CJ's Deli & Diner

We really enjoyed our time here! We got the breakfast wrap and loco moco. Service was friendly and fast, and especially compared to the resorts very affordable! There were so many things I wanted to try I'm working on convincing the BF on coming back tomorrow:). Coffee was great, iced coffee too! Ice coffee is pretty sweet so if you like sugar you'll love it, if you're a purist maybe pick something different. There was a family with 2 little girls that I think had been stopping in there all week and had fordged a relationship with the cashier and this was their last day, they said good byes and then the girls ran back in asking for hugs! So cute! A great local place with amazing staff!

Great selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Build your own breakfast is great, choose how many eggs, sides, etc. The burgers are big and plentiful, especially the bacon cheese burger. The veggie burgers are tasty also. They have something for everyone and are willing make off menu items ( they'll cook your fresh ocean catch too ) Very friendly service and staff. One of our favourites for quick eats while in Maui.

So ONO!! We did the fish program (where they cooked the fish we caught on our charter trip). CJs did a phenomenal job preparing the mahimahi 3 different ways with two additional courses! The service was wonderful and they even added ahi to our plates as a gift! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ate there July 27 and 28 for dinner. Tasty food for a diner, like their mango ribs; Royal Hawaiian Plate which includes Kalua Pork, Mahi Mahi, Chicken Teriyaki, Lomi Lomi Salmon; and Mixed Grill Big BBQ which includes BBQ Ribs, Mahi Mahi & Chicken. Went there during week days for dinner never had trouble finding tables. Waited at most ten minutes for the foods.

The breakfast here was plentiful and delicious. Coffee was perfect and the price was about half the cost than our resort for a regular meal. Not fancy but perfect for the family.

Good chill ambiance. Went in for loco moco, was not disappointed. Hit the spot, couldn't finish the large portion. They have a wide array of options. 8 minute walk from Royal Lahaina.

So looking at the menu online the prices have changed slightly, but oh man oh man was the food delicious! My parents got the Ruben sandwich and I got the special of the day Philly cheese steak. It was so delicious! The menu is very big and robust. I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw but holy cow!!! You must try it for sure! We are definitely going to come back and try more!

I had the huli huli plate lunch. The chicken didn't taste freshly cooked; I wouldn't be surprised if it was leftover from a day or two ago. I was expecting freshly grilled chicken but this wasn't it. The two thighs were covered in a sauce that had an odd consistency, and once again did not seem fresh. I was also disappointed that there was no macaroni salad on the plate; instead there were vegetables. The lady working the register was not friendly at all; I won't be returning here.
