City Palace

I haven’t been inside the City Palace, but even from the outside, it’s an impressive sight. The architecture is beautiful and full of history, making it worth a visit just to admire it.

Impressive building, well preserved and clean. It is located in front of the Barberini Museum. This whole area is full of history.

Nice building but the front desk staff was awful and rude. Just ask if we could walk inside and a woman ask me “in English” if I spoke German, I said no and she just put her arms up and was like sorry.

Amazing architecture. Really grand place.

Dieses prachtvolle Stadtschloss diente ab 1670 als Residenz der brandenburgischen Kurfürsten und preußischen Könige. Das Schloss ist mit dem Ensemble das Alten Marktes für das Potsdamer Stadtbild prägend. Es ist nach einem Bombenangriff 1945 vollständig ausgebrannt. Das heutige Neue Stadtschloss ist eine Rekonstruktion und wurde zwischen 2010 und 2013 erbaut. Heute ist es Sitz des Landtages.
