Well worth the drive to get to it (late September 25) , If you are an introvert, don't like children having fun and attempting to find yourself through silence , this is not the place for you. It is a wonderful Campsite for the rest of the people. Very friendly welcome, excellent local fresh produce. Although I would recommend that you stock up with essentials. Carabien sea Sands, crystal clear water with cold ocean temperatures. Orcas pay a visit now and then. Activities are encouraged by the owners, £10.00 refundable deposit secures you a wetsuit to keep you warm in the ocean. Clean toilets, showers and there is a complimentary kitchen area with cookers! We booked for a stop over, next time it will be a week. We will be back again. Would highly recommend

My favourite camp site on our NC500 holiday. Very friendly greeting and personally shown around the site. Pitch was large and flat. Easy to walk to the beach. Also watched the sunset and there were lots of stars on the night we were there. Loved the social area with the log burner in the evening.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Stayed here recently in our caravn for 5 nights. Absolutely brilliant. Great sizes pitches with electric and water tap. There's a great amenity room with washers and dryers. A small room with books and games that our grandson loved. The covered outside area with cookers, sinks, and a log fire is fantastic. 5 minute walk to a great beach. Staff were amazing with our 3 year old letting him light the candles and fire at night. Great Little shop/hut 2 minutes walk out of the gate that sells alcohol, freshly baked cakes and much more. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for the being the highlight of our trip and thanks so much for how good you all were with the little un 👍

A wonderful campsite in a stunning location. Friendly welcoming staff, excellent pitches, flat and good size. Spotlessly clean showers, toilets and washing up areas. The owners of this gem of a site have thought of everything, from great covered area with cooking facilities and fire pit and loads of stuff for a day at the beach and in the sea. Great sandy beach. Dogs are made to feel very welcome and the home made cake in the shop is delicious.

We stayed for two nights while doing the NC500. We were delighted with the site, from arrival the team were welcoming and gave us a walk round of the site. The location and views are stunning, you can see why some people stay here for longer. The facilities really set this site apart, it’s has character and everyone is catered for including dogs. The communal space is genius and very popular. Pitch sizes were very large with ample space in between others. Also mention Flossies around the corner for coffee, cake and groceries. We’ll definitely be back again.

We stayed here for one night on the NC500 tour. This was by far the best campsite we experienced. We wish we had booked it for longer. Although remote, it has all the facilities on site needed for a nice time, a beautiful little communal community area to gather by the fire and chat to other guests, honesty boxes, great shower and toilet facilities. There is also flossies shop nearby if you forget things. The most beautiful thing was the beach I’ve never seen anything like it in Scotland and could be mistaken for a tropical oasis. Golden sands and crystal blue waters. We didn’t want to go home. The pitches on site are well kept and we had a lovely visit. Would recommend Clachtoll beach campsite to anyone.

Lovely location metres from the beach. While it is remote there is a communal area with cooking facilities, tables and a fire pit lit every evening that is sheltered from the weather - this was a definite plus point. ||Onsite well stocked shop and we landed on the day of the fish van visit. ||Toilets and showers adequate although charge extra for hairdryer & straighteners. Wifi patchy but we weren’t bothered for this.

Our favourite campsite on the NC500. Tom and Andy are so lovely and have such a nice welcome to the site. We spent 2 nights here but could have stayed for longer if we'd had the time. Being able to hire the paddle boards and wetsuits by just giving a £10 deposit that you get back was amazing. We had the best time and both myself and my wife Nat got really good in the end. Loved the chilled area with the fire. Great place to socialise and share a drink with other people who are traveling Scotland. The fresh lobster was delicious aswell. Definitely would recommend this campsite to anyone and hope to visit again in the future .
