Clara Restaurant

I chose to end my Barcelona trip with a dinner reservation at @clara__barcelona 🪿 a restaurant I’ve been following since around 2023 because of its beautifully designed logo and branding. The atmosphere was amazing, the decor was stunning, and the whole vibe made me want to come back again!

Everything here is delishhh, my fav dish are the scallop and beef cheeks. And the squid beans. Everything is on points. You could come here everyday for different dishes you won’t get disappoint. 10/10 I would say. Don’t forget to order the deserts!!!

Very good food and cozy place. We loved the anchovy toast with truffled butter. We arrived for dinner at 8 pm and there was no one there - it was great, but when we left around 9.30 pm, it was too noisy. The prices are a bit high. All the staff is super friendly.

Everything was perfect, from food to service! I read other reviews and yes, prices are high, but they are proportional to the quality. I definitely recommend the starter with anchovies (the truffle butter bread slices) and the grilled calamari/squid , these were my favorite. Our waiter was very funny and served us very well. Would definitely come here again! 10/10 Advice: Take into consideration the dinner opens at 8pm and until then you only have access to some tapas and good cava/wine

5 stars food ⭐️ The food was amazing from start to finish. We were a group of 5 this time, so were lucky to try multiple dishes that just got better and better. We started with a pan con tomate, and some croquetas de marisco. Delicious. Then we went for the huevos fritos con jamon y gamba, which were served with french fries per suggestion. Next was the tomate, pistacho and mascarpone. Insane. Also insane: the calamar. So good. To finish we asked for a meloso de ternera which could be sliced with a spoon!! Propz to the chefs. For postre, we had the tiramisu with chocolate and pistacho. We loved it. Merci. Obrigado! From 🇵🇹 living in Bcn.

Lunch menu of 20 euros. This is quite short as was soup +meat or fish, but was adequate, we also tasted the fried eggs with 🦐 shrimps and were not so good, it is strange as other people speak great about this restaurant but today was not as good as expected.

Stuff is rude, we constantly felt like they want to kick us out. Even though we ordered main dishes and wines. I felt pressured drinking faster my glass of wine, cause waiters kept asking 5 times about more orders. When we placed an order, waiter was annoyed that it’s not that many dishes (4 and wine) and we said we might order more later. In response he said “if there is more time for this”. It was 8pm! Also twice they told me and my friend that came early that my reservation doesn’t exist, which was said very careless and rude. Awaiting for this reservation and then being treated like we are broke foreigners is unacceptable.. I must say, that food is good and special. But with this service it wasn’t about nice food experience anymore ..

We had a lovely dinner in this new restaurant. We enjoyed the anchovy starter, the carpaccio of presa iberica and the ventresca. The chipirones were good but not filling so I would swap it next time. The meloso de ternera was filling and tasty!
