Very good location, easy and convenient for walking to Taipei main station (near exit Z6), bus stop, opposite to local food market and craft beer restaurant. Room and facilities are very good (bed, shower, etc.), clean, great service from front reception to house keeper. Appreciated on surprised birthday decoration, card and cake in room for my wife while check-in. It is very easy to access hotel rather than being in the big tower. We had experience at the other hotel in this are but now we found that this one is very much better. Thank you so much and we will surely come back again. Kob khun krub. Highly recommended.

This is a solid budget hotel with newly renovated rooms and bathrooms. We had reserved 5 nights via Agoda for a Twin Room with a City View. We were not initially given a City-View room though. When I discovered our first room had no such view, I asked, and we were moved to a City View room but even smaller than the first room. The next day, the manager said a slightly bigger City View room had become available, so we moved into that bigger room (172 sq ft).||The City View room had 2 windows that looked across the street of old windows and rusted pipes; so no view to be appreciated. We just kept the window shades down throughout our stay. ||This hotel had about 60 rooms, not the high-rise building I expected from the photos. However this hotel had the following Pros:|a) free water dispenser (hot, warm, cold) so you can refill and reduce plastic|b) they also provided 2 free plastic bottles of water each day|c) 2 washers and dryers for laundry|d) within 5 minutes of a Pepper Cake corner store where they make fresh pork and scallion baos that are cooked in a tandori-like oven. We ate one every time we walked by there. These were even better than the famous stand at Rao He Night Market (which is the best night market in Taipei with the most diverse food choices)|e. there are many other good eateries around there.|e) you can walk 12 minutes to the airport express MRT line||Cons:|a) small rooms|b) had shower gel and shampoo dispensers, but the body lotion was provided in small plastic packets.|c) bathroom had no place to hang the second bath towel||Other than the initial room assignment incident, the staff was super friendly and helpful for whatever directions we needed. They even gave me a birthday-card.

Room space is limited but as i am s single occupant, is fine. 2 luggages of a large and another small size, it pose some difficulty to have both opened up. Location is great, very near to taipei main station, shopping mall, many eateries and family marts around hotel. Picked this hotel for its budget friendly rate. Picked a non window room type, room 310. Sound proof is not as great, however it doesn’t bother me as much. Hotel also provides free washer, dryer and detergent, which is a big help.

It was my birthday the day we checked in but I didn’t mention or tell the staff about it. After we came back and shower, around 2200 at night the phone rang and I was like omg what happened , was it a complaint ?but my kids were watching YouTube quietly ? Then the staff said oh Ms. Xxx thanks for staying with us and we know it is ur birthday today, we have prepare something for you may we send it up now? I was of cuz say yes sure! It was a bday card with staff writing blessings and along with a cheese cake. Though it’s just a cheese cake from a convenient store, it’s very tasty and this little gesture just made me feel so surprised and sweet !!! Cuz I never expected anything from them!!! Staff were all helpful and with a big smile every time I see them.Nice drinks corner with local instant noodles at night!Very clean room as well!

We stayed at City Inn in Taichung and chose to stay at City Inn for our Taipei leg as well. We had a great experience at both! They upgraded us to a bigger room with lovely windows. Amenities provided were great, free cup noodles at night, snacks and drinks throughout. Front desk service was lovely - one of the male receptionist greeted us every night when we got back. They also helped us store our bags after check-out and booked an airport taxi for us. Location was so convenient - near the main station - and there were so many good stuff around us. Would come back again!

This is the second time I stayed here. The location is very good, walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions, Taipei Main Station and shopping mall, restaurants, etc. I like the Bidet toilet seat. My room doesn’t have a window but it is quiet, I don’t hear the noise on the street. I also like their automatic coffee machine, complimentary snacks and bottle water.

Location is superb if only you want to convenience by taking airport express mrt from taipei main station to taoyuan airport. This hotel is near the taipei main station, and if you go up street level, it save a lot of the hassle of finding ways underground. Lot of eateries around hotel, not to mention those at taipei main station. Room space is limited for 2 M 26” luggages, and its sound proof is weak. Cleaning room starts 7-5pm and you’ll hear a lot door opening and closing sound of other rooms. Room 309 i had, faced a back windows of another building, it looks scary in night. Hotel comes with free washer and dryer as well as free detergent, a super plus besides its location. Reception ladies are superb friendly and helpful. This is the next plus of this hotel. Hotel also offered delivery service for Fu Heng dou hua (set nt180), i strongly recommend to go and queue yourself as food turned lukewarm when it arrived, may not to your liking to taste at its best. Overall, is a budget-friendly hotel on its location, reception service, free laundry amenity.

The hotel is conveniently located and good value. Big shoutouts to the front desk staff who were always so friendly and helpful. Also would like to thank Adam at the front desk for being so helpful, we misunderstood something about the laundry and he helped sort things out for us. Love that they offer free laundry, as well as coffee/tea/snacks for guests. Only areas of improvement that I can think of would be for better wifi speed and to improve the sound proofing, as you can definitely hear people in the hallways and sometimes in the rooms next door.
