Always a must when coming back to Buckhannon! Stopped in last night with a couple of friends for some good food and to catch up. Food was delicious! Pizza, four cheese tortellini, American club sandwich, egg rolls, fried green beans, and bacon cheddar fries. Our server Tristan was fabulous!! The manager Chris stopped to check on us and make sure everything was good! We complimented the food so much that one of the cooks, James, came out to thank us! Could have asked for better service 🫶🏻 If you are visiting Buckhannon, you definitely want to stop by C.J. Maggie’s and give it a try! An absolute staple to Buckhannon!

First time here. It did not disappoint. James, our server was great. We had the smash burgers. Omg! They were fantastic. Fast service served piping hot. Awesome ambiance. We will be back here for sure. Huge selection of food types too.

This place is amazing. Service is fantastic. Can't stop staying at the decor. So much to see. Great date night with hubby.

Really cool restaurant in a really cool historical building! Quite the gem in this small town. Loads of options so we'll definitely be going back next trip. I can't recommend this restaurant enough if you're passing through. Food was delicious. I love a good Smash burger and they delivered! My wife also loved the pizza.

There were 6 people in our group. They said we'd have to wait for 30 minutes. We ask about seating us in booths across from yet other and they said they couldn't do that. This has happened to us multiple times. They will not take reservations. There was other seating available but they didn't want to open it up for us. It's such a shame considering Buckhannon doesn't have alot of family style sit down restaurants. Please consider making your eat in area more acceptable to larger families.

I got the cod-zilla and was amazed at how huge it was, the name is very fitting. 3 good size peices of cod with lettuce tomato and cheese. The fish was not oily or greasy at all, perfectly crispy. The bread was perfectly toasted too, crisp exterior and soft interior. Came with a side of kettle chips and a pickle spear. The only thing I think needs improvement is the seasoning, everything seemed like it could use some salt (which is better than being oversalted, but still somewhat bland). The price is generous given the massive portion, I could easily get 3 smaller sandwiches out of the 1 I ordered and it was under $15. Their boozy milkshakes are good too, a little pricy but cold and perfectly blended not to thick or thin, and not small either. Service was also very good, she checked in with me probably 3 times during the meal and was very good at explaining menu items. Very little wait time for food to come out once ordered.

Good little local restaurant to visit at with a great ambiance and vibe. The zucchini strips were delicious as was our meal. Our server was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Definitely worth a stop if you’re around town.

I've been to CJ Maggies several times and have really enjoyed my experience each time. They have so much on their menu from sandwiches to pizza and pasta and even nachos, we've only tried a small portion of what they have to offer. We started with the fried green beans and we got two sauces, honey mustard and ranch, and the beans were crispy but still tasted fresh - very good. For my meal, I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and got a large portion that easily served as my meal. My partner got the Meatball sandwich that had generously sized meatballs and sauce. My mother got the fish and chips and the pieces of fish were huge! It looked like three full filets! Our server, Autumn, was nice and friendly and she made sure we got everything we needed - drinks were promptly refilled, extra sauce was provided, and our food was brought to the table fast and hot. We were all very happy with our meal and the great service. We will return again to try more of the menu!
