Really lovely and helpful Service!! Bedroom was quite big and clean. It had 8 beds, a table and two chairs. Amazingly close to the center of the city!! I had a beautiful View from my room, saw a church, parts of the city and the sea. But it was still really quiet, even when sleeping with an open window! You get a free city Map when you check in. I also got a few Tips where good Restaurants, shopping streets and nice places are 😍💕 also, the entrance room was nicely decorated 😉 really enjoyed my stay there!!!

Convenient to have the common rooms : kitchen, dining room. Warm welcome. Fair prices. Amazing location. But a single shower is shared with the whole floor. Have to think about before coming in the shared rooms for 6 people : the window doesn't close, so the room is really noisy and pretty cold, and everything is old school.

Seriously the reception is closed from 1pm to 4pm so you need to pay lock for 4hours 20kr. You need to bring your own linen and towel or you will have to pay 70kr extra. The price of the room sucks the bed sucks, bathroom small and kinda dirty... I don't wanna spit on that place but seriously for the price you should consider something else. At least it is in the city center, the terrace is cool but come on too pricey for that stuff ...

This is one of my favourite places to stay in Aarhus, they are kind, friendly and always easy to book, there is many options for all choices, the hostel it self is decorated with cool art pieces, beds are okay, the dorms are also okay for what you pay for, toilet and showers are shared but always super clean, the location is great, close to major bus stops, metro and the principal train station in Aarhus. There is also a offered breakfast, is pretty complete and healthy, the kitchen is huge, have many fridges and enough room to put your groceries, if you are easy going, your sleep is like a stone or else be sure to grab some ear plugs, this is a great place to stay!

Good price and location. Most of the rooms have shared bathroom, which has not great facilities. It is needed to rent or bring towels and linen. Nice common areas, especially the backyard. The reception is only open for 8-10 hours with lunch break. The bedrooms are clean.

Cute backyard, and an amazing location. However, the rooms are mediocre at best, and very disappointing for the price. The hallways and toilets are unclean and tiny, and the walls are pretty thin so the noises go a long way (especially at night). If you’re looking for a cheap hostel, there are plenty of better alternatives nearby.

The location is great, right next to the seaside and there's a lovely view of some old buildings and the public library, 'Dokk 1'. Most things are a short walk away, about 15 or so minutes. However, the rooms are very barebones, literally a bed, some plugs and a bathroom. Walls are dirty and the blinds have holed in them. The wifi here worked only 10% of the time if I was lucky and even then there would be constant disconnects. As far as service goes it is okay. You have to pay for bed sheets and towels if you don't bring your own, so the price is going to be atleast 50DKK more if you didn't bring any. Overall, it is a very basic hostel, and very much suited for people only looking for a place to sleep a couple nights, who don't mind having the room only to sleep in, as you can't do much else in it.

No mention anywhere of having to rent bedlinnen but they do charge for it once you arrive (private room so no, that's not common.. even not for a hostel). On Booking.com they state it's included and the receptionist told us 'yes, for one bed only, there's two in the room.' Didn't want to spend time arguing with crooks like these so asked for a refund, walked 1 minute to a hotel and paid the same amount with linnen included. Avoid these kinds of people in the travel business: look elsewhere and pay a little bit more, you'll be serviced better and they will go out of business. Everybody happy.

Yelp
The hostel is cosy, fantastically situated and has the cutest courtyard and common areas. But - the hostel is extremely noisy and feels a bit unsafe at night with guest running the halls and no staff present for many hours a day. I met the nicest people in the common areas, but one did not have a room, but just crashed there for the company. So, all is fine, but it depends on your travel plans. Of you are looking for a great time, parties and meeting new friends on your journey - go here! As an old fart looking for a place to crash (single room for 1) on a budget, I am not coming back. I simply didn't get the tranquil vibe I usually feel at cheap hostels and hotels. If you are looking for a budget option for a single/double-room stay in Aarhus, go with Cabinn instead. With the price of linnen rental at City Sleep-In you are almost at the same rate per night.

Yelp
This place is the worst. If you arrive between 11-4, it will seem as though nobody works there. You will sit in the lobby for hours being ignored. At around 3:30-3:45 PM, stand directly in front of the locked reception desk. When an employee does finally show up, a mob will quickly form at the desk. The man working there took nearly 10 minutes per guest at check in, and actually left the line there to get in the tiny elevator with a group and put an additional bed in a room. Bring your own towels and sheets, or be prepared to pay more. A guest in front of me was at the desk to report that his rented sheets had been stolen from the bed in his locked room while he was out. Being a hostel, some rooms do not have private bathrooms. This is a tough choice - privacy is nice, but the bathroom made our room smell like poo. The entire bathroom is a shower, and the sink drains through a pipe that ends over the shower drain. The toilet paper was pretty yellowed and water-logged. The room is somewhat like a prison cell, if the walls in prison could be punched through with a love tap. PRO TIP 1: If staying one night, use the sheets as your towels and dump them on the floor of your "shower" room to soak up some of the poo smell, helping the next guest. PRO TIP 2: Ask for a real key to your room. The electronic key cards rarely work, and the 'staff' knows it. PRO TIP 3: Just watch Hostel instead.

Yelp
Reception only open for short time in morning and evening. Loud nightclub in back street until 5:00 on weekends. Free WiFi.
