City Star Lodge

- Great location - Free parking available (our camper was too big, but there’s plenty of street parking right in front) - Everything was very clean & well maintained - Spacious, renovated & lovely room, with additional seating outside the room - Very comfortable bed/ mattress - Filtered drinking water available - Good, reliable Wi-Fi - Clean, well-kept pool (lights & palm trees create a really nice atmosphere) - Large, clean & well-equipped kitchen - Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Thanks - Cute Christmas decorations at the front — a lovely touch, We were able to check in early due to Christmas — thank you so much We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly, you are certainly made to feel welcome. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. The hotel is convenient for the major hospitals. You are a short walk to the nearest restaurants and a grocers is diagonally opposite . All in all I can thoroughly recommend the City Star.

We stopped here for a night while travelling from Adelaide. What a gem! This place is lovely. The facilities snd rooms are clean, not overly stocked but with everything you would need for a short stay, kind staff and the pool is a win with the kids! We will stay again

We asked for a ground floor room which was provided. The room was luxurious and the kitchenette was ideal for our needs. The pool was outside our room situated inside a courtyard which was comfortable and safe. The pineapple hotel was across a park very convenient for meals. The staff Were kind and friendly. Will definitely return in the future.

Very friendly staff, and the woman at reception was exceptionally nice and helpful. Great overall service too. The heavenly mattrasses were the most comfortable I've experienced in a long time. Nice, convenient location as well, near the riverwalks, lots of eating places and amenities.

We recently spent the weekend at City Star Lodge for Riverfire and it and unexpected surprise. While the hallway to the room seemed a little tired the room itself was amazing. The room was spacious, immaculate and well stocked with what you need. The bed was comfortable, towels big and fluffy, and the staff were all friendly and upbeat making you feel welcome right from the start. They were informative when asked about local options. Will definitely stay again when in Brisbane.

Stopped here for six nights recently. |I was generally happy with this. My room was tidy and bed comfortable. Bathroom area was fine. I had a couple of dealings with the reception and they were most helpful. Location-wise, this is a relatively short walk (1.5miles?) into central Brisbane and really well situated for the Gabba. There are good public transport links I used a few times during my visit and public transport is very well priced in Brisbane. |As per other reviews, there are steps here so if that is an issue you may want to ask for a downstairs room. Also, the room was quite loud at night so if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend ear plugs.

Reception /Admin staff are super friendly, helpful and informative. Has secure car park. Best place to stay if you have any work on Brisbane South side.
