Clachtoll Beach Campsite

Fantastic campsite, great facilities, the new extended communal area is prefect for gatherings with the fire pit to keep you warm. Having paddle boards and kayaks to borrow is a bonus. The bay is nicely sheltered for beginners. The little shop has great cakes and seafood. Fantastic friendly staff. A big Thumbs up from all of our group. Thanks Moray Masters swimming club.

We were immediately welcomed to the site and shown around all the facilities by the charming owners. The facilities include a very well equipped kitchen area including a fridge to store any food, full use of pans and cooking utensils, a choice of two full hobs, sheltered homely dining area with fire which is lit every evening. Toilets and showers are very clean and accommodated my family of 6 perfectly. We were delighted that you can use paddle boards and wetsuits without charge. The site is perfectly situated next to Clachtoll beach. Our pitch came with electric and a tap with drinking water. Everyone is very friendly and the site has a brilliant, laid back vibe. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much for our stay.

With the right weather, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Amazing scenery, crystal clear waters, not over crowded. Very well run and generous campsite. A good range of beach equipment provided for free, what more can you ask for? It Scotland, so always come prepared for midges.

A place dear to our hearts. Andy, Tom, and Connell are wonderful hosts. Attentive and helpful, and equipped for any weather. The wonderful community on site rounds this out. Always quiet, relaxed, and positive. We met many people around the fire pit and spent some fantastic hours together. The games evening was simply great fun. The homemade and prepared snacks taste simply heavenly. Thank you for the stormy yet wonderful time at your campsite.

We arrived yesterday and what a welcome We received. The place was absolutely outstanding, so clean , tidy and just so calm and tranquil. The facilities were so lovely and the cooking place with the lovely log burner was amazing. We had Our dog and he had blankets and pads to lay on near the fire . Unfortunately the weather took a bit of a turn so we left the next day but we will certainly be back . The beach was like something from a movie . Thank you to the staff and people who were using the site. So friendly. Special thank you to Tom who checked us in and made us feel so welcome. We will be back :)

We had a lovely stay here for a mini break with our caravan. The pitches were well kept and well spread out. With only a short walk to the beach, and with other beautiful places to visit nearby, this was a convenient, relaxing site. The washrooms were tidy and the staff were very friendly. Speaking of staff, when we left, there was a member of staff that I told that we were all packed up and just leaving. I'm pretty sure he called me "chief", I didn't know how to take this. As a female, I have never been called chief. But I assume this is their way of being friendly, I suppose there are female chiefs🤔 Anyway, the shop is small, but has some nice produce for sale. They also have a range of water sport equipment that customers can use, ask the staff about this arrangement if you're interested. We will definitely visit this site again in the future.

This was our second stay on the campsite. We spent 10 nights there with a tent and even during the Floris storm. The owners did everything to protect our tent from collapsing and really helped a lot. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. On weekends special charity events like Bingo or a quiz evening are organized. The dining area and the wood fire invite anybody for a stay and a talk. We met many new and very friendly people. Clachtoll really is the place to be!! Many thanks to Tom, Connel and Andy for this great campsite!

Absolute paradise. Friendly owners/managers who made me feel very safe staying as a female solo traveler with dog. Nice facilities. Loved my pitch which was spacious for a naughty Jack Russell on the lead. Beautiful beach and safe sea to swim in. Lovely fellow campers and atmosphere. Great little snack bar outside called Flossies. I would have stayed longer! Well done!
