This has been an exceptional holiday experience. Tim and Bianca are absolutely fabulous hosts and guides. They’ve created a thoughtfully curated walking and winery experience that ambles through the gorgeous Clare Valley vineyards and stops at just the right time for breaks , coffee, wine tasting and lunch. Their local knowledge and connections to this place makes this one of the personalised walks I’ve done.

The Clare Valley wine and wilderness trail really lives up to it’s name - each section starts and finishes at a winery (or the tourism centre), but also takes you through extensive sections of native forests, back corners of the valley you would otherwise never see, and many of the sections have amazing views and interesting historical aspects. Basically - it’s a really pretty bush walk that has wine at the end! 😎

Great opening day for stage 6 today. Thanks to all trailblazers involved. A nice 14.6km section with great diversity of scenery and terrain, and the finish at Pauletts was perfect. How good were the steak burgers?!! Congratulations to everyone who helped put this together. It will be a great eco-tourism drawcard.
