City Suites

We had a wonderful stay at City Suites in Tauranga! The place was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located—close to everything in town. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. A special mention to Sam at reception, who was cheerful, professional, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He kindly arranged an early check-in for us when we arrived tired from our trip, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend City Suites for a relaxing and convenient stay in Tauranga! 🌟

I really enjoyed my stay 😍 Bathroom is perfect, shower is in a good pressure. Bed is very comfortable. Clean and quiet. Staff is awesome ☺️ Specially sam . He is manager there i am coming last two years he is very professional, efficient and polite . Accepted early check in we do have sometime. See you soon sam☺️

Absolutely loved my stay. Lovely room with a welcoming atmosphere. Modern, comfortable and clean. Reception was very accommodating in regards to some of the barriers I had that would have affected my ability to check in if I was staying somewhere else 10/10 rating for me. If I need to book accommodation in Tauranga again, I will be back! Thanks City Suites Tauranga ☺️

I was very impressed with City Suites accommodation when I stayed there recently. A nice host, who dealt patiently with my lack of technology knowledge. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, and a kitchenette with all the necessary equipment. The huge bed was very welcoming, and as soon as my head hit the pillows, I slept like a log until woken by alarm clock in the morning. A big plus was the locked basement carpark, and a lift to help get my luggage to my room on first floor. Not only that, there were also luggage trolleys like at airports, which I've never come across before at accommodation, and both the trolley and lift were a great relief for me as senior lady. Also I felt very safe when I had to go to my car at 11pm for something that I'd forgotten. Another bonus was that it was just a short walk to the Cafe on the Strand for a delicious breakfast and nice view of the sea. I recommend you try them too. All in all I'd love to stay at City Suites again, and highly recommend it to others. It's well deserving of the five stars I'm giving it. Thank you city suites for a very pleasant stay!

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at City Suites for 5 days and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything – shops, restaurants, and all the main attractions are just a short walk away. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering a perfect space to relax after a day out. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sam at reception, who went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay. His warm and professional attitude made a real difference. This was my first stay at City Suites, and I’m already looking forward to returning. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting – whether for business or leisure. A true gem!

Excellent location, very tidy and clean. The smart TV is very big with rich channels. The heat pump works well, with a little bit odd smell when running. Overall speaking, a recommended place for traveller.

Extremely poor stay experience. There were strange noises coming from inside the wall at night, which startled me awake while I was sleeping. I recorded the noise and reported it to the front desk, but the staff did not care in the least and offered no help to resolve the issue. In short, if you want a good rest, do not choose this hotel.

very disappointed. we were booked, but had to cancel our room as we thought we were needing more beds. nothing showed up when I cancelled to say I'd be charged. within a day, I rebooked, paying $30 more, but I didn't care. the place was nice but did STINK of beach when we entered our room so had to air it out for an hour. everything else was fine with the room..... until I checked my credit card and the cheeky buggers had charged me twice, for both the cancellation and the actually night we stayed, and even with explanation, they won't refund the initial booking cancellation fee. so they got $354 for me and my little girl to stay for ONE night when I called, they said it's booking.com.that arrange the refund. booking dot com told me it's the owners definitely lacking integrity, honesty and customer care. it's a shame because we actually thought it was an ok place. as regular travellers it could have been an excellent option for our trips. definitely don't recommend them now
