Stayed here before but never again. Even after complaining still no flushing toilet or lock changed after they allocated a key to a perfect stranger. Check the pix this place is disgusting and unsafe, managed by people who couldn’t give a toss about your safety or comfort. We had to flush the loo with a bucket!!!! Why did we stay, our work days started at 5am and finished at 8pm I guess we were to exhausted to keep fighting with management.

POSITIVES:
We loved the apartment, the location and decor. Free basement parking also a plus.
Option of a lift as well as stairs.
Have stayed here on a number of occasions, and always on the side overlooking Victoria Park. Very soundproof with the windows closed, as this side of the building faces busy Gregory Terrace. Expect traffic noise if windows are open. The Roma Street Parklands are amazing for a stroll, jog or picnic and around a 300 metre walk. Lots of amenities there.
NEGATIVES:
These are unfortunate and due to “poor or inefficient” housekeeping.
There was NO hairdryer anywhere to be found in our apartment. Very annoying as we had to go out AND purchase one.
NOT able to contact housekeeping for days, and we phoned 3 different numbers, with the same recorded message. Nobody called us back.
We needed towels for the pool, and were directed by signage to contact the onsite office from 10am. There was nobody there.
The ABSOLUTE and most inconvenient thing was that my Husband and I had to juggle our times in and out of the apartment, if doing separate activities, as we could not get a 2ND KEY due to lack of response from Management. This was rectified after a few days, when the office was "attended" and I asked for a 2nd key. I was told that 1 bedroom apartments only had 1 key provided Upon further questioning and requests, a 2nd key was provided.
OKAY, now the toiletries were disappointing. 1 bottle of shampoo and a half bottle of conditioner for 2 people. That’s all we got with a small bar of soap.
TEA and COFFEE sachets hadn’t been refilled properly. Our apartment numbe 20 had a sliding "louvre type" door separating the only bedroom from the lounge. The position of the wall mounted TV in the lounge, directly opposite the bedroom, meant that the flashing of the TV lights and sound clearly travelled into the bedroom. This was not a satifactory arrangement by any means. I soourced 2 blankets from the wardrobe and somehow hung them onto the louvre door to provide some respite from the TV, whilst I was trying to sleep and my husband was trying to enjoy watching TV.
After reading the “negatives”, please read the “positives” again, as we would consider staying here in the future, if we were certain and confident the housekeeping issues will be addressed and taken very seriously.
This was a 1 week holiday for us. Thank you.

Apartment was spotlessly clean. Room provided cooking facilities with a full kitchen and has a full laundry. Close enough for us to access both the city and an easy 25 min walk to Suncorp Stadium.

I loved staying at this place, it felt like my own little home and for half the price of what i'd pay usually anywhere else. They greeted you so nicely and made you feel comfortable from the start. Will be staying here whenever I am in Brisbane now :)

Stayed here whilst husband was in nearby hospital recently. I would recommend these apartments as they are refurbished, comfortable, and ideally located with bus closeby. Manager, Leisa, was extremely helpful and friendly.

This property is outstanding - my apartment was exceptional, huge balcony overlooking the city, high grade furnishings, very reasonably priced, close to everything, and Leisa is terrific. Highly recommend!

Yelp
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I am a world traveller who returned to live in Brisbane after living in California for 13 years. I booked a 2-bed/2-bath online from the website the accommodation looked great for $135 a night. I paid $2,000 4 months in advance to stay 15 days with my mother, sister and 2 yr old nephew. Don't be fooled by the website. The rooms are much smaller, the place is on top of a hill, so unless you're very fit, young, or have a car, be prepared to walk up and down some very large hills to get to a supermarket or to get to the city centre which is a good 45 minute walk. The buses are not regular and cabs are very expensive to get anywhere from the top of Spring Hill. The rooms are smaller than they look and are DIRTY! The kitchen was not clean and the whole apt was dusty with cobwebs out on the balcony and spiders! We had to clean the apt ourselves with products we bought ourselves from Woolworths (a 30 minute walk from the building). We arrived first week of March to 30 degree heat and 90% humidity and the pool was dirty! And the Centenary Pool up the street ($5 admission) was closed and we weren't informed about that. ! It was stinking hot in Brisbane and the pool area was dirty with dead leaves and branches in and around the pool. We couldn't let our child get into it! Such a shame when it was sooooooooo HOT!!! The bathroom shower was clogged and we had to fix it ourselves, the t.v. was all dusty as was the whole apt. The cleaned is one small skinny immigrant girl who can barely push the vacuum. We had to borrow it off her and clean the floors ourselves. The office closes at midday so if you arrive to check in after that, be prepared for nobody to be there. All of this is not even that bad, compared to HOW UTTERLY BAD THE MANAGEMENT PEOPLE ARE. They are a family of mother, daughter and father (the ony maintenance man who comes and goes regularly to Adelaide so he's basically never on-site). They are the RUDEST, most ignorant, laziest, bad attitude people I've met in my 47 yrs of life on this planet. They say on their website that they're friendly but they treat all guests, long term and short term with distain if you go to them with any issue at all! The mother and daughter are obese and lethargic and don't get off their chair from 9 am until they leave at midday. Their office is cluttered, disorganized and dirty. When we arrived I stood in the foyer for 10 minutes with my bags while the mother, Wendy, finished her personal call. All she ever did the whole 15 days I was there was be on the phone making personal calls and staring out the door to the road. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. We were waiting the 2 weesk to move into our house which was being renovated, and asked them to keep our mail for just 2 weeks which we would come collect, and they ended up returning it all to the senders without even telling us. They were so nasty to me, my sister and elderly mother - for no reason. We made no demands of them because we didn't want to be ignored or abused. The mother Wendy, is bipolar because one minute she'd be fake to us and the next, so extremely rude for no reason. The daughter, Luci is just sad, probably because she hates her job, which was not our fault. They treated everyone like crap! I intend to find out who owns this building and let them know of our bad experience and also the Brisbane health dept and fair trading dept. If you can afford to stay at a better place, please do so as you'll have a much better time in Brisbane!!!!!
