City West Motel

I had an amazing experience staying at City West Motel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Great value for money, exceptional service, and a comfortable, clean room. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend City West Motel to anyone visiting the area

Booked and paid for, upon arrival after hours 7-8 pm I knocked on the back door, voice behind it says we’re closed. Tried ringing , straight to voicemail no return call, 930 pm contacted the booking agent. They rang same thing voice mail no return call. 10-1030 booking agent was finally able to make contact, city west tells them they are booked out. 2 cars in the car park all but 1-2 rooms were blacked out the whole time. City west management stood behind the door inside looking at me wondering what I was doing the whole time not once did they open the door or any attempt to make contact. The place looks like an absolute dive anyway, I probably wouldn’t let a cockroach stay the nite there. Request denied. Not a word of it is in anyway untrue.

Stayed here before and was fantastic but this particular time was given room 7 i could not tell the difference between the air con and jet planes overhead the air con was as noisy as all get out, then they must be doing renovations as the finished about five then came back at 930 it was horrific they must have been working directly above my room, all in all pretty shabby was most dissappointed and pissed off. Please at least get the air con fixed, can sort of understand the renose. Dissappointed Mal

Location is excellent, room is basic and aged. Could do with some updating, planes going over annoyed my wife. Thanks for having us

We stayed in rm9. On the positive the bed was very comfortable, but on the negative the airconditioner was so loud that we were unable to use it, which made the room stuffy and unpleasant. The door skin was coming apart and the door lock was very loose, my husband tightened. The sliding door to the bathroom was the wrong side of the floor runner so my husband fixed that also. We had to place the desk in front of the door as we felt unsafe with the lock. I cant say the other rooms are the same but defineately do not stay in rm9, unless they fix the issues.

This would be one of the best motels we have stayed at. It was very quiet day and night, no traffic noise even though it is on a main road. |The manager and staff were absolutely amazing. We have never experienced such wonderful room service. |Room was very spacious and comfortable and cleaned every day and clean towels. They even washed up our coffee cups every day.|The manager was great, making sure we got to the Adelaide Bus Center in time to go on our Murray River cruise. I think I have found my city home away from home. Room comfortably appointed, staff helpful and responsive, location ideal for easy access to the Adelaide Metro transport network. Close to the city. We had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend in the city.

I took a chance on this motel as was needing a last minute room. I was very surprised. I got here and was made welcome from the get go. Very helpful. The room was basic as expected but comfortable and nice. Everything was really clean. Good sized bathroom for a motel room this style and lovely big shower. Awesome shower head and nice smelling body wash and hand soap. Don’t think there was a power point in the bathroom for hairdryer etc but the one on the wall in the main area was close and I made it work. There’s also a nice little outdoor space if needed. Being under the flight path for the airport might be an issue for some but I loved hearing the planes go over. Close to city and airport. If you want a nice place to put your head down for the night at a reasonable price then this is it.

The best. My little home away from home. They are super nice. The rooms aren't fancy but they are clean, tidy and have everything you need. Free fast wifi!! I hate paying for wifi in motels I just won't do it. The people that own it are great!! If you need wd40 for you car or some little something or whatever they will help you, you can buy little items of food or maybe something you forgot to pack in the front office area. It's safe, well run. I always stay here.
