Venue is quite dysfunctional since it is located on the first floor of the Chamber Of Commerce office complex and not in a typical banquet hall / events style building. I've observed several functions going on there and they are totally chaotic and mis-managed. The building is not set up for entertainment and celebratory type events, so the restrooms etc. are not capable of handling over 50 people. They are not tended to during events either, so they run out of paper products, which is just a bad situation for anyone. All in all, I would agree completely with the findings of the previous post. If you're looking for a nice, clean presentable venue for your event, I would seriously consider someplace that is setup and designed well to offer you a good experience.

Venue is outdated (old and damaged blinds, stained carpet, wrinkled and unappealing curtains). Bathrooms were disgusting and always out of toilet paper every time I visited. Owner clearly does not care about customer service. Very unprofessional in his response time (also always has a full voicemail so you can't leave a voicemail and he does not utilize email). Owner did not provide chair covers as promised so we had to use the old, damaged, and hideous chairs. Dance floor is uneven. Took 2 weeks to get our deposit back which we had to ask for. Only positive thing about this venue is the staff (if included in the package) is friendly and accommodating. Would never recommend this place or owner for that matter!

City palace manassas VA. This place has the most Horrible and dishonest owner. All he cares about is your money. He told me I can have the place till 4 am, he later ask his care taker to interrupt my party at 2am claiming it is the law in VA. By then I was out. After my friends tip his care taker, the music was turned on again. He ask you for thousands of dollars for that unkempt place. I regretted having a party there. The area has enough parking but the manager is horrible and dishonest. I don't recommend. Find Somewhere else Because You Will end Up Spending the same amount Of Money To Make that Place Looks Presentable. And he will end up messing your party for you.

I am reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. There are much better places to hold your event around the area that way nicer and professional.

It was a nightmare to deal with the owner of this banquette hall !! We had a baby shower event there, so let me share my experience with you. First of all he always made us wait for more than an hour to see the hall even my wife was pregnant. He never answers the calls. At the previous evening of the event he said that he would not open the door if we do not give him more deposit !! plus he never made any contract agreement with us, whenever I ask for the contract he kept postponing. I had to run at the last moment to give him more deposit and then after he said we cannot nail or stick anything on the wall or the sealing ! Well nailing is okay, but at least everyone allows using paper tape to stick something on the wall. Because of that terms he mentioned in last moment we had to change our decoration plan. He made me worry that weather he would open the hall on the event day or not! So the bottom point, I had very bad experience that I would never recommend this place cause of poor communications, bad customer service, giving hassle and unprofessional.
