Really wish I could give this place at least 10 stars. The rooms were lovely, modern and clean. For a property outside the city centre, the location was perfect, with only a short walk (3 - 4 mins) to the tram station connecting you to the city. The food and service at Lucia’s were top notch, lovely breakfast options, suitable for adults & children. That said, the best thing about this place is the staff. I have stayed in a lot of places in different countries and I always desire to leave after 1 - 2 weeks. However, my experience at Cityden Zuidas was pleasant all through my stay without a single reason to complain. The warmth, care and efficiency of all the staff was impressive and commendable. Dear Cityden Zuidas team - Essi , Jorg, Vivian, Georgios, Pablo, Kato, Anna, Francesca, Elisa, Galia, Mike, Niloufar, Amy, Estella, Jasmin, Fahros, Heidi, Dennis, Pappe, Antje, Juliana and the entire team many thanks for making our stay awesome. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

I loved the room. It was super comfy. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and nutritious, and I absolutely loved the location. Nice and quaint and Tram 5 takes you right into the heart of Amsterdam. And I loved chatting with the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend it.

Our stay was perfect! The room did get a little warm as there is only one vent, but still a comfortable temperature. The hotel is extremely close to the tram and can get you into Amsterdam quick!

All is great! Next tram , and simple access to Amsterdam. The apartment has all the amenities and adequate space. The only downside would be the thickness of the walls; you can hear the neighbors. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Thank you for the welcome; all the staff were very friendly and polite!

Great stay for families! We stayed here for a few days with our kids and really liked it. The apartment was clean, modern, and had everything we needed — especially the kitchen and laundry. The area is quiet but well connected to the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful apartment room with everything we needed. Everything was very clean and staff were friendly. The location is a little bit out of the way, but you can get to the centre easily enough by tram and then a metro.

This hotel is located in a nice, quiet area, with a public transport station just 2 minutes away. It takes about 30–40 minutes to reach the city center. The room we stayed in was quite small but suitable for two people. The floor was a bit dirty, although the rest of the room was clean. It had a spacious shower and some basic kitchen amenities. One thing I didn’t like was the deposit policy. While taking a deposit is understandable, the hotel only accepts bank cards. I realize that cash isn’t widely used in Amsterdam, but for tourists staying just 1–3 days, this can be inconvenient — not every traveler has a card that might work abroad or card at all. If your card isn’t accepted in the Netherlands, you simply won’t be able to stay here and won’t be welcomed? This is something you have to consider before staying there. Another issue is the refund process: the hotel promises to return the deposit within 24 hours after check-out. Again, this may be problematic for short-term visitors who are already out of the country by then — what if there’s a delay or issue with the refund? There’s a small tourist and snack shop on-site. Some members of the reception staff were very helpful, while others were less so.

I booked an apartment for three people at the exorbitant price of €400 for three nights, almost four months in advance, with NO CANCELLATION OR REFUNDS. Furthermore, the tourist tax (a tax charged by the city council) was not included, and I had to pay another €41. The "company policy" is to also charge a deposit of no less than €150, which is actually a deposit that is returned upon departure in case the guest vandalizes the facilities, but they don't check anything upon departure. If the payment falls close to the weekend, the refund date is not honored, and the money is held for a whole week. If you want to check in a couple of hours early, they charge you an additional €45. Breakfast, for the modest price of €21.50, is reduced to just €18.50 when you stay there. And finally, for the capsule coffee machine, they charge four for three people for three days, and they have the nerve to charge one euro per capsule if you want coffee. The Wi-Fi connection leaves much to be desired. It's clear that the richest countries are the least generous.
