Whenever I get the chance, I love stopping by CJ’s Karen for their delicious and generously portioned meals. The food is not only exquisite but also Halaal, with a diverse menu that caters to every craving. My experience with them was an incredible one. The crew were so friendly and full of smiles, The food was fantastic and tasted great. Even with the large attendance we got our meals so fast. Their best outlet I would say.

My group of 14 were massively impressed when the team here managed to bring out all of our meals within 10-15 minutes of sitting down! Love the cafe vibe and all of the meals I've tried here are delicious. Their desserts and drinks menu is extensive and all equally tasty, so definitely check them out!

The customer service was exquisite. It was a Sunday midday so it was abit packed... We had to wait a few minutes for a table. The food was amazing amazing. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Good portions as well

Pros: Good food portions, speedy service, pizza was quite good, great milkshakes (loved the red velvet one!)
Cons: burgers were terrible - SO dry and overcooked (even though we specifically asked for medium rare), plantain fries are also quite dry and not well spiced. Hefty cake fee (2,000 KES to bring your own cake.)
All in all, an okay place to have a group meal, definitely order their pizzas and shakes, avoid their burgers and plantains!

I haven’t had any bad experiences with CJs. Fast and friendly service, good food (very filling) it’s halal. The place is clean, airy and vibrant. I’ve had solo dates, coupled dates, family dinner and a breakfast and lunch time meetings at cjs and it’s become my go to spot.

Whenever I visit CJ's, I always find it with a thick crowd. But this time, I was determined to have my lunch and grabbed a door-side seat, which was not that cozy. We ordered rice and fish curry, which was okay. The gravy was too thick for us, unfortunately. However, pineapple and mint juice 2as perfect after a 2.5-hour hike at Oloolua Forest.
