City Park

Lots of space but I don't particularly care for this park due to the cleanliness of the sitting areas. But my family reunions are held here.

This park is the biggest one we have been too. Parking could be a bit better but not a deal breaker. The surrounding area wasn’t bad as well and the people here are friendly. The playground for my kid was pretty fun. He enjoyed it and we will be back for sure. Plenty of space to do whatever outdoor sports you like.

This park doesn’t have much to offer. It is not well maintained and very dirty. There are very few bathrooms, about 5 gender neutral stalls and 2 sinks outside of the bathroom building and they are completely filthy and smelly. We went on a Sunday for a soccer game and the park was full of drunk old guys and people smoking weed. Also there wasn’t a decent sized area for people to put their chairs out to sit. Not a family friendly park at all!

Its very convenient and walk distance for me. This is the only park that I know, has a cover in the play structure are, which is great. Its clean. I have not find needle, or trash in the park. We like the workout equipment. The only deficiency is that, not enough area to have a picnic or green area to sit. The picnic table could have some improvements. There are good amount of bathrooms but really requires an update. Toilet is so hight , not toilet paper available. The sink area don't have water. However, overall is a nice park. Includes soccer field, basketball, baseball area.

This playground & park is 2 blocks from our house, so it's very conveniently located, but despite some upgrades & somewhat newer features, I feel it has sadly been neglected during the pandemic. The activity area for adults or teens, REALLY needs to be maintained. Bars are wobbly, the balance disc is no longer bolted to the cement, the adaptive swing is no longer there, the play structures are in need of safety maintenance & the playground area needs some general clean up, but that would be easily enough done with a grabber & garbage bag. The path connecting the baseball fields has been paved, which is a lot nicer than the gravel path previously had been. Overall, having been over a year since we visited, we spent over an hour there playing & we all had a COVID-safe (masked & santitized) good time.

Nice place to walk the dog on a leash. A lot of shade trees. Huge eucalyptus trees are everywhere down there providing much needed shade in the summer heat. They have bathrooms and ample parking. Usually some adult fast pitch baseball games going on at the big baseball diamonds there. The park has bbq pits and several horse shoe pits. It's got an old school feel to it and a playground for kids. I like this local park.

During vivid the cleaninginssnwould of slowed down th spread of vivid as when I was at a stop sign my back brak locked up and tire pop this day my id ,etrade card and other idifing items was either lost or stolen my truck was either stolen or towed I never got any information about it this was in 2021 police report made now certain individuals working with a Guard company has chosen to take a person vendetta out on me why I AM avitcim here please help these individuals have influence in high places i throughout the city offices where they think they could get away with what ever wheres my truck were the funds stolen that day why was my address changed to a certain address why it there a PGE Bill in my name a water bill in my name etc I am a transient SINCE wrongfully served a restring order in Antioch ca

I love this park. They take the best care of the park and a decent playground. The only problem i have is that under the gazebo there are homeless people quite often. Otherwise, love this park and best park in Pittsburg.

Horrible! My daughter and my son played on the Junior Giants for the first time and the fields, dugouts and restrooms are in such bad shape I will not be returning anytime soon. I couldn't even take my kids to use the restrooms. When you get close to the restrooms (near the park) you can smell the stench of urine before even walking through the door I stopped there and didn't even bother going in. The restrooms by the davi fields isn't any better. I got a portable little potty for toddlers for my kids to use in the car. As for me, I actually drive home to go use the restroom if I can't wait to go. There are a ton of ants everywhere, weeds growing everywhere, garbage and glass everywhere, the bleachers are falling apart, the grass on the field is dying and patchy. The area for the picnic tables is not maintained either, just overgrown trees, weeds and garbage. It needs a total clean up and routine up keep then it would be decent. Drive a little farther 15 minutes to Brentwood they have nicer parks, nicer fields and you can actually use the restrooms. My son enjoyed playing ball, that's the only reason we came here. I've only been near the davi baseball fields, the park right behind the fields and the restrooms near the park & tables. I haven't seen any other part of the park so I can't speak on it but I hope it's better than what I've seen so far

This is where my nephew plays adult baseball. There seems to always be soccer games going on, on the all weather soccer field. There is a gazebo with picnic tables for bbqs and family fun. There are 3 softball fields in the back area.

Okay location off Highway 4 and Railroad Avenue. The sports fields are pretty good, especially the soccer.

Use to be the the best park in town. The holidays. When I was a kid it had a small zoo,baseball fields, families loved it, now it's a soccer field

Well it looks like the city is starting to hear the community and do some upgrades. There is a new all weather surface basketball court with bleachers on the south side of the park. Looks great and is a wonderful addition. Also the new minor league baseball team starts june 17th. Www.mettlebaseball.com Field one improvements are awesome. Lots of good things happening in pittsburg including downtown.
