City West Motel

Not from Adelaide.. drove almost 5 hours - ordered dinner... discovered we had no utensils in room. Rang number that was told to call if any issues - person on other end said they couldnt get to us for 30mins. 30mins had passed i messaged and asked how they went... they said "sorry I got caught up at the chemist" so left it a while longer. An hour and a half had passed since 1st phone call.. tried calling again - no answer. Left me dry and hanging. Had to eat our dinner like animals. Disgusting Customer service!! Will NOT return. Only stayed because it was less than a 5min walk from our venue the next day. Air conditioning unit is dodgy. Had to play around with it a bit before it would work. Walls are paper thin... heard our neighbours all night and the next morning at 5am 🙄🙄 few shady creatures appear to have been staying there looking for "ciggie butts" late arvo too.. Chose to lock everything in my car as didnt feel it'd be safe in the room when we went for a walk to a nearby playground.

I made my booking for 30 Nov 25 through booking.com and nowhere in the blurb about this motel did it state that it was a 2 storey place and that there are no lifts. So therefore it didn't occur to me to request a ground floor room. When I arrived I discovered this was the case. I am unable to use stairs. The receptionist was friendly but was unable to help me. So I had to sit in reception and arrange accommodation elsewhere and order a taxi to get there. Because I had made the last minute cancellation there was no refund. Please advertise your motel as being two storeyed and not having a lift.

Really close to the bus stops for the J1 and J2 lines, making it easy to get to from the airport. It's located in a pretty quiet area of Adelaide so it was a comfortable stay. They also offer contactless/after hours check in through key locks on the doors, they send you an email/SMS with the details the day of.

So many reasons to love this motel: - lovely & friendly service, very communicative owner/receptionist - value for money and affordable price - family and kid-friendly (good beds) - the room is very clean, well maintained, tidy, spacious and comfortable - plenty of parking - fully equip mini pantry as well with microwave, plates, bowls, utensils etc. - self check in/out if the room is ready - quiet area as well so you can rest properly Many many many thanks City West Motel 💯🫶 Definitely will return to this motel again in the future.

Booked and paid for, upon arrival after hours 7-8 pm I knocked on the back door, voice behind it says we’re closed. Tried ringing , straight to voicemail no return call, 930 pm contacted the booking agent. They rang same thing voice mail no return call. 10-1030 booking agent was finally able to make contact, city west tells them they are booked out. 2 cars in the car park all but 1-2 rooms were blacked out the whole time. City west management stood behind the door inside looking at me wondering what I was doing the whole time not once did they open the door or any attempt to make contact. The place looks like an absolute dive anyway, I probably wouldn’t let a cockroach stay the nite there. Request denied. Not a word of it is in anyway untrue.

I had an amazing experience staying at City West Motel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Great value for money, exceptional service, and a comfortable, clean room. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend City West Motel to anyone visiting the area

This would be one of the best motels we have stayed at. It was very quiet day and night, no traffic noise even though it is on a main road. |The manager and staff were absolutely amazing. We have never experienced such wonderful room service. |Room was very spacious and comfortable and cleaned every day and clean towels. They even washed up our coffee cups every day.|The manager was great, making sure we got to the Adelaide Bus Center in time to go on our Murray River cruise. Stayed here before and was fantastic but this particular time was given room 7 i could not tell the difference between the air con and jet planes overhead the air con was as noisy as all get out, then they must be doing renovations as the finished about five then came back at 930 it was horrific they must have been working directly above my room, all in all pretty shabby was most dissappointed and pissed off. Please at least get the air con fixed, can sort of understand the renose. Dissappointed Mal

The best. My little home away from home. They are super nice. The rooms aren't fancy but they are clean, tidy and have everything you need. Free fast wifi!! I hate paying for wifi in motels I just won't do it. The people that own it are great!! If you need wd40 for you car or some little something or whatever they will help you, you can buy little items of food or maybe something you forgot to pack in the front office area. It's safe, well run. I always stay here.
