I had to change rooms once due to different booking so I tried both window (superior) and non window (standard) room.
For standard room, there is window in the non window room but the window just can't open. Room is relatively smaller than superior room but it is still wide and spacious. The room I got was next to the water refill machine and the staff exit so it can get a bit loud if the staff slams the door but it didn't affect me.
For superior room, you can open the window and there is a balcony. Depending where your room faces, the sun can get really bright but black out curtains do the trick just well. On certain floors there are complementary snacks and drinks but not all. There was a bath tub in my room.
Pros:
- This hotel has good facilities, is modern, good service and very clean
- There was sale when I booked and the price didn't increase much when I checked same day booking
- The hotel is directly in front of Love Pier which was great for walking and sight seeing. There was a weekend market when I was there.
- Light rail within 5mins walk
- For female lone travellers, I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind traveling a bit far from the city.
Cons:
- Far from city center, takes 30mins by public transport to go to city center
- There is a Ok Mart downstairs but options are little
- For a hotel so good, I was surprised the breakfast was just soso
