Wonderful location in the CBD with spacious, comfortable rooms and a really lovely staff. I arrived very early due to my flight, so, obviously, my room was far from ready. The staff was not only helpful with storing my bags, but also offered me a shower and breakfast. They continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and made for an excellent welcome to Auckland!

Extremely impressed with this hotel in both its location and quality. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We hired a suite with a kitchen and washing machine and everything worked beautifully. The towels were large and fluffy and the amenities were high-quality. The shower pressure was extremely good! I would’ve liked a room with a bath like I’ve seen in the photos. I thought I might of requested it? But maybe I forgot. The beds here are incredibly soft and lovely. Very nice quality. However, they could use a few memory foam pillows in the cupboards so that people who like firm pillows could grab one as the pillows are very soft too. The daily housekeeping service was fantastic and the pool was lovely and warm. We asked for a quiet room and we had a beautiful view from level 23. The only drawback with the noise from the ceiling vents at night. The split systems are a lovely touch to keep you comfortable but it seems the old air system is still working 24/7. One more comfort that could be added would be the ability to cast to the televisions from your phone. It’s a small thing but being able to cast your my own shows is something I missed! apart from that, I was incredibly impressed with the quality and comfort. It’s much better than the high-end suites I book in Sydney. I’m going to try this brand of hotel in Australia now and I would definitely rebook here in a heartbeat when I come back to New Zealand.

As advertised! This is so nice, the room was clean, large, had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Brian was very helpful and understanding when our flight arrived very early. They were accommodating by holding out bags and letting us check in early. Would stay here again!!

The kindness that the night staff showed my husband and myself when we arrived at 5am after a 12 hour flight was so unexpected. We were so thankful!! They took care of our bags and let us freshen up in the gym before exploring the city. The location is perfect- with the University of Auckland nearby, the vibe is one of a great college town with numerous cafes/restaurants, parks surrounding you. The room was spacious even though it was not a suite. I did not hear any noise from neighbors. || It was a perfect hotel experience!!

We stayed at Premier 2 Bedroom Apartment for 2 nights. The whole apartment is spacious and clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. One of the bathroom has a bathtub. This hotel is located in the city center and close to fish market. Parking fee is $45 per night.

A completely underwhelming place to stay! Off season mid winter and not full, but look at the view they gave us! If you’re staying 3 nights, I would expect they would plan which rooms they put people in. So grey, not even a cushion on the couch. Just look at the view, from the outside you can see better views. The rooms are nice and large. However, my next gripe is that mid swim another group informed me there was a poo in the pool. I called down to let reception know. But, they didn’t send up mineral water to flush my system, no apologies or voucher to a local spa. No glass of wine…. Absolutely nothing to reverse my VILE experience. I couldn’t shower enough.

I have stayed in hotels worldwide and City Life in Auckland is truly the best. I was here for a week visiting my grandsons who are attending the University. The one-bedroom apartment has a full kitchen and sitting area plus a washer and dryer. The views from the 21st floor are amazing. My highest compliments to the cleaning staff who cleaned and refreshed the room every day with a friendly smile and always asked if I needed anything. The staff at the front desk was extraordinary. A shout-out to Shrutika who took me in her car to an event when my Uber was late, and guided me to places I needed to go in Auckland. You could not ask for a more congenial and accommodating staff. I highly recommend City Life with the perfect location on Queen Street, an easy walk to great restaurants, shopping, and events at the Theatre and Sky City.

What a great location. Right by all the shops and only around 400m to the Harbour. The central location made this so accessible. Apartments, were very roomy. A full kitchen, lounge and dining area. Newly, renovated. Staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early and leave late! Would highly recommend. |Swimming pool and gym on-site. Uber from the airport to hotel is around $60
