLIC BATHROOM! 3 stars solely on the merits of their cold brew coffee--stuff is the cat's pajamas. People come to these places with the intention of posting up for a couple of hours to do some work, read, etc. Not having a bathroom kind of kills it. If you have a place with nice seating, wifi, etc. you should probably have a bathroom...or at least a conspicuous sign saying you don't have one so that you don't attract customers under false pretenses.

Good coffee but I don't understand how a business can sell liquids to someone and not have a public bathroom. It's just bad for business, imagine if a bar didn't have a bathroom ?

This City of Saint is definitely the best spot at Bushwick, close to all awesome graffitis and sweatshop. If you are into street art and music, you'll know what I'm talking about. Tried their latte....better than Starbucks by far... the Asian girl who made my latte is really skillful. $4 for a 12oz cup, a bargain!

Came here a while ago and the coffee use to be good and strong.. the last three times I've came here i was served the remains of the melted ice that was in a coffee.. or at least that's what it tastes like.. the coffee was clear with a light tan tint color and tasted like water.. this is absolutely not coffee. I do not recommend going here if you want coffee. Also they were out of sugar today.. and lids weren't stocked. Won't go back.

Very cool urban cafe in what appears to be a remodeled garage with graffiti. They also have the giant coffee roaster and bagged coffees in the back so you can observe the process. The woman who served me was very nice and apologized for the wait and made sure to have my coffee the way I liked. Bonus: free used coffee sacks that would be great for an art/decorating project.

Great coffee and wonderful staff. Came here everyday for a week for my morning coffee. Solid. Does not disappoint and the prices are good!

A great warehouse location with a huge layout, chill vibe and friendly staff. Most importantly, they have excellent coffee!! Their beans come in a cool box and their thermos canisters make lovely gifts for any coffee lover, but unfortunately there is not a lot of comfortable seating to hang back and relax in. To only make matters worse, there is no bathroom! I tried their iced brew on tap, a drip blend from Kenya/Ethiopia, and a pure Ethiopian pour-over-oh yeah, did I mentioned I'm obsessed with coffee :) The ice brew was incredible, with strong flavor and deep chocolate notes, the blend was tasty, aromatic and with berry undertones, and lastly, the pour-over was clean with hints of citrus and pepper. I can't wait to come back for some espresso!

magnificently quaint and quite the a hidden gem. City of Saints in Bushwick is what all the work from home Brooklynites and free lancers need. Space, ample natural lighting, cool & calm vibes, and damn good pastries. Here's where the magic happens for their beans so you'll get waves of delicious scents as you type away through the day. Though seating is a bit limited for the massive space, but traffic come and goes so you'll find seating in no time. And don't forget to treat yourself to some cookies, YUMMz

I've lived in the area for three years and am SO happy I stumbled upon this place! It's open, great lighting and great art; baristas are awesome and I truly just love and enjoy the entire experience every time I go! Kudos and can't wait until next time!

Great coffee but don't come here if you need a bathroom, they won't let you use theirs. I'm sure for good reason but you've been warned.

My friend and I are Saints regulars .. and we go BONKERS for saints but we more bonkers for PETE! He makes THE BEST drinks, they are in point every single time (can't say this about everyone else)!!! Pete should be the CEO of saints and instead of saints it should be called "Pete's". Give Pete a raise!! He is so friendly, kind, funny and knowledgeable about the craft! We would take a bullet for Pete.

The lavender agave latte is bomb. Great space to chill. I love coming here when the weather is nice and the doors are completely open and you can see the few strollers pass by. The location is a little tucked away on messerole where the pavement isn't too walk friendly but the coffee is great. I had a pain at chocolate here too which was crispy, fluffy, and buttery in the right proportions. A bit noisy since they process beans here but good vibes all around.

City of Saints is hidden in the warehouse district on the edge of Williamsburg and Bushwick. It offers plenty of workspace if you're sporting a laptop or tablet with a colorful mural backdrop. I had an iced latte but didn't sample any of the local baked goods. The latte was robust but not overly strong. City of Saints has become a regular spot for my coffee fix.

Love this place!! Amazing coffee served by baristas who actually know what they're doing... the space itself is also really cool- unique graffiti with an industrial look (they roast the coffee in the huge open space in the back).

I'm so happy about the new coffee shops popping up in my neighborhood since the space between the Morgan and Montrose L stops is pretty desolate. This spot is large and sunny with a pretty raw industrial vibe. Great for working and the coffee & doughnut plant doughnuts were delicious. I hung out in there forever.

Good solid roastery in the area. Probably beats out the other local coffee places around Montrose L stop! Staff is super nice and space is big! And they have snacks.

The coffee at City of Saints is exceptional, these guys really know what they're doing. There are plenty of tables, but no bathroom and no power outlets, so not a place to park and work for more than an hour or two. That being said, their espresso drinks are cheaper than most places and way better (seems it's a roastery first and foremost). They also have a variety of doughnuts (my favorite is the tres leches) and pastries, and really nice staff.

The coffee is absolutely amazing. The service was fast and friendly. They do not offer skim milk. The only reason for the down grade is because they do not offer public bathrooms. Seems when you're serving coffee, bathrooms are necessary.

Great coffee, not a great place to hang and do work. They don't have sturdy tables and in the winter it's too cold. Also couldn't find a plug. If you're taking coffee to go, great! If not, I'd go elsewhere.

The coffee is truly fantastic. If it wasn't for this I probably wouldn't offer beyond a 2 star review though. The owners are nice but there are no bathrooms, outlets and refills are non existent. It's the only decent shop around Montrose so I'll continue to be a customer regardless.

Great coffee, great place to chill with friends. The only thing about this place is no bathrooms and it isn't a place to bring your laptop. The table are so great and there isn't a place to plug your wire.

In terms of aesthetic and service, City of Saints is brilliant. I love its interior, especially how the seats are laid out and the beautiful graffiti on the wall. The staff is incredibly friendly. The coffee is deliciously rich and strong. I loved its cappuccino! However, for working or studying, it's not my favorite cafe in this neighborhood. It has comfortable seats, and it has wifi. Hence, it has the potential to make a great study/work spot. As it is quite out of the way, you'd want it to have some of the basic necessities. But it doesn't. There is no public restroom, and a limited food menu. The snacks, to me personally, didn't look the most appetizing especially for its price (there weren't many doughnut selections as I thought there would be either). I couldn't see outlets, maybe I missed them. While I was here, periodically, there seemed to be some construction going on--that was distracting. Background EDM music could be better too, or at least less repetitive.... Rather, City of Saints is nice place to drop by for a quick coffee or just to casually hang out with people. Just warning you that it's not a cafe where you could survive for several hours, especially if you're looking for one to work at.
