Clachtoll Beach Campsite

Happy New Year!!!!|Had a great time at this fab site. Great facilities, lovely welcome and fantastic NYE gathering. |We had some Wild weather, snow, rain and winds, which we loved and overall a fantastic 4 nights, great way to bring in 2025.|We even had a little help to get us on our way with our flat battery. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. |Would heartily recommend. Our second stay, won't be our last.

This campsite was 10/10! Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facilities.. use of paddle boards/ kayaks, cosy undercover fire pit area, clean showers/ toilets/ kitchen areas. Easy access to the beach. Added bonus of a breakfast roll made for us and delivered right to our van! Would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

First came to the Stoer peninsula 40 years ago when a friend and I, as students, supported by my late father, came to climb The Old Man of Stoer. Then in the present day, a project involving trying to find the location of a family heirloom painting of a beach and mountain scene which had hung in my late parents-in-law’s house. Turns out it was of the beach right here (admittedly with a fair bit of artistic license going on). ||You get a great welcome. Andy, Tom and Connall are characters. The little shop is terrific - fresh langoustines and pre-prepared meals from the fridge. Home-baked bread. And once you get a whiff of the bacon rolls cooking at Flossie’s beach shop, you’ll be straight over there too. Extremely well-kept toilet and shower facilities, spacious cooking, wash-up and recreational spaces, including BBQ’s and a semi-outdoor woodburning stove. Oh and don’t forget the bean to cup coffee machine. ||Nor the amazing views of the mountains to the south down the west coast. ||An absolutely first class place.

A gem of a site! Owners absolutely fantastic! Pitches good size Shower block excellent Honesty fridge in pot wash along with a coffee machine. Bacon butties were being delivered Use wetsuits and boards free, just a refundable £10 deposit to use at the beach which is a 5 min walk. Enjoyed our stay and will be back. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This has got to be the best campsite I have ever been to. Fantastic welcome with a doggy welcome pack, super clean and well stocked facilities. Even shower gel and shampoo provided. A doggy bar with toys and help yourself treats, an honesty fridge for goodies you may want, free use of wetsuits and paddle boards and a campfire in the evening. The owners have clearly thought of everything anyone could want on a camping holiday. Also this site is in the most beautiful countryside on an absolutely stunning beach. I cannot praise this campsite highly enough, my only complaint is that we were only staying one night. We will be back.

What a wonderful campsite. |Everyone is given a tour of the facilities and they were good. |Showers and toilets were spotlessly clean and modern. Lots of hot water.|Great pitches. You park on astro turf so it looks lovely and green, no mud!|The camp owner offered so much, free paddle boards, surf boards, body boards also wet suits, in all sizes. Buckets, spades, Binoculars. |At night an undercover area had a log burner lit for people to sit an enjoy. This also included bbq cooking areas.|There were books to borrow, board games.|Brilliant. I wish we were there during warmer weather. With a beautiful bay and all the equipment on offer it would have been wonderful.

An absolute gem! Out of all the other sites we had stayed at on our road-trip this one had such a lovely feel about it. The check in is second to none with a friendly thorough show round of all the amenities which go above and beyond what you could ever possibly need from a site. It was such a joy to have a pitch with astro turf as it made emptying and giving the campervan a clean and a sort out such an ease especially with 2 dogs. I like a gravel pitch but you do end up with bits in the van and obviously grass pitches the same. We didn’t have much time here but spent an hour on Clachtoll beach exploring which was gorgeous. Showers and toilets spotlessly clean.

We have spent 6 days here for a long break to relax. Andy and Tom have this campsite bang on! It's got everything you need, nothing is too much trouble, they light the fire every night which brings people together. Weve met people from all over the world, shared stories and experiences and met some amazing people. The beach is just out of this world, even though we had lots of rain the sea views you just can't beat them. All the facilities they provide, the cleanliness of the showers, toilets and all areas is fantastic! Even the little things like the dog wash, poo bags if you need them, a little doggy welcome pack, the blankets around the fire pit, all the gear you can use for the beach. We needed to relax and this place provided this in abundance. We will certainly be back to this amazing campsite in the future. Thanks for a great stay and giving us just what we needed.
