"The city’s most beloved park offers a lot of open space and picnic spots. Here you’ll find ping pong tables, free yoga classes in the summer, and boat rentals at the pond. Be sure to climb the steps above the fountain in the center for a great photo. The Barcelona Zoo is just steps away, as well.Barceloneta Beach — Where Barcelona meets the water, Barceloneta Beach begins. Lined with restaurants and outdoor bars, Barceloneta always feels like a party. Conditions permitting, you’ll even find surfers here catching small Mediterranean waves.   Bogatell Beach — One beach over from Barceloneta is Bogatell Beach. The scene here is a little more low-key, and the seafood and paella restaurants that line this shore have a more relaxed, beachy feel. A bit like large beach huts since they have no walls, the restaurants are called  chiringuitos and are as much of a draw as the beach itself. It’s a lovely walk here from Barceloneta.Badalona — Beyond the Barceloneta and Bogatell Beaches is Badalona, reachable by metro. This is a low-key suburb of Barcelona where prices are cheaper and tourists are far fewer. Badalona has two big clubs: El New Cel with its salsa, bachata, and zouk dancing and Titus with its showier vibe where dudes go to flex their muscles and girls wear sky-high heels. Don’t bother staying at the beach until these dance spots open up as it will have been dark for hours. Instead, consider a sunrise beach walk after you spill out of the clubs." - MATADOR_NETWORK

We went here for some relaxation and to see the park. It was lovely, some great architecture alongside some very good outdoor space. There were toilets here but they were locked so plan ahead. There is a large car park but we walked from our hotel. It is locked at night so don’t stay once it gets dark. It’s a dog friendly park with no leads required also. Well worth a visit if you’re in Barcelona.

A perfect escape from hustle and bustle of urban Barcelona life. I visited it in February and still was great. You can find places with a lot of people and spontaneous dancing events and gatherings, but also secluded parts where you can enjoy reading and listening to the birds.

It's alright as a huge park. Some parts are beautiful, but there are a lot of dirt walkways. It's no NYC central park but nice to visit if you have free time and want some exercise

I loved this park, a real gem in Barcelona, boat rides available for only 7€ on a cute little lake with geese and ducks. The park itself is free with free greenhouses to explore. Also right near the zoo if that's something you are interested in. Heaps of buskers playing lovely music gave this park a great atmosphere too, highly reccomend.

Gorgeous park with statues, fountains, trees, grass, dirt, sky, and air. What more can you ask for? One important thing to consider is the occasional speaker playing music from mysterious friends in the park. Another thing would be the occasional metal-detecting scavenger, who looks for any small (or big) treasure hidden beneath the tendrils of nature. Don't forget your belongings, or one man's trash will become another man's treasure! Whether you come here to take a splash in the little pond, go for a leisurely stroll, have a picnic, or play ball, just remember that the birds are watching and you might get pooped on!

It's an amazing place to go and breathe again in the middle of the city. I'm used to going there many times to ground back to earth, and I always get back home with a nice feeling. There is a coffee shop in front of the lake, and many sculptures across the park. I must warn, however, that the park may have the presence of homeless people (mostly immigrants) that could be dangerous; be careful, the use to remain at the sides of the park. Also, some illegal merchants (called "manteros").

I visited Parc de la Ciutadella, and I loved the lively atmosphere! People were dancing, playing music, and doing sports everywhere—it felt like a big outdoor festival. One of my favorite spots was the Arc de Triomf, an impressive landmark leading into the park. The Cascada Monumental fountain was also stunning. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy the energy, or even join in on the fun. If you want to experience Barcelona beyond the usual tourist spots, this park is a must-see! 10/10
