Really nice place to stay. Was expecting a fairly standard hotel room but it was more of a suite. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was greatly appreciated. ||It's a little tricky to get to by car so if you don't need one, leave it behind. We didn't use our rental car the whole time we stayed here. Walking distance to Te Papa Museum and the harbor, Cuba Street, restaurants, and shops. The Cable Car to the botanical gardens and shuttle to Zealandia are a block or so away.||Staff were not overly friendly or helpful (but not rude), but we wanted a place to be independent so that was fine. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, it had everything we needed for a family. The location was spot on. A bus stop (on Lambton Quay directly opposite hotel not the driveway entrance) was fantastic, easy access from the airport and to all the attractions we visited (weta workshop, zoo and airport) and everything else we could go on foot. The kids enjoyed catching the bus. Minutes from a woolworths supermarket and the cable car. The hotel was really clean and quiet, great water pressure too. Loved that it had a washing machine and dryer as it was quite wet and with kids, that made life easier. A good kitchen layout with a small dishwasher, oven, cook top microwave made planning kids meals very easy. The room had a good amount of space and I would definitely stay again. The staff were lovely and found one of the kids hand held gamers left behind and couriered to us, really appreciated that. |We got snapper cards at the wellington airport when we landed - exit E I think, had a blue dispensing machine. Couldnt get kids ones though, only adults, but it was easy to use the app on your phone and top up, a very convenient way to get around. |The location of the hotel is very convenient with a short walk to a playground near TSB arena and can easily walk to Te Papa too.

Pros: ||24 hour reception - much needed as our flight from Sydney arrived at 11.50pm||I We stayed for 4 nights. a week and booked a one bedroom apartment which wis very spacious.||All the staff were friendly and helpful, the size & cleanliness, the location can not be beaten.||The free coffee for the supplied plunger. ||Check Out at 11am not the standard 10am, the extra hour is much appreciated. ||Cons:|The apartment only had one window in the corner so little natural light and no view, but as I was out during the day this was only very minor, and not really a con.

WOW!!!Thank you for making our stay in Wellington so wonderful! Our rooms were clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were amazing to deal with throughout! They were extremely kind and helpful and went out of their way to assist us. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Thank-you team.

We stayed four nights, after booking well in advance. The room was very large but had one window, facing the back fire escape. No real sun, so no natural light. As it was a long stay, the room was only going to be made up every three days. Single bedroom apartment, no bath. Toilet seat kept falling down. Bed was OK. Fittings were worn in kitchen, but working. Checkout is 11am, but we were locked out of the lift by 10:40. Close to everything, and quiet.

Location is fantastic, if you have one day in Wellington, it’s perfect, just 50 metres from the cable car. However, the WiFi didn’t work, and they forgot to switch on the boiler, so we had no hot water in the evening. The room is a bit old, but the location really is amazing.

We are extremely disappointed with the airport shuttle arrangement provided by the hotel. The hotel knew we had very little luggage, yet they arranged a large vehicle without consulting us in advance or informing us of the cost. As a result, we ended up paying nearly double the normal price for a service we did not request. This is completely unacceptable. We expected clear communication and transparency from a hotel of this standard, but instead we were charged extra without any prior notice or consent. It left us feeling deceived and very dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I stay in Wellington a lot and I think this the best hotel I've stayed in. Everything was just perfect; the drop off and pick up area, the access to the main street, the room, the bed, the amount of milk and coffee, the shower pressure. Even the breakfast options at Sierra cafe were perfect. Will stay here from now on.
