City Zen offers one of the most stunning views of the Acropolis in Athens! The view is absolutely breathtaking, especially in the evening. The cocktails were great and the atmosphere was relaxing and stylish. A perfect spot to enjoy good drinks with an unforgettable view highly recommended!

After enjoying the ancient monuments in the Acropolis area, we decided to have dinner at City ZEN All Day Bar Restaurant. The reason we chose this place was that an older gentleman at the entrance warmly greeted us earlier in the day, so we went upstairs to make a dinner reservation and requested outdoor seating to enjoy the view of the Acropolis as it lit up from sunset to night. However, we noticed that the staff repeatedly emphasized the 25-euro minimum spend per person when we were ordering. While we didn’t mind, we observed that other tables seemed to only order a beer and leave, which made us wonder if there was some form of differential treatment. Additionally, we asked a female server for forks three times, and although she said she would bring them, they never arrived. Despite these service issues, we were satisfied with the food and ambiance. The price was reasonable, and the sunset and night views were stunning. It made for a very enjoyable evening with family on our first day in Athens.

Monastiraki area! The heart of Athens! After shopping,needed to have a small bite and enjoy Acropolis view. That's how I discovered one the most beautiful terrace in Athens !! Weather wasn't my alley so I sat on the level below,on the 4th floor! Surprise surprise!An old sewing workshop transformed in an all day bar restaurant!!! Sat on the balcony, Acropolis standing in glory right across of me! A very well-spent evening!! Highlighted on my calendar,when the weather gets better, to visit the terrace !a true gem!!! Can't wait to enjoy my cocktails during summer up there!!

Nice spot with a great view, the service is great BUT there’s something worth mentioning. The waiters kept asking “have you finished” it wasn’t that busy plenty of tables were empty, we ordered some drinks and desert and they started asking in less than an hour which felt a bit off like they were rushing us. Other than that everything was nice and I really hope that somehow this review will reach their team.

the servers are really nice and very helpful and the place is gorgeous but the food is just really not it. it was just incredibly boring and overpriced. the pasta with chicken tasted like something you would feed a 3 year old with just pure cream and nothing else. and the chicken was so dry and tasteless. most of the other food was very sad as well and the greeksalat had feta with vanilla in it?? weird experience but i’d say if you are just here for drinks it would be really good since the view if just perfect.

City Zen is located in the heart of Plaka. As a rooftop spot, it can be a bit tricky to find, but it's absolutely worth the effort. This cozy rooftop offers stunning views of the Acropolis, creating the perfect atmosphere for drinks and unforgettable moments. The DJ adds a lively yet relaxed vibe, enhancing the overall ambiance. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring you're well taken care of throughout your visit. Like many restaurants in Athens, don’t expect luxury or extravagance City Zen embraces a more laid-back, authentic charm. And that’s exactly what makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Greek experience.

We organized a bday party and it was 5 stars experience - starting with food, service (thanks to Kostas and Dimitri), spectacular view and great food and drinks! Highly recommend!
