We had a great stay at CityInn Taipei Station. The customer service was amazing. The elevator wasn't working one day, so they called us to inform us and apologize. As we walked down the stairs another staff apologized and we were given a free gift of nice toiletries for our inconvenience during check out.
We booked a no window room, but we got a free upgrade to a window room. The view was an alley but it's still a window. The room is small but has everything we needed. There was no closet but some hooks and hangers by the mirror. Shower pressure and temperature was great. Also had a fancy bidet from Japan.
Walls are a bit thin. We could hear people above or below us talking loudly and laughing after 12am.
The wifi was inconsistent but the front desk loaned a private modem to us and it solved everything!
Free instant noodles, snacks, coffee, milk tea, laundry and detergent was unexpected.
There's a service for breakfast delivery from Fuhang Soy Milk, but it's a very limited selection and items were not as crisp due to delivery time. Nice not to wait in those long lines though.
Location vey near Taipei main station. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!
