Clachtoll Beach Campsite

We had a lovely stay here for a mini break with our caravan. The pitches were well kept and well spread out. With only a short walk to the beach, and with other beautiful places to visit nearby, this was a convenient, relaxing site. The washrooms were tidy and the staff were very friendly. Speaking of staff, when we left, there was a member of staff that I told that we were all packed up and just leaving. I'm pretty sure he called me "chief", I didn't know how to take this. As a female, I have never been called chief. But I assume this is their way of being friendly, I suppose there are female chiefs🤔 Anyway, the shop is small, but has some nice produce for sale. They also have a range of water sport equipment that customers can use, ask the staff about this arrangement if you're interested. We will definitely visit this site again in the future.

Absolute paradise. Friendly owners/managers who made me feel very safe staying as a female solo traveler with dog. Nice facilities. Loved my pitch which was spacious for a naughty Jack Russell on the lead. Beautiful beach and safe sea to swim in. Lovely fellow campers and atmosphere. Great little snack bar outside called Flossies. I would have stayed longer! Well done!

We arrived yesterday and what a welcome We received. The place was absolutely outstanding, so clean , tidy and just so calm and tranquil. The facilities were so lovely and the cooking place with the lovely log burner was amazing. We had Our dog and he had blankets and pads to lay on near the fire . Unfortunately the weather took a bit of a turn so we left the next day but we will certainly be back . The beach was like something from a movie . Thank you to the staff and people who were using the site. So friendly. Special thank you to Tom who checked us in and made us feel so welcome. We will be back :)

What a great site. Good tent pitch area, communal use kitchen areas with pots and pans, microwaves, fridges, log burner the list goes on. Fresh milk and meats and homemade meals available. Good toilet/shower facilities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Best camp site I've stayed at, highly recommended

This campsite has everything you need, clean showers, toilets even family shower and toilet rooms. Communal kitchens, kettles, toasters and wood fire pit. Site is spotless and has a little shop for essentials. Even has a fridge that campers can use. Beach very close by, paddle boards and Ayala available for a returnable deposit. |Would 100% rebook this site. |The pitch sizes are huge with astroturf making pitching easy. We easily fitted two tents on one pitch with electrics.

We had a brilliant stay at Clachtoll campsite! Everything has been thought of - on site shop, evening fire & cute undercover seating area, hot water bottles, blankets, games, cooking facilities & options to use wetsuits/kayaks etc. Lovely hot showers. Very charming & full of people enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Wonderful area around wood burner which was invaluable when having bad weather. The whole site is beautifully maintained with very well equipped disabled and family rooms. Huge range of leisure and sports equipment for outdoor activities and watersports. Highly recommend a visit.

Everything has been thought of to make sure you can have an amazing time while holidaying at Clachtoll Beach Campsite. Everyone is very friendly and takes time to chat and advise on things to do in the local area. We were treated to a few music nights as some of the regular campers showed off their skills and some of the most amazing sunsets.
