City Waters Motel

Service was very good. Room had a full kitchen and spacious interior. Toilet was leaking so we had to turn the tap off and in between uses. Clean beds with blankets. Plenty of power points. Room was clean and basic. Met our needs. Lots of noise throughout the night from other guests and the curtains didn't completely block out the light.

The motel is absolutely disgusting! Nothing like the photos or descriptions! The room was dirty and smelled probably from the old carpet! I arrived with my 2 children and we felt very unsafe. People around were drinking and very noisy! Old mattresses were laying out on the street and it looked horrible. We ended up not staying and I asked for a refund. The receptionist got in contact with the manager and no one was willing to give me a refund or a partial refund! It was a quiet stressful experience as we had to find another hotel after a long travel trip. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money on this hotel!!!

It is cheap but comfy bed. Walking distance from city. Clean and kitchen well equipped. Perfect for a night or two near the city.

Not what I was expecting. Told about the $300 bond on arrival. Room was old. Location is good. Not sure on the cleaners skills for cleaning. Chunk of soap on the bathroom wall, room service was once while I was there for 4 days and then it was bad, bed sheets were only thrown back up, tucked back under and my towel was sort of folded on bed. Took 2 attempts to get my $300 bond back. First email was for only $200, 2nd email was for the $300. Which they tell you that the bank had to release it but the bank had no idea. Would not stay there again.

service is horrid - practically non existent. the only useful member of staff was the lady behind the desk. everyone else seems constantly lost and confused. there’s also no access to the amenities that come with paying for the overpriced room. cleaning services are relentlessly loud. sound travels easily through the walls; there’s no privacy at all. the parking is atrocious and it’s a joke expecting cars to move in and out of such a tight space. the gate doesn’t close, making it accessible to anyone roaming the streets at 2am in the morning. it’s just not safe. the only thing worth utilising this motel for is its location, as its central to most basic needs.

Everything 0/5 READ THE REVIEWS!! cleanliness- cockroaches, Ants, rubbish behind the bed side tables, floors disgusting! Dirty sheets left outside rooms for days in the rain, Rubbish outside rooms left for days. Beds- uncomfortable, 1 soft pillow each, Felt like we were sleeping on the mattress not a pillow. Housekeeping- didn’t come. “Leave towels on the floor to be cleaned everyday” nothing had been touched in my room 2 days in a row. Security for vehicles.. non existent, Gate to get in doesn’t lock, leaving your vehicle in a non secure area. Security for your room was probably the best. Smoke alarm was covered in a plastic shower cap. Not sure if staff or previous stayers Privacy, not great. Curtains don’t close all the way, allowing people to see inside your room from the other taller buildings next door. Had to use our bags to keep curtains shut. Locals able to get into the property causing a ruckus, fighting and breaking anything possible to use as a weapon. Jumping fences next door to do the same. (Could see from our window) Locals that live in the rooms with family’s, Screaming kids at stupid hours of the night. Property says 2 story building but is actually 3 story’s. False advertising with pictures of the rooms. No information about how to get into the property upon arrival , had to park car down the street and walk just to hopefully get a park inside the property.

The Room 116 has a broken sink, coffee stains on the bed, small shower. The good parts are that the beds were comfy, kitchen in good condition and the door was securely locked shut

been 8 days and still haven’t received my $200 deposit back. they tried to say it was the bank that need to release it, called my bank and they told me the merchant is responsible for that. the kitchen was infested with roaches, mould and it was disgusting. i have called MULTIPLE times about my deposit but they still are refusing to release the money.
